OBD P019300. I’m an idiot and I’ve broken my A6 Quattro. Carly helped me find what I’ve broken.
Переглядів 1126 місяців тому
While replacing a coolant seal I broke a fuel pressure sensor on one of the fuel rails. A flashing glow plug light and rough running led me to scan the car using Carly and gave me code P109300 which is a fuel pressure sensor. New part number is 05A 906 051. It’s a very easy fix but at €170 for a stupid mistake I dont want to it again. Please like and subscribe if you enjoy the video. Thank you

Glad you posted this Joe, just dropped the ARB off mine and was wondering how to get the inner brackets off. How do you find the purple bushes on the road? I've got to decide which colour bushes to team up with an Ultra Racing 24mm ARB (didnt even know these existed 'til a few weeks back), and hope I can widen the hole nice and cleanly. 😅
Hi. Thanks but how to I remove that net? I got cover off but net I don't see where and want total boot space.
There’s a button/latch on either side of the cartridge that the net is stored in. Just push that and you can remove it altogether and your A6 is now a van
@@Quattro_Joe Thanks but my one actually only slides off, no push buttons on each side, managed today only. Pish button one is just for the boot cover, net cover is separate and slides off to right side but both seats need be down 🙂 Thanks for trying to help, much appreciated.
@@miar600 I could’ve sworn mine had a button I’ll check it again. But happy to hear you got sorted 👍👍

can fit to stock elevent V2 mount? or need different adaptor??
I had a look online I this it’ll for the stock V2 mount.
How much is the price?
Around €100 to €120 👍
Price
You should get another M3 and go back with it
I might just do that. I’ll try talk the wife round to getting an M5. Practicality comes first 🤣🤣
I don't hear diesel sound,so variator is in good shape :)
Yep all good on that end. Engine has good compression too so I’m a happy camper 👍👍
Great video buddy
Thanks very much. Glad you liked it
But it complicates me... I still use my phone. 😢
Looks easy enough. Definitely considering this for the prelude!
does it fit on Linea Tjet
The kit I got was marked for the Punto HGT and the Alfa 147. Check the website for the fitment you need there are plenty of options.
As a proud owner of a regular mk2 Fiat Punto, I'm already liking this video.
Thank you very much I hope you enjoy the videos 👍👍
Is this the Roam V2 or the original?
I think it’s a V2. I’ll check the box and come back to you.
This is on my list after getting the rust sorted on mine 😂
Absolute must Tom. The front of the car is transformed
Original
Head gasket issue possibly
Small bit of engine sweat is all that was.
Same slime appeared with mobil oil. Has something to do with cold starts and the oil cap/tube is far away from heat and condensates that slime. Nothing wrong with headgasket.
Great car i own a punto hgt 2002 abarth and man the fun u have with this car is insane love the vid❤

@@Quattro_Joe i already find it i was Only find one to abarth 500 but Thanks 👍
I have the same Wahoo and FR160. You are not using the proper Wahoo adapter that comes separately the FR160, which is why it doesn't click in nicely, why you have a round scratch on the top of the Raveman caused by rubbing against the Wahoo, and why the two aren't lined up correctly in the same direction. That's exactly how my FR160/Wahoo pair looked before I swapped the proper Wahoo mounts, which you can buy for $3 from Raveman (part no. QTM01). The Garmin and Wahoo mounting systems look similar in design which can be deceiving. They are different in that the Garmin mounting points are much shallower, which is why you will find yourself having to jam the Wahoo computer and twist it HARD just to get it to engage. You're also risking eventually snapping off the mounting bracket on the bottom of your Wahoo, which would be bad
It fits fine on it. I see what you mean about the mark on the light but I can live with that. It’s not very hard to fit of and 5000km later it hasn’t budged either with a need to buy any different bracket. There’s zero chance of the wahoo mount snapping I don’t need to force it at all to fit it
Won’t work with my Elemnt Bolt v2
And won’t connect to the wahoo out front Mount without an adapter also
I know there’s adaptors that can be bought. Is the V2 case a bit bulkier or totally different
I purchased a 1969 Benrus watch. I’m still waiting for it to arrive. Purchased in eBay. Hopefully it’s in a usable condition. Looks just like this.
I didn’t buy a Benrus due to the mental taxes involved when shipping it from the US. Hope it arrives all well they are a lovely watch.
Finally bought one of these for the punto. Looking forward to installing it next week!
Happy days it’s such a good upgrade and supple to fit 👍👍
@@Quattro_Joe It didn't come with instructions though annoyingly.

