Wrong. Diesel definitely IS flammable. Just has a higher flashpoint.
What kind of moron claims CAT never made a V8 ???? Apparently there is no hope for decontaminating the gene pool. 😂😂😂😂
Back in like the 90s, we used to use diesel fuel as wood sealer for decks, etc.
Try with Benzine
The wick part i learned today
Oh yeah, its the hose clamp key that makes it a cat😂 (yes i know its a cat, but the hoseclamp key wil fit literaly any hoseclamp with the same size screw)
This is how cartoon logic works when there is scene involving fire
And people used to drop their jaws when I was cleaning parts with diesel whilst smoking
I work on these all the time in older cat forklifts
Diesel is non flammable? Don't believe that!
My dads 38 foot luhrs had 2 3208's It would cruise at 34 knots burning 8 gallons an hour, super cheap to run.
Enything is fixelbal the question is how much time/money you what to throw on it
Not saying your lying but that only proves it's the same size as the key
If I’m not mistaken, this is the flammable versus inflammable thing. Diesel fuel is flammable. Gasoline is inflammable.
If that was gasoline, id be giving God high fives
Was the last thing he said
the gas it emits is though
Ford owners tryna justify their piles
Damn shit got me hungry
Mix the two if you want your burn pile to get hotter than the sun
Motor? Lock? Which one breaks first
Gasoline is not flammable, the fumes are. Learning this about gasoline (and diesel) was mind blowing.
No shit lol
You mean, "guzzolene."
fun fact, gasoline it’s only flammable but not explosive. If it were gasoline, it would burst into flames yea, but I don’t think it would react the same as a lighter being thrown into a fire pit 🤔 correct me if I’m wrong ! 😉 I’m interested to know
This is why its okay to smoke ur ciggy while refueling the construction equipment👌🏻
Put 50/50and see what hapend😅
I havent seen anyone say that they dont make v8’s
So?
Bros not even wrong tho 😂
Soooo u telling me that those explosions in trucks were not real !??🥲 like when they shoot the tank. Boomer 😔
That is a cat v8 for sure....your yellow painted powerstroke was indefinitely not a cat engine....wow the key tightens up standard hose clamps yep that proves everything 😂
Gasoline isnt flammable
Diesel is not flammable at 1 atmosphere. Increase the temp and the pressure and it is flammable and has more BTU's than gasoline.
Now, for your next video, let's see if jet fuel can burn through industrial Grade steel beams 😅
what does "flash point of diesel" mean?
Yup! It has a higher flash point hence combustible not flammable.
Show us what will happen if it were gasoline
Don't try checking the level of diesel in a tank with that lighter bub. I know people that have had fire meet them half way. You get diesel hot enough it will ignite at a distance. I've seen static set off diesel fuel. This information you're putting out is dangerous.
Better remember the flash point of you try to use fuel to put out gas flash point of diesel fuel is 175 degrees f
Works great on brush piles
Near 300,000 km
What's the difference between diesel and gasoline?
Gasoline isnt flamable either. The fumes of gas when mixed with oxygen creates a flammable mixture, but you can put a cigarette into a gas can or pour gas over a candle and it wont explode.
Mix it with some ammonium nitrate and see what happens.
this is peak misinformation. Diesel DOES catch fire, though it typically takes a much higher temperature to do so. A simple google search shows it to catch fire at a flash point of 125*-180*. Just because gasoline lights up at basically any temperature except frozen, doesnt mean diesel CANT, and more importantly, WONT catch fire, is extremely irresponsible.
Technically you can put out a fire the same way he did in gasoline because as a liquid it doesn't burn it's the vapor.
So what I am hearing is if somehow my gas lights on fire when filling up, pull the diesal pump out and smother it? Fighting gas with gas.
As we lose more master machinist that rebuild engines and can rebuild engine without fancy machines, all their knowledge built over a lifetime lost to the sands of time
I was broke af in college and would park on a hill for 3 months because I couldn't afford a starter
