    Thanks so much for sharing the update, I've watched your build videos quite a few times now as inspiration and I'm just trying to attempt a build myself. I'm just about to finish the shuttering in order to get the concrete poured in the coming weeks. It's probably not the most ideal time of year due to the weather but oh well!     Still looks great Carl. Im putting aircon in my place as it keeps you warm in winter without condensation on windows and comfortable in summer. For the outside moss, i use white vinegar. Works great on a mossy fence too.

      @@thediyfix I’m actually going to use the frame instructions to build an outside work style bench with shelves. It will go under my car port and store bits and bobs. I’m going to use bevelled feet due to sloping drive. But essentially, two rear frames, 2 side frames and go from there. MDF shelves. So, got myself some projects 👍

    Just about to build my room. before adding the the front piece to the roof do you plumb cut the rafters or just keep them square. So if just left does the fascia sit at a slight angle thanks

    I’ve been thinking of doing something similar to my cellar. It’s quite damp down there but I just want to make it a bit more pleasant than now, not a ‘habitable room’. This looks like an affordable quick fix solution but this survive in a cellar?

      Tanking slurry is great it would work well in a basement

    Hi, how did you know what depth to dig down ? is there a recommended depth that the height pg the timber frame needs to be to support the mot type 1 and then the cement ? Ideally I would want the shed base to be slightly above ground level

      Honestly I didnt have a set depth I just leveled it, which meant the highest point on the right was down 75-80mm and the lowest point on the back left was pretty much flush with the original ground level

    Great video, I'm about to start building my garden room! I'm very new to this so have no idea!!! I noticed you used a breathable membrane on the outside but none breathable on the inside, should it not all be breathable? Thanks

      The purpose of the internal membrane is to stop moisture passing through the walls and ceiling into the timber. Therefore it doesnt want to be breathable

    Great job. I did the same myself with no help. Definitely the hardest part was the ceiling plasterboard. I used 15mm soundboard. Did it myself using a deadman prop and screwing into the walls temporarily to hold one side.
