The SN30Pro/Pro 2 line are more intended for 2D platformers, as the D-Pad is the most comfortable and accesible way to move directions on the controller. the sicks and extra buttons are there for it to still act as a full controller if you need to.

Ali Express has a game console for 5.99 and its a knock off of the nes classic that came out a few yes back i think in 2017 give or take a yr. Has 2 controllers ans im thinking about getting it or 2 of them and saving them for xmas gifts who knows when they be thst cheap again and the miyoo mini plus has gone down to 38.00 so im definitely ordering that because i accidentally spilled rubbing alcohol all over it and went inside swimming in it and i will uplug the battery keep it and the sd card thrn throw it away.

I would rather a tear down and reverse engineering of the device. See how much of the device can be customized/hacked. It would He way more interesting for me to see a deep dive into the device than a review of what software is loaded and critiques about the controllers.

Did the installation but couldnt get any games to read, took it a part to recheck everything and the OLED wasnt getting power anymore. Resoldered the wire and still nothing 😢

You are not alone, I've had a couple boards with this exact same issue before. After tracking down multiple dead vias I just kind of gave up on them. Way to have some perseverance!

I have the opposite problem

3DS flashcarts exist(ed), namely the Sky3DS. They just fell out of style because they make 0 sense compared to just modding. Modding the 3DS really isn't that hard and really doesn't change as often as your rant at the end implies, especially nowadays with the death of 3DS online services

Just put YSMenu on your R4 cart and you are good to go

It dose have its down side like when you shut it it keeps turning it self on and off so games like new sup keep constantly making sound when a r4 card doesn’t do that and the homebrew is not grate on it either apparently (I don’t really care about that) but you can get r4 clones that don’t have time bombs

The8BitGuy invented the retrobrite process a long time ago. It's caused chemically by UV light on the plastic turning it yellow. Hydrogen peroxide + UV light actually helps reverse this faster.
