I’d love a video about the experience riding under zero degree Celsius. How do you manage the slippery roads? Is there any snow?
Great short!... good information.
Hi TJ! Great to hear from you bro! Thank you for the kind words! 🍻🍻
My bike just has 2800 miles, bu it was informarive, and very theraputic, also know how straight forward the Rebell is to maintain.
Hi Frank! It's great to hear from you man! Thank you for your kind words sir 🍻🍻🍻
Discharge is fine for lithium in cold weather... its the charging that shouldn't happen, do these batteries have any cold weather protection?
Hi John, They have protection, but not sure if it has cold weather protection tbh... 🍻🍻
$1500 for shocks + fitting . . . WOW ! I thought this was a cheap bike ? . . . .Thanks for the video .
Yeah... unfortunately Ohlins is expensive... But there are other options out there to consider such as YSS. Thank you for the comment!
If you want to avoid starting your Rebel battery in the cold, you have to do what I have done.... relocate to a tropical country 🌞⛱🌴. Well, I couldn't find a better reason for moving to the Philippines, right? 🤜🤣🤛
Who wouldn't love to retire in a paradise like the Philippines? Some day my friend.... LOL
Started mine at 19F overnight once... lithium battery, screen for very dim and it sounded like molasses and clutch dct was very slow and slippery but heated up quickly
Hi T!!!!!!! That's great to hear bro, this is good info for the community!
Nice to know. BTW, I'd l like to see a video on valve adjustment. Thanks.
Hey Ron, so good to her from you man! Glad to hear that you still have the Rebel! I got all the parts needed to do the valve clearance, gotta find the time to do it and film it... 🍻🍻
@@ontherebel11 Good. I tried to do mine at 16k miles but I couldn't get the valve cover completely off. Must be some trick, but I couldn't see it.
@ThisIsStartingToAnnoyMe thank you for the heads up! 👍
Nice!!! Short!😂
Nice & Short just like me hahahhaha
Wind Chill has no effect on equipment. It only affects living things. But, great quick video on the Lithium battery.
Than you Bill, yes you are right, it does not affect equipment, but i assure you that it affected me LOL, Hence the short video hahahahha
I disagree, i hope you are joking.

My Man! LOL
Are you using the OEM batwing or did you go with a 3rd party one?
Hi Edward, this is the OEM batwing 🍻

Nope I still think you need an arm chair fitted.
I'll update you when I get it done 😉
Awesome work . Amazing. 👍
Thank you Michael, i appreciate your support bro! 🍻🍻
Brilliant. Your bike looks amazing. Love the lights. 👍
Thank you Michael!!!!! 🍻🍻🍻
It looks like the stock tailpipe needs to come off for the removal of the tire, unless I'm mistaken?
Yeah, you will have to rotate it out of the way.....
Watching this for another time! Such a great ride with you can't wait to do it again!
That's awesome bro! Can't wait to do it again, this snow sucks! 🍻🍻🍻
@ oh yes it does!
Cruse conyrol issue is voltage load is o erwelming you charging system, time to upgrade you stator and coils.
Hi Frank, I agree with you, it is prevalent when the electrical system is loaded as I have heated gear and fog lights.
Thanks for the video, i was thinking but now i wont.
Hi Frank, it is totally your choice but don't let my experience turn you away from a great bike. The cruise control issue is a result of me connecting lots of things to the battery.
you have some real good video on your channel 👍
Thank you BC, I appreciate your kind feedback! 🍻🍻🍻🍻
Gus!! I’m always so impressed with your ingenuity and creative approach to rigging gear to fit your needs on your bike. So cool!! Also, love that the back rest can convert into one for the passenger, who’ll then in turn, become your backrest 😉😂🤙 awesome design.
@@ashleyxblanco hi Ashley! So good to hear from you! 🤣🤣 I'm blessed to have wonderful backrests when I ride with a passenger, seems like you know me well 😅
Unfortunately, this does not work as a driver backrest when using the Corbin dual tour saddle because there's not enough clearance for it to snap forward =\. Corbin makes a driver backrest for the seat, but it's 600 dollars so was hoping to save money and have something versatile like this. But oh well. The dual tour seat has to stay because my wife likes it the best of every passenger seat we've tried
Hi Ben! Thank you for contributing, that was my gut feeling but didn't have a dual to verify! Really appreciate it brother! 🍻🍻🍻
Cool music ans views wao, great video.
Thank you for the encouragement and support Frank!!!
Happy New Year Gus!

