Spike at his best 😂
Fantastic 👌
I thank the Lord I grew up in a world with Spike Milligan in it.
Poor Alan was well past his prime here.
Alan White Will Be Great Missed by Many just like Chris Squire !!! Hope they are Both Playing (Little Drummer Boy) together in Heaven !!!
Favorite song by OCS!! Cheers for the upload
I was there at the Paramount to see this. I cried for a week when Neil Peart passed but mourn everyday about Alan. I air drummed most of the Yes concert three weeks or so after this tribute. Yes has been my favorite since I was 13 in 1977. I currently play in a band that Alan had played with several times. Eventually I’ll get the opportunity to play a song Alan created the drum parts for. I wish I would have the opportunity to meet Alan. ❤❤❤

Drama uno de los mejores álbum de Yes. Muchas gracias por compartir saludos desde Lima Perú.
One of my favourites thanks for the upload x
Dysentery is no joke, . . . .ho ho heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee ho po.
I've seen this a few times and can just about make out what he's saying.
That's a fantastic concert hall
Not 'Yes'
One of my fave Yes tunes. Trevor Horn era was magnificent
Jack Hobbs was a dear friend of mine and family friend, great jazz pianist too, always laughing and full of fun. I miss him. He taught a lot about the history of jazz. He kept a piano in my foster dads garage.....
Wonderful stuff! God bless him.
I'm currently reading about Jack Hobbs in Spike's long-suffering agent & manager Norma Farnes' book....!!!
Písnička candy od robí ho williamse se mě moc líbí a je krásná 🏁🍓🍎🎇🎆💋🤗☺️🥳🤩🤩🤩
Génial
I've heard this story a hundred times and it still makes me laugh out loud.
That was fantastic, thanks for the upload.
Great tune , we went the liverpool gig and they didnt play it 😭
I enjoyed the show I was there I think I can here myself singing
My favourite song of all time.
Been listening to yes since the very first album and if it isn't Rick Wakeman John Anderson Steve Howe Alan white and Chris squire then I'm sorry it's not yes I don't care how good the sound is I think they should kind of sit back and rest on what they have I know they want to play music but they can do it without being yes
What a horrible hack job of a classic YES tune.
I had the misfortune of bumping into this idiot in Lindos what a Pratt he just spoke jibberish. At one point the police came to see if he was alright later he got carted away
Unrelated: Yes and ELP were the beginnings of my admittedly limited appreciation of “classical” music - the finale from Firebird especially.
Very similar to a Gervais joke about his mate shatting himself prior to a job interview. Lost count of how many times modern comedians I like take inspiration from the comedians I grew up with and I don't twig till watching things like this again. Its a great way to honour the legends they obviously admire also.
Without Spike and his own offbeat interpretation of the world, we would not have 99% of the comedians who have followed him.
I for one... If you had mistaken that I for a one you might need to get your eye tested.
Maravilloso genial LOVE
Weirdest thing...was on a pre -op stretcher waiting to be taken into the operating room for labral repair and subacromial decompression (repair shoulder impingement)...btw...they inserted three anchors (thin rods) into my shoulder bone with sutures attached as a way of sewing up the labrum.... When I received a news notification on my cellphone... Yes drummer Alan White dead at 72... I thought...NO WAY!...this fn sux! being a lifelong Yes freak...as we were called back in the 1970's... First Chris...now Alan...turned out to be the truth..the "core" of Yes to me was Chris, Steve and Alan...no disrespect to Jon Anderson...love his voice and lyrics and his spirit to death...but musically and instrument ally....the core of Yes are the 3 members cited... Didn't matter at that point about my surgery....was more concerned about Alan's family, friends and fans...was very upset that Alan had died.. Great drummer..greater human being...met him at Pechanga Casino in Temecula, CA in 2013, in one of the bars there the afternoon of the show..sat down next to him and during the course of each of us imbibing on a beer..I said to him I that I am a big fan and saw Yes for the first time live in 1976 at Roosevelt Stadium in Jersey City, NJ...and he kidded me that that was a long time ago and I must be "old" (was 53 then, just turned 62 last Friday and honestly I don't look or feel 50 years old thank the Lord) and we just got talking about musicians, and the industry general and certain musicians in particular for about 20 minutes... Just as importantly, Alan White entertained me and enthraled me with his drumming knowledge and prowess and his story telling of days remembered fondly... As a top drummer in the rock world, Alan will always be honored, appreciated and respected for his drumming style, subtlety, dexterity, ability to change on the fly, progressive outlook, as well as his raw aggressive power... . For 45 plus years, Alan was the heartbeat of and the driving force behind Yes... Alan always described Yes music and compositions as "looking over the horizon..."... I COULDN'T AGREE WITH HIM MORE....
I wish Steve would play harmonica in just one song. He's so good.
nice version. it took many years for me to like this song, but it has become one of my favorites. i prefer the versions between 2000 and 2003 with just guitarsolo. less jazzy impro and more strange guitarsounds. but that's me... looking forward to next spring when he comes to germany.
For fook sake, can't they hear that keyboard man is not deserve his paycheck???
Comedians put on this front and behind the facade is where the depression lies. It readily takes the form of humour.
