Here is the making scenes of The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King some intro of the complete team of the lord of the ring Behind the scene
Thank you to all those who worked on the best trilogy of all time, all those in the background too. Amazing.
Will watch again after checking this out 😊 Read n 1970 read Hobbit in 68.
As a certain Vulcan would say in another franchise - Fascinating! What a crew! Working out each minute detail and then blending it to make a scene, just amazing.....
You ain’t missing meals Pete….
Im from New Zealand and my dad was an extra in this film so i was hoping i could see him behind the scenes i am still watching to see!
Christopher Lee is a treasure.
Uma obra de arte, não é só o diretor que tem q ser excelente, toda equipe.
I love watching how these movies are made! God bless all who were involved!
The first Lord of the Rings being made by Peter Jackson in 2000 then in 2001 the two towers and in 2002 The Return of the King making the third and final sequel to be 4 hours and 30 minutes long now that right there is a Perfect finale for whatever film could be 4 hours long next❤❤❤
so much better then the new stuff
4:53 made me laugh seeing Sir Ian on a wooden toy horse with no head 😂 It looks like one of those child rides you see outside of a supermarket
Bro, they really build Grond, i also thought that was CGi but seeing how much actually isnt CGI melts my Heart. You feel why this Movies are just the Top. Even the Mumakhil is made in a really big scale, thats so damn awesome.
I just wish they had never shot the scene with the rolling sculls in the mountain of the dead It makes the scene comical, where it should be dead serious and tense. I mean it is a matter of life and death to get the dead to fight for Gondor. Whatever it is - it's NOT funny and comical. Huge mistake.
1:49:01 XD
No one one gonna say anything at 21:37-21:45 just me okay🤣🤣
32:00 onward got me giggling "Stand to you your terror. your Posts. Oh dear oh dear"
So they did shot in 3D should release that one
The balanced combination of practical effects, camera, music, setting and cgi, is what makes it simply perfect, even 20 years later.
Golly who was the stuntman they set on fire?
I see some comments of people appreciating, but missing some scenes in the movie. THIS IS BECAUSE you probably have not seen the EXTENDED versions! :) Ready to rediscover LOTR trilogy ?
Basically amazon can now die in peace knowing that not them not anyone can make something even remotely good and qualitative. Thank you.
Now I certainly know, that there is never going to be another movie with such a success.
was that skull roll cut from the film?
I thank every single of these good people for making a legend movie like LOTR. Im still watching Ill be watching 20 years later if I live.
Forget poster of lord of the rings. Get a poster of this great man Peter Jackson.
Wow, making pancakes one at a time?!? They ever hear of a skillet
God damn Viggo is fucking sexy in this, good lord 🤤
The way they made it, so realistically with locations and costumes - they unfortunately don't do it anymore. These movies are timeless bc of it
Re-watched this countless times , even more than movies , and i used to watch them once a week.
I watch Coppola docs (like the apocalypse now documentary) for the inspiration that comes of watching someone fit to burst with ideas. I watch Peter Jackson docs like this to be reminded to get up and do the work every day. That guy put all of himself into these movies. it’s still so incredible to have a document of it. (This is not to say one is lesser than the other or that PJ was the only one working hard on these movies or in general… I just find it amazing every time I revisit these).
And now try to watch the Ring of Power without 🤢🤢 🤮
Better than Rings of Power.
Even the behind the scenes footage of Theodens battle call gets me 😭
Not the broken snow machine 😂💀
8:35 love this
I really disliked the casting agent, what do you mean if youre excited then you are less likely to be taken. So stupid 🥲
Your grammar is horrendous. None of your comment made any sense
The whole project was kissed by magic or something. I mean, how is it possible that so many incredible masters of their craft came together, created a timeless master piece of art and they even found time to joke during production?! These will forever be my favourite movies.
Great job great movie
So many amazing small moments in these BTS rolls that are really the key/secret sauce behind what made these 3 films in another league of their own. 38:42 the attention to detail in building Smeagol/Gollums character and getting the small things right, in this case when peter adds in he needs to be seen fiending for the ring is a great touch, and I thought quite funny the way they discuss it.
Anyone watching in 2024? In 2024 the CGI is terrible. How did they manage to create effects that are still great today with computers that today wouldn't open a photo? This is amazing!
my god this is mesmerizing
7:26 I wasn´t listening properly and thought, oh thank god, they are dipping only a dummy into the water. Then they rewound the wheel and it came back up which made me giggle because that would have made a wonderful blooper if it had happened during shooting. And then I was shocked when the dummy suddenly moved!
digo mortensen tendria q haber interpretado a jesus
Brilliant doesn’t describe this whole process!!! Unreal
😊
saya berharap sharoun kembali dan petualangan lord of the ring di buat lagi yang lebih seru
Will rather watch a documentary of the making of LOTR than watch Rings of Power. Its atrocious what Tolkien estate has done
All the time, effort, and money to create thousands of skulls when modern movie-makers would've just used CGI is one example of why these movies are timeless. (It may also hint to Peter Jackson's desire to give jobs to New Zealanders and boost their economy 😁)
A two-hour LOTR behind the scenes, warts and all, including a complaint from a lighting crew about unexploded army ordinance on location, and Serkis being interviewed inside a closet. Should be able to like this post more than once.
