I gotta tell ya, I appreciate you for having made this video and I was about 1 inch from signing up for a coding boot camp myself but it sounds like beyond too much work so off to trade school I guess lol. That or really push myself to do this without paying a boot camp.
Hello sir I recently completed my Secondary Education and want to become a good coder and wanted good package in future so I choose data scientist as a whole field would you guide me to crack job of 100k$ in 2 to 3 year I hope you suggest me right guidance
Hey Brow! nice video! what software you are using for the animations?
The most appropriate response I can think to this video is, Good for you! 👏🏿
Jack, freaking AWESOME content. I've spent the last 6 months beefing up my data analyst skills--sql, tableau, excel, power bi, & python. But I've really been struggling to land a job. Your video did an excellent job highlighting the areas I need to strengthen and teaching me about tools to use that I didn't know about. Thank you for the great content you're putting out! 🙏🥳 Really appreciate it!
So glad to hear it! Feel free to reach out if you ever have any specific questions. Good luck on the job search - you got this 🔥
Loved this video. One of the best I've seen on this subject/content. Very engaging. Now a follower.
Welcome aboard! Thanks for watching :)

Hey Jack, I just dropped out of community college and have nearly zero experience in coding, but i have 4 days a week off to learn how to code. I want to make this a reality. My question is what bootcamps did you complete?
I’m too old and too tired in retirement, but I’m doing it anyway!
This video is so incredibly polished, kudos.
Thank you! Hope you enjoyed it :)
It goes to show that college isn't necessary for success, and more and more people are beginning to see this. There are a wide variety of ways to learn besides a traditional college, and these alternatives are often much better.
Awesome
Amazing, tks for the tips! Definitely worth the subscription!
2:56 absolutely false. the difference is one is reading an instruction manual and the other is creating the instruction manual.
Im few months before starting a bootcamp and just found your channel. Thanks for the tips man! Looking forward checking the rest of the videos. 🫡
That's great to hear - good luck on the bootcamp! I'm always around so let me know if you have any questions! You got this!!
I know you sold all your things, but we'd love a skating update.
Didn’t sell the skateboards :) might have to make another skate video soon but there’s a foot of snow on the ground right now haha! Will definitely try to work skating back into my videos somehow though!
Cool video

Hey Jack, thanks for sharing! Would you mind sharing the bootcamp you joined? Is it good? Thanks!
Very helpful. Thank you for your insight and advice. I actually used a similar method to stop smoking cigarettes. I basically tricked myself into thinking I had already smoked a butt and I don't need to light a second one. I have an actual list of steps to take for this to work. Anyway, I am a pro at procrastination and/or not knowing what to do first. Also, goal setting is rough for me. I will watch some more of your videos and hopefully help myself to achieve a more productive lifestyle. I want to say that you are doing a great thing by helping others. Keep up the great work. Thank you.
That's awesome you were able to quit smoking - tricking yourself into doing/not doing things really can be powerful when you find a system that works for you. Thanks so much for your comment and the kind words - really means a lot! :)

You forgot to mention your Health Dental & Accident Insurance Carriers & how to get...
Experiences you won't remember when you're old & ur Memory fails 😖
In other words, companies are not looking for jr software developer they're looking for jr product managers who know how to code
That's a great way of framing it! Product knowledge is so important to these companies and they'll be much more inclined to hire you if you know a lot about their products and how your code can make them better.
Is the model still “learn first, and pay after landing a job”? It doesn’t seem to be the case anymore judging from the website. It seems as if it’s more of a 3-weeks free first then pay if it seems like a fit. Any insight into this?
That is still the motto as far as I know - just checked the website to confirm. You can pay upfront and it's a few thousand dollars cheaper but you can also do deferred tuition where you won't be billed until (and if) you land a job.
@@JackCalvinRossYes I saw the info, and understand how it works. The deferred payment is really a loan upfront, but not to be payed back until afterwards, landing a job or some time after that if one is more interested in putting the knowledge to a business or endeavor of self-employment. Still a good deal even though it's a loan one has to be approved for. Thanks for answering and thanks for the video. Cheers and God bless!
About to start a cloud engineering bootcamp. Though it is not code heavy, the points made in your video still apply. Thank you for this!
Good luck on the cloud bootcamp!
Hey Jack. I'm coming out of my bootcamp, and these are some solid advice. Thank you!

I'm convinced that if you can talk fast then you are in.
Stress enhancing mindset sounds really cool - basically changing your relationship with stress changes your perspective toward it, thereby, changing the way you react/ respond to it! The other two are spoken about in other spaces too, but not too many people speak about this Stess Enhancing bit. Thank you!
Thanks so much for your comment! I loooove talking about stress is enhancing mindset - it's crazy how changing how you think about things can literally impact your physical health (or even increase your lifespan!!). I would bet this idea goes even deeper than stress! Will maybe do a deep dive video on this soon :) Thank you for watching!
Awesome tips. Thanks!! I'm "old" and re-inventing myself. Currently in a Coding class but its not bootcamp per se. I'm hoping my age is not a problem.
That’s awesome!! You’re going to crush it regardless of age - I graduated with students that were 50+ and they’re now working in the industry! Good luck man!
Thanks! That's good to know. As a former teacher, I'm thinking maybe I can teach kids how to code. Just an idea right now. BTW, I'm the girl in that picture😄😜@@JackCalvinRoss

Finally, I found a potential mega UA-cam channel before it blew up! Hi Jack, I'll be on your page A LOT😂😂
You rock, thank you! :)
Awesome video man and i also the appreciate the editing.
Thank you for watching :) really appreciate it!
I remember the school I went to used to constantly preach about growth mindset, and honestly I just rolled my eyes and didn't take it all that seriously. Just seemed like the typical corny school propaganda. But nowadays, I'm realising how true it is as I'm tackling things I'm not "naturally" good at and kinda wish I let school help me in being a more positive person as a teen. Oh well, can only go forward.
Editing is top tier
I been depressed so long my mind sabotages my own growth. My own mind tricks me and i dont even know whats real or not. Its frustrating
Hang in there man - I’ve been there too and it’s definitely tough but it won’t last forever. You’re capable of more than you know, believe in yourself! ❤️
@@JackCalvinRoss yeah I'm fully aware of everything. It's like I'm sitting back and just watching someone else do the motions. And no matter how many times I scream at it it doesn't change. I also have adhd witch doesn't help alot. Wasn't diagnosed till 32. it's inattentive adhd. It will get better. It's just getting harder and harder the more I age. But thank you. These videos do help to some extent.
So good!
Such an underrated channel. Great video, keep the good stuff coming!
Thank you :) Just getting started!
your editing skills are really improving
He probably hired one. They all doing it these days. Not enough time
I'm developing my abundance mindset. I find it helpful to relinquish any available resources to fund the current mission. Somehow, you always find more resources for later. Beautiful presentation, Jack

Hi jack Ive been loving playing with data in python but I have no idea where to practice and what to learn and improve. Can you do videos on that? I also like you sharing your personal journey through this new career
That’s awesome to hear! I have a video on my channel called “How to Become a Data Analyst (If I Could Start Over)” that gives some tips on where to start and how to progress! Hope it helps and good luck with the learning journey - always here to help if you have any questions!
great ideas yet I still don't understand the ghost done
A "Ghost of Done" is exactly what this video is! I had an idea, put in the work, SHARED IT ONLINE (this part is crucial) and now this video will live on forever for anyone to find.
