I just want to know one thing: Why do all of these tutorials create their styles (already) and then tell you how to make a TOC? I need to know how you created the styles. Please help!
Hi, I have a separate video on that! Check out my video on how to create paragraph styles and character styles :) Hope it helps!
Thank you so much ❤️
Thanks very useful.. one question.. how can we set the bullet long numbers like an example.. 5.11.1, 5.11.2, 5.11.3, 5.11.4
Thanks so much for this - really helpful and easy to follow!
Deborah.
Great instruction, but the screen was so little I had a hard time seeing the words/commands that were being clicked on. Zooming in would be helpful, as it is right now, there's a lot of screen real state that's wasted because the action is focused on such tiny parts of the whole. (I know, I'm old and blind, but surely I'm not the only one?).
All basic info from your teacher...No info to fix something. Your title has 'resizing images' in it. No info on how to resize an low resolution to a higher one... Thanks anyway.
Hi, it sounds like you’re looking for “upsampling”. This is not a recommended technique, but is possible. I’d suggest using that as your search term, and you’ll find plenty of examples on how to upsample. Hope this helps
You are a GOD. Thank you thank you thank you
Thank you for the kind comment! Im glad you found the video useful :D
Is it somehow possible to make something like paragraph styles but already with title and body in one? For example if I have some "text box" consisting of a title and a body can I aply style to that?
Yes, you can! You can create nested styles, which allow styles to build upon one another with advanced settings. I will try to make a video on this if I make the time!
love it thanks xoxo really helped me pic up indesign
Glad I could help! :D
Would have been great if you would have included HOW you moved the images out to the bloodline for we beginners..
Hi! You click and drag to move images. Hope this helps!
Brillaint video thank you.
You are so welcome! Thank you for the kind comment :)
thank you so much for the help, and for getting straight to the point!
You are so welcome! Thanks for commenting, I’m glad it helped :D

I appreciate you watching! Thank YOU for taking the time to leave a kind comment :)
What if you wanted to do it with two fonts in one?. I tried to follow the steps but it only took one type.
Hi Bri, do you have a specific example? Like you’re trying to make the first word in a paragraph one font, and have the second word be another font!
Incredible voice. If you're up for it, you might try voice acting.
Oh my gosh, that is so kind of you to say! Thank you so much
so good information thanks!😀😀
My pleasure! Thanks for the kind comment! :)
Your voice is good for teaching and also to soothe
Thank you so much! Hope you have an amazing day!
I'm facing a problem while doing this. the format design of both the left and right pages is different so when I try to move the right page to the left, it creates this overlap of elements (that exists on the left page) underneath the page that I moved. can you please help me? I'm not sure what's going on
Hi! Can you post a link to a video showing your issue? That would help me to better see the problem you're having so I can troubleshoot
Great video thanks!
You are so welcome! Sorry for my delayed response. I hope you are doing great :D

Hi Jessica, thanks for this beginners bootcamp. Great stuff. I’m here to make a correction on the keyboard shortcut to copy all layers and merge them together. This is introduced in your video at around the 15:25 mark. You did attempt to correct yourself regarding the difference between Mac and PC. However, in your clarification, you mention the Command key for both platforms. Windows does not have a Command key. Depending on the keyboard you are using, the Command and Alt keys are the same (I'm using a Logitech MX keys keyboard that has both Mac and Windows layouts). Given that there is no Command key, I believe that for Windows users, the keyboard shortcut is Ctrl + Alt + Shift + E, not Cmd + Ctrl + Shift + E.
Thank you so much for taking the time to clarify and correct! I appreciate the support

James, thank you for all your support 😂
If a "designer" doesn't know the difference between leading and paragragh spacing-they are not a designer. This is design 101. You litteraly learn this in the first semester.
Hi @whiskyo, thank you for taking the time to comment! I would respectfully disagree that someone is not a designer if they don't know difference between leading and paragraph spacing (although it is very helpful to learn) I've met and worked with some incredibly talented designers that are still learning a lot of design terms. Many of them were self taught, or did not have a formal education, but this didn't make them any less successful in the field. Even without knowing the terms, the designers have been skilled in other design areas such as creating strong compositions, illustrations, building dynamic layouts, etc. We are all always, learning, growing, and getting even better as designers
you are a diva
Thanks for the comment, @bruno!
I was forgetting, you have a pretty voice!
