A thick slab put unnecessary weight on the columns. For a residential project there are better ways of achieving strength and quality while keeping cost down.

Nice work! Pls how big is this land?
I installed Solar 4G CCTV camera on site, when one of my water tank was stolen. You will get notification when it detect movement.
I had windows, burglar proof with iron rods, top notch security doors from turkey that can’t be broken into. The fence wall and main gate with locks, still my wires worth 20k gone just this Wednesday. Is disheartening. Is always an insider

You Definitely Need A Security Man Staying There. Those Ghanaian Criminals Don't Care About CCTV. Also Put A Street Light In The Yards To Light Up The Place At Night 🌙 Many Of Us That Are Living In USA 🇺🇸 And Other Part Of The World Are Working So Hard For Them To Be Stealing.
Hello everyone, I am Kofi, the owner of Project Kofi. A month ago I was in Ghana to inspect my project and I was blown away with the quality of the work PND Construction has done. You see, I don't live in Ghana and have never met Prince and Nikki but I took a leap of faith to send him money to start my project after answering a simple question whether he is a God fearing man. I do not have a single issue with what they have done. Actually the borehole company head asked me if I was building a 5 storey house due to the quality and strength of the pillars he saw. I can assure you guys that this is a company that is based on integrity and customer satisfaction. As I said I have never met Prince and Nikki but I sent them large sums of money for my project and they did not disappoint. I will recommend PND Construction to any diasporan who wants to build in Ghana but is hesitant due to not finding the right person or developer for their project. I think the days of "I sent money and they chopped my money" is over. PND Construction is the real deal!!
I wholeheartedly endorse this statement. The entire team takes pride in delivering high-quality service.
Good Morning Kofi what a wonderful feedback to wake up to. Thank you for your kind words. It’s been a pleasure to date to help you and your family build your home. “Each one of us can make a difference, Together we can make change”. 😀
Thank you N ! We’re pleased to be building for you at Project Royal View
Thank you for sharing
Thanks for watching Foxy
They steal and then leave you with other damages for you to deal with. Very disheartening. Sorry for that. The ECG delays also helps breed corruption. If you should grease someone's palmit will be done the very next day. Sorry for your loss. Lessons learnt
For the freestanding boundary wall it is not a good idea b/c it compromises the bond to the foundation. Anyone can test this (not my opinion). Do two courses of blocks with DPC and come back a week later and kick and see what happens to the two courses above the DPC. They are not bonded, so it works by weight, and houses where the corner structures secure everything in place. You cannot use it everywhere. I personally would like an alternative like a liquid or bitsum products that binds to the blocks.
Very few discuss DPC, especially those American channels. I only see this in Africa not even the Chinese seem to use this.
So sorry this happened to you 😭❤!
Thank you
This is very unfortunate. Sorry to hear this. Good luck guys.
Thank you we keep pushing and are grateful
Hello guys, I really like your channel and thanks for the great information, I have a question I told my plumber that I want the in wall toilets as he is doing the plumbing before the casting of the concrete slab for the foundation and he told me that that should be done later but I remember in one of your videos that you had the drains placed before the casting so if you could shed some light on the situation I would appreciate it thanks.
I presumed you mean concealed cistern with wall hung WC when you refer to wall toilets. If this is case, unless you have a dedicated duct with access provision to run the waste pipes in later, then all pipes works must be installed before casting using class A or B pressure pipes. It’s important note that the conceal cistern pipes are installed differently to floor mounted WC. We recommend you speak to your architect about the setting out information. All the best. Thanks
Thank you sir for the response, yes I had my Architect speak with my mason and plumber so hopefully it's being done properly. I'm building from a far so it's difficult to be sure but I guess we'll see thx
Those guys who steal these electrical installations are the same electrical contractors and they use it to do someone’s job. Some of them also sell it to other thieves in the market. Stealing will not get you rich, I don’t get it why people don’t know this??
Thieves Can Be Some Of The Other Workers.
Am so sorry guys. One can never be too careful. I was dumbfounded the day I watched diaryofyummymum’s channel. This too shall pass.
I know I was also very frustrated for them x thank you for your kind words !
Very disheartening, also annoying!!! These people are heartless and will stop at nothing. I think you should have someone staying there permanently. It is also useful to ensure you have light all around the house to give an impression the entire house is connected. That invariably will be a deterrent. So sorry for you guys!!
