Living with bipolar disorder isn't that bad but it is nerve wrecking at times. However, it shouldn't change the positive ways I see myself. Nothing should change the way we see ourselves #positiveaffirmation #bipolardisorder

Maybe not everyone would sometimes miss the moment they lost their minds. As for creating order with bipolar disorder, I try to go with my mood for the day. One thing I keep at is writing in my journals. Yes, u read that correctly, I'm reading a book that has journaling as an option 🥰 #manicepisode #bipolardisorder #mentalhealth

Yep, in my mind, maybe to my own understanding, growth means not rushing out the house to get out of my head all the time. Not being too involved with my hobbies all the time, either. I can keep my own company without shutting people out of my world. This I once believed was impossible. Boy was I wrong 🥰🥰🥰 #selflove #realgrowth #accordingtome

Although this is one of my favorite songs by Tevin Campbell, it was also the song that I used to answer a question I held in my core for a long time in my youth. I felt validated yet the world around me seemed to have differ from my outlook. Let's talk about it 🥰 #tevincampbell #couldyoulearntolovesomeone #iknowican

So yesterday became a day of living in the moment. Recording a video then felt impossible, & that's ok. Today, being a new day, gave me the opportunity to share my discovery of self. I gladly share this with all of you 🥰

This wasn't a walk in the park type of decision. All I knew, at least for myself, was what was being recognized as patriarchal, some of what is being recognized, didn't fit within my vocabulary nor matched my understanding. Just call me a rebel.....🥰

Good morning one & all. Aww, a nice Monday morning at home, couldn't ask for a better day. After having fun in Korean town in NYC yesterday, I was glad with the reminder of how much we need each other in this thing called life. U want to prove me wrong? Have a gander at this fresh video & try telling me otherwise in the comments below 🥰

O, please do not misconstrue this title to mean anything other than my current place in time with meditation at the wheel. Having a deeper understanding of self can bring back to memory so much that has been lost through time and cautionary tales (I miss saying that...) told by others. I chose not to love in fear, however still counting the things that causes fear and doing my darndest to stay ...

Good video! I agree about changing your vernacular. The way that you speak to both yourself and others is usually as reflection of how you feel inside, and just as your words can affect others, they can effect change in ourselves. A little rewording can help make a situation go from hopeless to hopeful. “I have to go to work,” vs “I get to go to work.” “I can’t get this right,” vs “I haven’t gotten it right yet,” vs “I will get this right next time.” The more we look for the positive, the more we will see the positive.

I love that you’re doing these, and I love where you have found yourself. I will never fully understand what you’re going thru, but I know that there are those out there that do, and if they could hear you speak on it, it would make their lives a little easier to live. Just like that book did for you. Looking forward to the next vid. 😊

I realized that my issue with escape made me feel like I wasn't present with my reality. I thank God that even though I get bored more easily now, I'm no longer in that state of mind, where I needed to escape so that I can exist in the world

Well damn, you already shared my escape. 🙄😂 But real talk, there's no reason you can't enjoy your escape. But I think you equate calling something your "escape" with having something in your life that needs escaping. I personally don't put that much emphasis on the term itself cuz whether it's an escape, a sabbatical, a constitution, a breather, me-time... We all have some version of it. And to quote you, "That's okay!"

I was thinking more about your comment @reydreconus. Can you at least agree that there are some sources of escaping is not healthy? Don't get me wrong, there really is no reason we shouldn't enjoy our "escape", but I'm more thinking about those who may not. Trust, they exist. I can definitely vouch for that one.....

There are many lessons you learn playing video games that are transferable to everyday life. And people tend to focus on a particular your of game (me included), but there's such a variety. You keep doing your thang! One time for the grown folk...