Thanks for the lesson, i had mine installed by the dealer when i bought my Rebel 1100 dct- 2022. Much easier! LOL
🤣🤣🤣 A wise move 🍻🍻🍻
Great review man. I bought this F1 on Amazon also thanks to your experience here, and right after a few days of testing i'm already happy of the overall quality. This made me buy also a N4Pro today for the car. The only thing i can complain about this F1 is the remote control cable lol, they could put the cord on the other side of the remote to have the wire on the bottom of the remote when installing it vertically. PS: bought also a Sandisk High Endurance microsd, it works flawlessly with this cam.
I'm happy to hear that! I also ended getting another dashcam for my son's car 🤣🤣 All of them are still working like a champ! Thank you for your comment! 🍻🍻🍻
in the 7 mike bridge youbfind this crazy bikers.
YES!!! Absolutely crazy! It is too risky to ride like that on the street......🍻
i prefer confor over ogly,
Hi Frank! Yes, i agree with you 100%! 🍻🍻🍻
yea lately in the past 10 years people arived in florida, don know from where but they ddive very fast. am older now and i drove at 70 80 all the time, but noe the new millenilas drive as if they have halapenos in their rear end.
Hi Frank, it's good to hear from you again! Thank you for the additional insight! 🍻🍻
My Valkyrie only cost $12,999. (27 years ago) lol
As much as a house cost back then LOL
@@ontherebel11 I watch all of these videos on rebuilding the 6 carbs on the Valkyrie. I think "why". Ride the damn thing and you won't have problems. In 27 years, I have bought a bunch of tires, oil, batteries, etc. Never been in the motor. I'll race anyone anytime (in a straight line). Great on twisties, no good on a track. The thing is over 8' long and has a turning radius of a semi.
BTW, I gave up on trying to mount the Viking bags. The original mounting hardware was terrible. Then they sent me newer hardware after I saw your video on the mounting system they sent you. They sent me some other junk. After three years, they sit in the garage. Nice bags, terrible mounting hardware. When my Leatherlyke bags need to be replaced on the Valkyrie, I'll put them on that. The Valkyie mountings have nuts on the backside for a secure mount. The Rebel/Viking mounts expect you to put a bolt into surface threaded fitting that can't handle the weight of even just the bag. The only way to get these to work on the Rebel would be to drill out the fender mount and put a nut on the back side.
I'm sorry to hear that you are still having trouble with the mounts man.... I replaced my mounting bolts with 12.9 grade bolts for better sheer strength after the original bolt failed on my Canada trip.... touch wood, i haven't had any problems since. But i agree that the mounting system isn't robust like the SW Motech SLC carrier i had with my Legend bags.
@@ontherebel11 The only fix would be to drill out the fender mount and put a nut on the back side. I'm not going to F with that. I just went back to my soft bags. Throw them over the pee pad and go. One thing I did with the soft bags, since they sag on the exhaust is put a hard side cooler in the bag so it keeps it's shape. It ends pretty much like you have hard bags with a soft mounting system.
Hi again Gus, just to be realistic, a Rebel 1100 is not a "highway bike". It is a great bike for cafe, day trips or just running around. I wouldn't take mine more than 100 miles in a day. If I'm going to do a road trip I get on my Valkyrie, sit back and take in the scenery. When I was 23 and broke, I would have taken my rebel cross country. At 70, no Fn way, even at 40, you need a longer wheel base, smoother motor, more weight, etc. This is my opinion and I doubt if I would get any argument from someone with 20 to 50 years riding that has experienced 1000 mile trips.
Hi James! Great to hear from you! I respect your opinion James, no arguing with that. For the ones that only have the Rebel such as myself, we gotta make it comfy enough to be able to tour on it even though it is in a different league to the valkyrie and goldwing.
@@ontherebel11 Even in my 20s and 30s, I had 650 Kaws, 1000 Hondas and they were ok but they were hard on your axx and you couldn't pack much. With a big bike, you can pack all of your camping gear and your O'l lady.
@@jamescampolo7824 I hear you bro, funny thing is i was just looking at photos from when i was 17 on a DR 650, we went all over the place 2 up, those were simple times....
@@ontherebel11 We did too, but didn't know nor afford any better. lol
@@jamescampolo7824 Exactly!🤣
very well thought out set up. i have 2 of those sw motech tank bags and they worked great for the bike i had at the time. i ride a harley now and they just sit around, but those tank bags worked flawlessly
Hey Jojo, thank you for your comment bro, I love SW Motech gear! 🍻🍻🍻
I don't have a Rebel but my friend does. It was fun to watch a motorcycle video while my area is getting bombarded with snow. Good job on video and editing.

Hi Gus, do you have a video up on those pillion footpegs? I tried searching through your channel but couldn't find them. Otherwise, do you have any direct links for those footpegs as well? Thank you!
Hi Re re, i have not done a video about the passenger foot pegs, i had to relocate them forward by 3 inches in order for a passenger to be able to use them since i have the viking bags. It was a pita project tbh with lots of grinding and failures... buying the pegs alone won't work as a replacement as there is a size difference.... They look great and feel great, but it was a project to make it work... if there is enough interest maybe i'll do a video about it. Here is the link, just remember that they will not work without modification a.co/d/a42C2po
Yes, a bit ugly, this back rest. But such a beautiful bike's look cannot be touched by any ugly back rest. But I won't get one, since I am still young (70 🤣) and flexible. Since I have a new seat, I got no more probs with discomfort of any kind. Happy New Year. ♥️
Kamusta ka! Happy new year to you as well young man! I'm happy to hear that you sorted out your seat brother! 🍻🍻🍻
@@ontherebel11 Kumusta ka din. Happy to see that you speak a little (or more than little?) Tagalog. Astig iyan. My only discomfort with the R 1100 is when I cannot ride due to bad weather, sleep, eat and other things, which cannot go together with biking... 🤜🤣🤛

It sure is, i toured with it for 10 days and it changed the way i think about top cases, the convenience of having it is unmatched tbh! and the price is very reasonable, i highly recommend it! 🍻🍻
nice video as always and happy new years to you! btw have you tried T-rex driver back rest? This must be better that's why posting this one?
Thank you! Great question, thank you for asking it! I researched backrests extensively over the last 3 years, and the one made by T Rex was high on the list. I wanted one that is highly adjustable as i am a shorter rider, and i didn't want to sacrifice taking a passenger, so this one checked all the boxes for me. I hesitated getting it over the past couple of years as i didn't trust the construction and didn't like the looks. The constructions turned out very impressive, stronger than the oem passenger backrest (thicker metal), extremely well thought out and engineered. The T Rex backrest is not flexible and i couldn't get over it. 🍻
Miss you bud.
Hi Ben!! Miss you too bro, been too long!!! Happy new year!!!🍻🍻🍻