Thank you Perry thieves are the worst they will get some small money for this too!! Thanks yes once we got the connection we would be getting electric fence etc unfortunately we need this one room for connection.
It was 1000% done by the contractor you hired to do the wiring. You need Solar CCTV with 4g and a security guard. Otherwise it will keep happening
Yes we’re working on it (cctv) thanks 😃
Yes. Most Definitely CCTV Will Keep Eyes 👀 On The Security Guard Too.
You will be blessed 😊😊😊 I’m gonna watch this video a lot of times to help as much as possible stay positive ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Hi, Prince and Nikki. I am very, very upset 😡 about what has happened to you both, so don't we have the right to build in ghana anymore? When will this nonsense stop ✋️ in ghana. Someone came on my land to steal some of my fruit trees 🌳 😩 that i had a friend planted for me, can you imagined this hmmmmm. This idiots climb the fence wall 🧱 to do this and they are not just some fruit. trees
I know you just want to have something nice for your family but unfortunately people are scrambling for their small $ and taking from others. I believe these little bump will help re focus us and only make us stronger in our defence. Wow fruit tree ppl are unbelievable!
Hmmmmmm.
I’m deeply sorry for your loss. Unfortunately, electrical wiring is often a vulnerable aspect of building construction in Ghana. When combined with the current economic system and certain behaviors, this is driving many people toward criminal activities, leaving home owners to pay a hefty price.
Very true this why we planned to pull the wires at the very end of the process it’s unfortunate we had to wire the one room for connection. We need the connection to get the security fencing up etc. catch 22. I’m just grateful it was one small study area only.
Some clueless GHANAIANS will be portraying Ghana as a peaceful country?
Yes. Very Clueless Or Trying To Make People Believe That There Is No CRIME Or Scammers In Ghana By Ghanaian.
Put in a solar CCTV, which can be viewed from anywhere in the world
I was about to mention this. One on Amazon for £165. I bought that
Oh no!!! So sorry guys
Thank you😀
This is so sad. I'm so sorry.
Thank you we stay focused and positive
@princenikki That is so true. Stay focus.I have decided to put my electricity in last, and I have learned so much from your channel that's helping me with my building.
That’s great to hear x
Oh my goodness! I'm so sorry this happened to you too. I have been on the edge after being hit 3 times. I wish and had better solutions to share with you. I tried my best but I was still a victim.
I know dear there’s only so much you can do to try. I didn’t even post anything about it in case people are watching. The delay with connection to ECG to have it live is critical I think. We will stick with it being the very last thing we do to pull cables and connect but we will have security and fence live asap once connected. Thanks for your support
Thank you for sharing. Our people are disheartening in that we are trying ro make our countries and villages better but they have to ruin everything.
Thanks for your kind words manager x we stay focused and glad it was just the one small room. Plan B now
😢 this is not good. Sorry guys
Thank you for your kind words
We plan to take 2 years to finish our house and expect more diasporas will be living in the neighborhood by the time we get to the electricals, so this shouldn't happen I think.
You have to assume they will try and put in as much measures as possible. Even minimising the risk comes with its challenges.
Criminals Will Still Come From Afar To Still Be Stealing. Diasporan Are Still Going To Be Like They Are Still Living In USA
Oh no! Not another one! I’m so sorry, Prince and Nikki. This is never fun.
Say it again sir ! It’s a shame we were so close to getting connected. Grateful it was o my one room. Petty thieves !
@@princenikki sounds so similar to my situation. Delay from meter getting to site. Anyway; what doesn’t kill us, makes us stronger. You guys got this!
@@GhanabaKwaku thank you 😀 we keep pushing
Thank you for sharing your challenges with us. It’s inspiring to see how you’re overcoming them. Your resilience is truly commendable - and serves as a great example to others Keep safe
Thank you so much!
Thank you x
I suggest there should be someone staying there, also there should be cctv cameras around and light around the house 🏠
That’s the plan ! Thanks
Inside job , get windows fast
How much are they even going to get from these minimal cables?? When you arrest them or deal with them mercilessly then they’ll ask people to beg on their behalf 🤷🏾♂️ Time wasters really!
@kingshomes8546 It's inside job, windows are not cheap, you have to plan accordingly.
Exactly one small room I tell you !
I had windows, burglar proof with iron rods, top notch security doors from turkey that can’t be broken into. The fence wall and main gate with locks, still my wires worth 20k gone just this Wednesday. Is disheartening. Is always an insider
Ohh gh thise cable teft is too much
