This video is SO informative and helpful for anyone in boot camp or considering coding (like me). Thank you so much for sharing!
What bootcamp did you go to?
Not true, I know Senior devs who can't even get any interview off LinkedIn. The tech market is total trash right now , and most companies are posting ghost jobs
Does anyone recommend TripleTen or NGT Academy?
Thanks for the video this is really helpful.
lmao it's usually my left peach cheek
lmao, it's usually me too
After a 10 year career in the music industry I decided to switch to a career in data science. I’ll finish my coursera data science program at the end of this month and then I start bootcamp next month. Having a background as a music industry professional, does it help to go for data science jobs that are related to my past experience, as well as other data science jobs? Love your channel!Your videos helped me decide to go to boot camp 😊
this vid made me emotional thinking about all the work i have to put in🥲🥲
Loved this video super informative and polished 🙌
@@wack9306 thank you :)
This video is amazing! Thank you!
Nice video but based on the title i was really searching for help as to how to sell everything. The title is a bit misleading. The video covered very little on the subject matter.
I sold everything through FB marketplace, craigslist, and offer up! Just take nice photos, monitor prices and drop them if you're not selling, taking cash only is also usually a good idea. Let me know if you have any more questions! Selling things wasn't too hard because I had a finite amount of space in the car. Everything else either had to be sold or donated. Tough to part with some of it but worth it in the long run :)
When
What? How? Who, perhaps?
Great 👍🏽 advice
mmm
I do this a lot and do not plan to stop
True do
Jim Carrey????
Good afternoon, good evening, and good night!
I guess they figured it out all on their own and the new generation should do.
my tech lead is 26 years old
What is jim carrey up to now?
Writing bad code
That’s not supposed to be there!!
Well at least it wasn't missing a semicolon
Best reply
Ay that was good
After 4 hours of coding i fin ah lee, fin ah lee, fin ah lee, pass the dutchie on the left hand side. I say
A man of culture
Winamp?
I mean it's our job! Hahaha
Can you recommend me the most flexible bootcamp that will not cost an arm and a leg? I do live in nyc and i don’t mind learning from home or going to a class as i have a job that allows me to be flexible
Hello there! I am also from NYC and just finished TripleTen bootcamp. Not sure what an arm and a leg for you would be, but their SE program is around $9700 right now. I have a 30% referral coupon if you would be interested in joining them.
Bummer this is a dead channel. liked the vids so far.
@@rdmercer Not dead yet but the channels definitely in rehab lol - been an insane few months and I have a LOT to update y’all on. We’re not even done with phase 1 yet 👀
This guy does Adderall
I wish lmao
Do you recommend TripleTen?
I’m waiting for the same answer
@@trustambitions2064 I figured a great place out. Coursera. Check it out.
I just graduated this program. If anyone wants to go the bootcamp route, i highly recommend them. It is self paced, and they have tutoring sessions on a daily basis, as well as a discord community helping you with any question you have, or when you get stuck. I have a 30% referral discount code if anyone is interested in joining them, until the end of the year.
@@6ent1 hi! Do you mind sharing your code?
@@6ent1hi! im interested, i’m 17 turning 18 soon. the job market is insane and i believe this will help me get my foot in the door
Honestly, I did not expect to have some good advices from the video
@@adamf5018 glad it could help! feel free to reach out if you have any specific questions :)
@@JackCalvinRoss hello Jack thank you for your response. I just discovered your channel and I’m going through your videos, but I was wondering if you have a favorite website for Bootcamp for data analytics jobs?
step 1 bring a bike
Dude shut up genuinely people have their preferences in transport
Shut it peasent, people have their own choice of transport
what bootcamp did you do. I am having a hard time finding the right bootcamp
And how exactly should this work with dialects that have written words even native speakers cant always read?
This is a super interesting (and important) problem that a few people I know are trying to solve over at the Endangered Languages Project. Hoping to see some big breakthroughs in this space in the next few years!
Great so apple is storing all our text messages on a datacenter somewhere in the name of "generative learning" wonderful
but we're on ios 18?

What I find with chatgpt it has limited set of data you can feed it then it start forgetting the previous data.
RAG is how you can get around this! Will put up a tutorial soon on implementing it via the OpenAI API!
@@JackCalvinRoss awesome I’m looking forward to it
Not moving back with parents - ever 😂 .. great video. Very well organized
Thank you!
I gotta tell ya, I appreciate you for having made this video and I was about 1 inch from signing up for a coding boot camp myself but it sounds like beyond too much work so off to trade school I guess lol. That or really push myself to do this without paying a boot camp.
Community college has comp sci courses
Hello sir I recently completed my Secondary Education and want to become a good coder and wanted good package in future so I choose data scientist as a whole field would you guide me to crack job of 100k$ in 2 to 3 year I hope you suggest me right guidance
Hey Brow! nice video! what software you are using for the animations?
The most appropriate response I can think to this video is, Good for you! 👏🏿
Jack, freaking AWESOME content. I've spent the last 6 months beefing up my data analyst skills--sql, tableau, excel, power bi, & python. But I've really been struggling to land a job. Your video did an excellent job highlighting the areas I need to strengthen and teaching me about tools to use that I didn't know about. Thank you for the great content you're putting out! 🙏🥳 Really appreciate it!
So glad to hear it! Feel free to reach out if you ever have any specific questions. Good luck on the job search - you got this 🔥
Loved this video. One of the best I've seen on this subject/content. Very engaging. Now a follower.
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching :)

Hey Jack, I just dropped out of community college and have nearly zero experience in coding, but i have 4 days a week off to learn how to code. I want to make this a reality. My question is what bootcamps did you complete?
Go back to college seriously do an online program this is the same job market as 2020-2022, resumes are getting thrown out if you don’t have CS or related degrees, let a lone a regular college one
I’m too old and too tired in retirement, but I’m doing it anyway!
Would love to know how you are doing it. Want to hear from others 50+ female and with limited money to see if this is even doable now. I missed my opportunity 10 year ago and here I am wondering if I should just do it now. I did travel the world, just differently as I worked
This video is so incredibly polished, kudos.
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed it :)
It goes to show that college isn't necessary for success, and more and more people are beginning to see this. There are a wide variety of ways to learn besides a traditional college, and these alternatives are often much better.
