Her very first comment set the tone . Something about the girls vs guys. Lol. Like what is she on. All the great spiritual leaders seemed to be men , the irony. 😂😂 Plus she talks as if she is on some hightened spiritual plane full realisations😂😂😂. She totally missed the point ren made, his point was that you cannot kill the ego/darkness inside, if you try to it will only get stronger. The best way is to not feed it, but instead strengthen your true self and naturally you will be able to temper it.

Favorite album for me is Just Bring It, largely on the back of Puzzle, my favorite song by anyone.

The premise for "Zenshu" is a bit misleading, as it's basically an Isekai (=brought to another world). There are currently 4 episodes out and I'd say it's quite entertaining. Not my new favorite in the world, that has to be Frieren, but good. Favorite Band-Maid songs: The non-fiction days, Blooming and Warning! But you should also see a live video from them, like Hate?

BAND-MAID is like KISS. If you don't see them perform you're missing half the show. You need to see some Official LIVE Videos. That's where they really shine! Try 'Hate?' or Domination' LIVE. This is one of their many, many anime theme song commissions. Their best one is the season two closer for the Netflix anime, Kengan Ashura, 'Shambles'. But check out the OMV for 'Unleash' in which they appear in anime form themselves. And don't forget to check out their April Foo's Day joke bands, BAND-MAIKO and Miku Goes Solo as Cluppo. She does an anime theme song as well called, 'With You'.

If you love 'Don't You Tell Me' then you really really need to watch the live version from Yokohama Arena, it's on their channel. Also if 'Choose Me' is a favourite, then try to find the live version of Saiki doing it solo and playing piano, also from Yokohama Arena. Her debut as a pianist, she is still a novice but what an impact making he first solo performance as a pianist in front of 12,000 people.

Curious how they got on your radar to listen to without having ever seen them.

The outfits have evolved over the years from the originals which were all identical as far as I remember. The lead singer and bassist were never keen on them, so theirs changed the most and earliest. Now Miku is the only one left in the "classical" costume, looking for all the world like a birthday cake

Welcome to (the video world) of Band Maid! the best rock band on the planet (imo of course). You clearly already have great taste in music. If you haven't really watched their videos and just their albums, you should check out their official live videos. They're even better live. Check out Domination, Don't You Tell ME, Play or Hate? all live, really any of their live videos and I think you'll like them even more. In all of those songs, they've extended sections for the live show and it's fantastic. As far as their maid outfits, they've changed over the years. They were very obviously maid outfits in the beginning (check out their video of Thrill to see the early costumes), but over the more than a decade of kicking butt they've all put their own spin on the outfits and they change every couple of years. You'll notice if you go through the videos. My favorite song is Blooming. My favorite album is... Unseen World... Probably, Epic Narratives is really awesome as well.. it's one of those two. They're all awesome, but their most recent "proggy" style is definitely my favorite and those two albums are definitely that. Favorite part of the song is Saiki hitting that big note, then it dropping into a half time feel.. then Kanami shredding that guitar into the solo. They toured the US in 2022 and 2023, I went to a both times, two of my favorite shows I've ever been to. They usually tour solo, so you just get 2 hours of them.

They do make music like this to this day, hell, multiple times more today than they did back then. It's just that you have to be willing to dig into it a bit, there's so much unbelievable shit out there today you don't have time in the day to listen to it all. As much as there exists your typical verse chorus verse chorus format songs but especially in metal you have so many bands deviating from that today it's by no means bold in anyway, most metal bands do it for the passion instead of money so they do what they want.

"If that was a black man that had a gun it would have been a totally different scene." You obviously didn't understand the symbolism during that scene. Instead you chose to see color over brotherhood.

How can you react if you’re just babbling over the song?

For more Megadeth, you could go for another album with a different sound -- for instance, the song Skin of my Teeth from the Countdown to Extinction album. Especially if you like looking at lyrics. It's musically brilliant, pure thrash, it has a 60-second solo, and the lyrics are a sort of black comedy on "Clinging onto life by the skin of your teeth". I did just subscribe with the hope that you'd react to Opeth in the near future. I'm sure you've had a lot of suggestions but anything from the Damnation album would do if you're not used to growls. Blackwater Park (the song) if growls are welcome. Even if not, Blackwater Park would be a very very easy introduction to growls. The album production and the variety of growls render it to be almost an easy-listening song :D

Hey . The song isnt about the punisher. Thats an aspect dave added later but not the orgin of the lyrics or story of the song. The song is about my country . IRELAND . its about the troubles in the north and how brother killed brother based of religion ( Catholics and Protestants . Pro irish vs pro British) and other aspects for decades . Again ...i really don't know were this punisher thing came from haha but yeah the song is about the conflict here in Ireland . Megadeth my fav band seen them 4 times and met Dave when i went to glasgow .

You’ve got to watch the 2004 version of “The Punisher”… It’s a great movie. I actually got to see these guys in a Bar when I was stationed in Hawaii and then I saw them again with Iron Maiden…. Both were mind blowing shows!!

If you like music with a lot of transitions, check out Tool, they aren’t Thrash and really don’t belong to any standard genre though they did get Grammies in Metal. They have in my opinion the best drummer playing today. The later stuff will have more transitions than the earlier stuff. Most of their songs are in drop D tuning, and many feature odd time signatures and poly rhythms.

You're getting your years quite mixed up. First you said the album was released in 1990 and you are correct but then a minute later said that the song came out in 1983 which of course is chronologically impossible. Then when the video started you said "oh the 80s"

The name Carach Angren wich means iron jaws, is from a pass in Mordor from Lord of the rings. They got there insparation from there. The band Carach Angren are one of the best storytellers ever and there music is very good. There albums are always a concept, one song only tells a small part of a greater story. Also, the funerary dirge of violinist is a very good song.
