If you want to go fast, don't buy this bike. Not what it was meant for.
Next project, get rid of Injection and O2 sensor and replace it with an old school carburator…
Just curious, how was the throttle response with this setup?
Throttle response was good, minimal turbo lag due to the small volume of the turbo manifold and short intake pipe.
Honda Bought out Montesa Spain to aquire the trail bikes
👏
I would definitely buy one!
Ethanol is in there to support to the corn growers and fund the kick backs to the politicians who ‘throw their weight behind’ this very stupid and short sighted notion that it magically reduces pollution. Ethanol pulls in water, degrades fuel lines and rubber carb components, increases engine heat production all leading to additional wear and tear. And is a potential disaster to light sport engines. Lead in avgas does lead to additional deposits, but also reduces valve wear. Side note: all of this is moot as long as aviation insurance continues to soar and exclude those who want to buy or build.
after modification pushrod tensioner you not bleeding bro.
53mm its batter to me. standert valve cylinder head. potring in ex batter. just replace cdi racing or ecu. but bercareful some damage coming. timing chain. tensioner roller set pushrod tensioner. can damage and hit gearbox. you engine can totally broke.
Very entertaining vid I enjoyed that thanks for sharing
Thanks for watching
theyre "posties" here... but then it gets all a bit grey... 90 and 110, the ct125 was a vertical cylinder akin to an XR. because it was. like the CB125, etc... so, i always knew the c and ct90/110 has a different engine mount to the 50 and 70, and the 50/70 is the same as the lifans.../chinese "clones". but then the 12v c90s with square headlights apparently run the same pattern as the 50/70... did a lot of mucking around on them, but always got a bit peeved as certain aspects of the hondas didnt suit re-working without really digging in... like yeah, i figured out wiseco pistons, sleeved cylinders, and stroked them but i was never a fan of the honda engine itself... so, whats the engine mounts on this here trail 125 versus the others? strap a lifan 140... theyre bulletproof. and parts like cams are cheap...
Built two. They are way better than my hi-lifts.
Both pt 1amd 2 were superb thanks a lot , enjoyed them both, not had my bike yet , next week I hope , G
Finally the mail’s gonna be delivered on time
Turbo time
The amount of times I rewatched that part 😂
I think everyone does too!
Somebody should do a 250cc version of this bike. It'd be slightly heavier and slightly beefier. But i bet it would sell like hot cakes. Interesting video. Thanks Mr 😎
What a waste of time play boy. And if something gos5 wrong. You've. Screwd. Yourself no more warranty. And what about all the kids fallow you and there bike. Brakes. Now there s ewd y your mistakes. Your just a little money brat and now the kids that fallowed you there little live are screwd. Sham Shame on you and you have now shame.
You’ve got your own Ozark Stig…😎but it’s a wonder you are still married after that one.
Haha! She knew what she was getting into.
Hi there just came across your site, what a professional video...my new goto site on UA-cam . Thank you so much .
You're welcome!
A little bit of Penatrol made by Flood helps that rustoleum really look good ,its a self leveling agent.
I have used naphtha instead of acetone to thin it out when brushing it on. The naphtha takes longer to evaporate, so the paint levels out more, but you get more dust and bugs.
What is your jaltitude and jetting on the vm26?
I think I ended up with a 17.5 pilot jet and a 185 main, tuned with a wideband o2 sensor setup. Same hill test as in this video: ua-cam.com/video/EeXsm-Qf62E/v-deo.html Altitude is 800ft MSL or so, and never changed the jetting when I took the bike to Colorado. It started and ran just fine at over 12,000 ft (Cumberland Pass).
Great comparison report thanks for posting 👍
I hope it helped, you can see how much the small tires and small suspension wear out the rider in this video: ua-cam.com/video/43JGIjh0PZ8/v-deo.html
yep your from the ozarks...........thats why you keep a cover on them so crap does not get on/in them
Are you referring to the zip neoprene covers? I have never seen those accomplish anything. They aren't sealed, so they still allow dust and moisture to get in, and then they are held.
You me Yamaha Blaster 200. Not a Banshee 350.
In Australia , the postal service use them .
Not for long, getting replaced with an electric 3-wheeler soon
Ah understand 'bout needin sum speed to get though some of them dicey hollers...especially when yew hear banjo music😅
just passing by, thanks, lol
The trail 125 is just so cheapend compaired to a trail 90. I just don't see the draw to them. The little engine needs a dual range transmission to move an adult. To me it feels like a Chinese knockoff of the original. Dr200 over the trail 125 for me.
You call yourselves Ozark Garage, where are you located? I would like to do the big bore on mine but am a bit intimidated to tackle it solo.
This is kinda interesting I like having all the tools to help in any situation yet I'm cheap but I'll never have this kit way too expensive maybe if I get one of these jack at estate sale trade day for cheap I'll just fab the kit myself.
Looks great. Why not aluminum? No need to paint and no corrosion.
Aluminum would be a good choice, but you would need to use 3/16" thick 6061-t6 to get the same strength. Home Depot doesn't sell 6061, it's all 6063, which isn't as strong.
I’m a fan of your…Just do shit….style. 👍👍
Insert Shia Leboeuf meme here! Thanks!
Great idea .What hand guards are you using on the 125 ?
This is what Australia Post use to deliver mail there little work horses and great for that purpose
Not for long, they have been deemed unsafe for the Aussie postmen. Getting replaced with an electric 3-wheeler.
bravo
A lot of owners LOVE their #CT125! But a HUGE number of these Hondas are always for sale - some with less than 100 miles! Why? Buyer's Remorse. The cycle is slow, under-powered, and uncomfortable on longer rides. After paying upwards of $5,000, the new owners discover that the #CT125 isn't like any other motorcycle they have owned or want to ride. On the other hand, the #Honda Trail is so different, quirky, and nostalgic that the rest of the owners say that it is their FAVORITE motorcycle. Despite its limitations, they plan to keep it forever. Now imagine being able to buy this little, retro 125cc for HALF the price? More riders would both BUY and KEEP it - and live with the realities of riding a mini-moto. For an affordable alternative, see also the NEW CSC Wolf 125: ua-cam.com/video/8jpkb_OIxig/v-deo.htmlsi=aglHuqc7jBrBi4NO
It's a trailer jack. Also Farm jacks have other uses...like working as a come-along.
There is an upgrade coming from @brennanmetcalf that allows it to be used for pulling.
I don't watch videos about bike nor even subscribe. However, yours is super. I love your video so much. And you explained things very well. Keep it up bro!❤
Thanks!
Acrylic Enamel hardeners are what you want, the majic tractor paint catalyst is just a rebranded acrylic enamel hardener. Do not use urethane hardeners because those hardeners are designed to work with polyurethane and acrylic urethane, if you mix urethane hardener with alkyd enamel, the paint with turn into a substance that looks like mucusy boogers.... ask me how I know 😊
Surely a less restrictive exhaust system would be needed with a big bore, cam and bigger injector.
Bigger exhaust would probably make a difference, but we're trying to keep the bike QUIET.
Nitrous (for the hills😊)
The thought has crossed my mind!
excellent use of the HF sit-on rolling toolbox
the whole point of the farm jack is the huge amount of lift, and that you can use it as a come-along.
That’s pretty awesome 👍
Thanks 👍
Is there a gasket for the rocker cover or does it just use permatex?
The manual specified Suzuki brand sealant but I used ultra gray permatex
Cool project
Puts gloves on while stripping engine but non when removing sump plug!
I don’t even need a two wheeler but I still watched the whole thing…..you’re good
59mm bore cam lift 5.3 valve spring 5 turns 140cc injector head works- turbulence
