I created this channel to share my passion for Henry James' The Turn of the Screw. Since I was in the 8th grade, I became enamoured with this story and would like to introduce others to it. It is not what you would call an easy read. James' writing style is quite convoluted and you really have to have a desire to read something that takes place in late Victorian times but nonetheless, I love it.

James wrote it as a simple ghost story but over the years, many scholars have read more into the work. The ambigious nature of the novella intrigues me and inspires me to explore every angle of the work (including any adaptation I can get my hands on).