@@dookieday1 ah sweet. Next lot of mods will include a full polybush kit and maybe some coilovers
@@Quattro_Joe can't wait for that one.
Brings back memories. When Corona hits I drove a stock 1.2 8v Punto facelift on the Nordschleife for 100+ laps for 2 years. It helped a lot to learn the track in and out and drive it cleaner as there was way less traffic. I always said if it breaks it breaks but it never did. Was absolutely sending it. Engine was very reliable. Sold it end of 2022 and got something faster.
100 + laps in a Punto. That’s commendable sir. I bet you know the track very well after that. I’ve got some more mods to go on which should improve my track driving experience. I’ll be at Mondello park this summer to get a little better at track driving
@@Quattro_Joe It did indeed helped learn the track more. I knew the track only from games. I knew where to go but in games the elevation and many blind crest you don't have in games. Driving with such a slow car speeds like that helped a lot. Like getting used to the g forced and elevation. Helped me to drive cleaner. In 2023 I mostly only drove in the wet and spectated more. When the track is dry the traffic is way to much. Mods should help like coilovers, good tires etc for the punto. Never drove Mondello but you are from the UK right? You got many amazing tracks over there that are perfect for the punto. Don't sleep on them. I am planning on building a tracktool around july if I have time. Then also visit many UK tracks.
@@fabz_______1242 I’m not from the UK I’m from Ireland. Try not to confuse the 2 😂😂. I felt o was able to enjoy my drive more due to the car being relatively slow. If I’d had an M3 or R32 skyline both of which I’ve previously owned, then the lap Would’ve been a bit scarier.
@@Quattro_Joe Oh I thought you are from England mb 😂 Actually my favorite rally driver comes from Ireland. Love Irish Rallying. Yeah but with a slow car on the nordschleife and in the summer there are so many cars that you can't really drive a clean line because you constantly getting overtaken by porsche and bmw's and have to move over. Only way you could get lucky to get a more free track is when you are there at 8 am when the track opens or drive a trackday. Something around atleast 180 hp will be better with a full track setup.
I just took mine apart and there isn't a center screw. weird
I just knocked it out gently with one of the screws and then was able to adjust
Is there a catch or some pins you could remove instead of a screw
Just picked up a C7.5. Great little guide, thank you. How can turn the radio off but still listen to the satnav? Drove me nuts yesterday trying to get out of a city centre
I’m pretty sure if you just tap the volume dial in the centre console it’ll mute the radio but not the nav. I’ll check that out to confirm
Used to own the car a few years back. Would u sell it ?
I would if the money was right. I’ve done a lot of work to it since I got it. Have a look through the videos and see what you think. I have a figure in my head as to what it’s worth so maybe we can come to a deal. I’ve also a few parts here I haven’t fitted that will go With the car should I sell it
@@Quattro_Joe Yeah I’ve seen the videos i never really drove the car and neither did the guy i bought it from we both just had it in the shed for years
@@Johnyyryan123 I use it on the weekends and did that road trip to Germany. Brilliant little car. It needed a few things when I got it but it’s running like a dream now. Where are you living.
Have u got a Facebook account?
30,000km or 2 years seems waaaay too long a service interval. What are Renault playing at recommending that jaysus
I absolutely agree. Im 15k or 12 months for any daily driver religiously. 5k intervals for a car you might track occasionally as well as change all the other fluids every year. Boiling brake fluid is no fun 🤣🤣
Does it have hall or club affects dsp ?
Yes is has Xplod, jazz, and other settings plus a fully custom one

I love that high rev sound of this car. Good vid.
Thanks very much. I’m doing some Upgrades at the moment but I’ll be doing some driving video with some drive by sound clips soon so keep an eye on the channe for those
But it does connect to the mount if you flip it over how do you remove that attachment
Yes it connects to both mounts I have. I currently have the Orbea aero mount fitted and that works with it I also have the original Wahoo mount and that works fine also. I’ll try dig out the wahoo mount and I’ll make a short showing it all fitted up.to remove that attachment it’s simply 2 screws that I’ve shown here. Keep an eye on the shorts on my channel. I’ll have it up in a few hours. Cheers

@@Quattro_Joe haha stress level is GREAT 🔥💰 It’s been pretty good so far, I’m going to be pulling codes this week so we’ll see how I feel at the end 😂
@@Project40Cars may I suggest a bottle of Jameson Black barrel, that’ll fix your stress levels 🤣🤣 Get a Carly OBD tool. I got one with the VAG and Fiat subscription. It’s brilliant for diagnostics and coding. I’d imagine it’ll be priceless working on that Porsche.
this is not ok, this is to much oil inside. Ok is little bit unter Full. Read Manual...
6.3 litres of oil in the engine after a change if I remember correctly. The oil level is correct.
That design aged so well! I think it's the prettiest B-segment car ever built. Anyhow... I bet this very car has got wayyy more miles on it than the tach says, unless it was driven by extremely 'heavy' people who never ever cleaned it... or their own hands.
The tach is actually spot on. It spent 6 years in a lock up until I rescued it. I had a friend in Fiat check the milage on it when I grabbed parts one day. I tought the seat looked like it had 150,000 on it but apparently they go like that. The foam is shit quality. I love how this looks, it’s so well proportioned. Sounds great too.
@@Quattro_Joe I had a Punto 188b Sporting for 17 years, over 340000 km on it when I gave it away 😥... and the interior looked a whole lot better. Only the driver's seat was a bit roughed up at the edge under the clutch-leg. But yeah, I'm fairly light-weight. And the "I don't want to clean it, so I'm not gonna let it get dirty"-attitude probably helped, too. Yes, the 1.8 is a punchy engine, although a bit thirsty by today's standards, and the phase-shifter (don't know the appropriate English word) needs to be taken care of on a regular basis.
@@YTOnceAgain cam variator I think it’s called. It was done on this around 10k ago so the car pulls great. I have zero idea what fuel economy I’m getting as I dont daily this but it’s far better to drive than most of its modern counterparts. They’re all turbocharged, most have cylinder engines and none of them sound anything like this with its twin cam na engine. The modern 500 Abarth is pretty good to drive as is the polo GTI but the fiesta is rubbish. Sounds rubbish with no treeing feel. Good seats in it but that’s about it. I much prefare small fast cars from the 2000’s the HGT, 106gti and any of the Renaultsport Clio’s from that era are far more rewarding to drive
@@YTOnceAgain 340,000 that’s quite impressive. It’s a credit to you and the upkeep of the car.
