Sounds great!! What’s the model year and specs on this Countryman? Looks like it has the JCW Lower bumper cover but with fog lights? Was this an option in the UK or is it custom? I don’t think this was a factory option in the US market, but I love the look of it! Are emissions increased with this system? The ‘after’ clip has noticeably more exhaust, but also realize it could have been a colder day. Wondering if the Supersprint resonator replaced a factory 2nd cat, or if it was a muffler/resonator on the factory center pipe (or maybe it was both)

9:50 what the hell sir, fastcharger couple of hours? Fastcharger is CCS 50kw and it goes from 10 to 80% in like 40 minutes.. Maybe you ment wallcharger? Thats AC and at 11kw yeah, 4 hours.

Maxton stuff is just to thin and cheap , it all damages very easily when on the road ! After 3months on my TCR the front splitter made the car look old and worn I had to remove it , not worth the money or hassle !

I wanted one for ages since release but now the infotainment and software is just way too dated now for me

We liked the i3 so much (a 94Ah Rex version) that we replaced it with a 120Ah i3 in 2019. We still have that i3 and ordered an additional i3S in Mineral Grey and loaded with almost every option - when we heard production was going to stop. It arrived in March 2022 and like your car, had an item reverted to ‘base’ due to chip shortages. In our case it was the touch controller being replaced with the smaller standard dial. What I discovered late in 2023 was that it was only the controller that had been changed - and so it was easy to replace (with one from a nearly new i3S that was in the breakers). Straight swap, a quick re-code and it was back to full specification. We are therefore a 2 x i3 family… They’re not going anywhere! I have added Wokeby storage units to both (which utilises the space that would have been taken up by the Rex), and a Wokeby frunk cover - that works really well in the i3S and keeps everything dry. I do have a Wokeby charging flap mod, but have yet to get around to fitting it. For the i3S, I’m interested in the spacers, and am considering buying the Evolve modded (Bilstein) dampers - keeping the stock springs just to improve ride comfort a bit - without sacrificing the country lane abilities of the car. BMW built a gem with the i3, and I too think it will become a sought after classic… On a side note, that i3S in the breakers had been in a significant head on collision with a lorry, but though the front end was effectively smashed away, the carbon fibre passenger cell was intact. Apparently the driver was knocked unconscious and was hospitalised with severe bruising and some other relatively minor injuries - but he survived as a result of that car. We only know that - because he had subsequently visited the breakers yard to retrieve some personal effects that had been found later by those stripping the car for parts.

Did induction kit on a Corsa vxr it caused bad boost lag as it messes up the air fuel ratio thinking of doing it on my jcw hatch will it need mapping in after. I'm guessing it will.

I’ve just had this done, but the body shop who did it bent and damaged the aluminium trim. Spoke to bmw and they’ve told me it comes as a whole gearbox unit which is £1220 🤦‍♂️ are you aware of being able to source the aluminium trim separately?

_NO_ AC Schnitzer !!! AC Schnitzer ruined the perfectly beautiful BMW Z8. The i3 is another perfect design. Just don't do it. If anything, I would research on how to replace the battery pack for longer range and replace the charge port with a fast charging port. The infotainment screen is antiquated too but I don't think I would touch it. It's antiquated but charming.

May I suggest the larger screen and a carplay/Android auto box I really like mine. It's depreciated like f**k but it is so cheap to run and so good around town I love that it looks like a clown car!
