    Do you put anything in horizontally along the bottom edge to prevent insects) small vermin from getting up between the membrane and the back of the cladding. Air ventilation is important if course.

      No mate. They cant get inside so I dont think it really matters

      My first instinct would probably build an internal stud wall and a suspended ceiling then insulate and board.

    whats the durability like without a skim? plasterboard is very prone to denting and very weak without a skim of plaster

      Hi Ray, it’s fine. It could be argued that skimming the walls would be slightly better, but it’s not a huge difference. I certainly wouldn’t say the walls are weak without plaster.
      If you go to the US or Australia all they do is drywall
