Why are villains romanticized?
Переглядів 1,7 тис.4 місяці тому
Why are villains and morally flawed individuals so alluring to humans? In this video, I attempt to answer that question. Both fictional characters and historical figures, despite being perceived as blatantly evil by most, have managed to attract thousands or even millions of people. What is the true reason behind this phenomenon? Let's find out. I do not own the clips featured in this video. Th...

“Serial Experiments Lain” is a pretty wacky anime, and to be honest I didn’t really even like it! But it does raise some interesting questions related to our lives. It seems so many concepts discussed in the anime are reflected in our current era. It doesn’t even feel like a warning, it is just blatantly shown that technology has the capacity to destroy us. This series was released right as the...

Zeno was holding back for sure. He just doesn't want to destroy the whole building full of his clients. His power is so destructive just see what he did to Meruem's palace. The only condition i can see Chrollo winning is if he have some broken abilities in his book.

Ik this sounds mad but i think he will be in Scream 7 because Scream 5 copys og scream and scream 6 copys Scream 2 and in scream 3 Roman revealed he influenced Billy to kill. So i think Stu will be ghostface in scream 7 and he influenced Amber to kill because she said she was influenced too.

This was explained in the story. She was shopping for a surprise gift for John. I swear some of you guys just miss the fine details in this game, which is really sad to me. Because the small details is what makes this game. Look closer, listen closer, and try to decipher or get to the bottom of ever line of dialogue along the way. That’s the way I feel like this game was meant to be played. Story is amazing in its own entirety but the little secrets and cool stuff you find inbetween is awesome. You’ll be shocked at some of the stuff you can find. From Dino bones to ghosts

the movie isn't about existentialism. it's about a penguin that surfs as an allegory of subversively presenting a cynical gatekeeper's response to the commercialism explosion of the late 90's and early 00's in extreme sports. just because the movie makes a good example of presenting the themes of existentialism in a dictionary definition way complete with archaic philosophys does not make it a movie ABOUT existentialism. really this whole video essay has a fundamental misunderstanding of the subject matter and the artistic choices used to portray that subject's message. also like 90% of it is focused on the first 14min of the movie.this video essay is equivalent to writing a novel of a comment after watching the first 2min of a 10min youtube video.

I’m hardly Tony’s biggest fan. I imagine we’ll share a few criticisms. But sidelining Stane and not acknowledging Venko aren’t among them. Stane didn’t need to step aside for a 18 y.o. kid. Probably just played more golf for a few years, let that genius rack up stock dividends until its usefulness faded. And I’m pretty sure Tony hadn’t seen the original plans and didn’t know about Venko. Tony’s disrespectful. Of almost everyone, unless they measure up to some standard not even Cap continually exceeded. In some ways he respects Banner more as a big green rage monster than a scientist. Banner understands unintended consequences in a very personal way, tries to counsel restraint. Tony never quite catches on to the notion until around endgame. His disregard helps spawn several villains, particularly to Peter Parker’s later regret. But if he hadn’t been a dick to Killian, chances are he wouldn’t have become a villain. If Ton hadn’t immediately turned to monopolize and exploit the invasion wreckage, Damage Control wouldn’t have put Vulture in his financial bind… If he hadn’t insulted Mysterio’s work by calling it BARF… I’ve got a whole thing about him in Civil War. It’s one reason I consider it the worst written of the MCU movies, basically coasting on the greatness of Winter Soldier. But only one of many reasons. He was a terrible mentor for Spider-Man. That’s without even getting into the ethics and legality of involving him in Civil War in the first place. Peter was effectively a super powered child soldier. He foisted Pete on Happy, didn’t communicate with him, then acted all high and mighty when the rudderless kid got into trouble. But, to be honest, it’s not Tony I dislike. I think he’s a great character. He’s someone no one should like but everyone likes anyway. I just wish we had more discussion around what kind of character he is.
