MAJOR Mistake Made! | Must See Transformation!
We are FINALLY able to install the front suspension back into the 1956 Ford Fairlane. This has been over a year in the making, and it is not without its fare share of errors. Parts have to be cut out and come back off before going back on, again. What a mess. But it is looking great now!

I just got my CK2620SE cab in 2023, replacing an open station 3510SE. I agree with all of the points you made to buy the cab over the open station tractor. But I’ll add one more justification I made here in the windy, foggy coastal California climate I live in, I have an angry neighbor who is suing me over a dispute on an access easement on my property. If I don’t want to talk to her, I can keep the door closed and keep going! (The lawsuit is finally getting close to a settlement where I won anyway) Worth every penny not having to take that grief!
Valid reason for sure. I try to avoid my neighbors if at all possible. ha

Appreciate the kind words, we're having a blast! She keeps me motivated, for sure!
I specified that my new Kioti HAD to have a cab. I was done with plowing snow and freezing my butt of with an open station tractor. The extra 8 grand was worth it to me. I don't have A/C, I bought primarily for the winter. I do have a fan that I can set up to blow air on me in the summer. In the 12 years that I have owned and run this Kioti CK27hst I have broken zero windows and haven't gotten smacked in the face with any branches.
Wasnt aware they made them without AC and only heat. Lets hope for 12 more years of no broken glass and no branches to the face!.
It depends on applacations. I have the rx7320 cab kioti . Plowing snow in winter. Moving tree debris in summer. And making mulch . Large field mowing jobs. Helping local orchards with there needs if they are down a tractor. It all has benifits in my mind to own a cab tractor. It gets you out of eliments . Which for some can cause some harm . Pollin in spring time sure sucks to breath in when mowing pastures 8 hours a day . The one downside is the repair of ac or heater system. Which costs thousands. And if you blow out a window . Those get pricey to repair.
I had my AC break while under warranty, thankfully. It was just a vent that wouldnt open. I bet it would be expensive out of pocket. And I hope I never have to replace any glass.
This is a sweet machine. I picked one up recently. 🚜

And here's the best part. I own the 25 hp equivalent in a John Deere (without a cab). And I can sell that for as much as I paid for it and get one of those Kioti tractors WITH a cab, PLUS much more front bucket and PTO lift capacity...for pretty much the same damned price! Granted, I won't have the 4 in 1 bucket that I have on my JD. But I've got an excavator, so I guess I'll just use that!
All tractors have their plus positives and negatives, but bang for buck, I felt the Kioti was a great deal and has done everything I have asked of it.
@@muchgooderish We've been actively looking at trading the JD for a Kiot with a cab. We're getting up in years and have found the tractor to be indispensable on our land. We'll be moving out there soon, which means using it in four seasons vrs just good weather. We'll be having to plow snow in the winter and work in the rain with it a lot more, and we aren't getting any younger. Just last summer I was cutting up a downed tree that happened to have an in ground yellow jacket nest down at the other end. The vibrations passing through the log agitating the hive, and I got nailed with seven stings in a matter of seconds! I was in pain for three days and itched terribly for two weeks...miserable! THIS summer we had to clear trees for our new shop and one had a large paper wasp nest in it, but this time I had a small excavator with a CAB. Oh the satisfaction of knocking it down out of the tree, smashing the nest to a pancake under the bucket and driving away without a sting despite hundreds of torpedo-like, dive bomb hits to the glass of the cab with them trying to get at me! 😇 When we found out how much more reasonably priced Kioti tractors are compared to JD & Kubotas, with a very similar level of quality AND so many additional features and better lifting specs, we were sold! There's a very real chance we'll be able to practically trade one tractor for the other (financially), perhaps spending a few thousand more for SO much more tractor with that cab. Anyway, appreciate your video.
@@carolewarner101Sorry to hear about the stings. Cab will for sure solve that. Hopefully you have a good dealer pretty close. Mine is about 15 minutes away.
I used open station tractors for over 50 years. I now have replaced four tractors with cab tractors. Damn, I wish I would’ve switched years ago.
There are times I would love an open station, like when just moving items, or pulling hayrides, but most work is dirty, dusty, hot, or cold. The cab takes care of all of that.
Love it! You’re a funny one!
Glad you enjoyed!
@@muchgooderish ya talked me into a cab now.

Hopefully with what we just completed in our forthcoming video, it will help the little stove keep up! Thanks for watching and commenting.
You need to ditch the 2x4, that is not a safe way to secure the loader and bucket, instead use a piece of angle iron placed along the struts... Also there is also a smaller plug to drain hydraulic fluid, found forward of the 31mm plug, You can buy a hand pump from NAPA that mounts to the hydraulic fluid 5 gal bucket... saves your back and time
Good advise. I didnt have angle iron at the time, but I do now, and will for sure utilize it next time.

I just started watching your channel which I really like because I own a KIOTI DK4220 my question for you is the size of your trailer that hauls the KIOTI ,what size trailer is that ? and also the hitch for your truck that has a scale on it, what is the name and where can I find that? Keep up on the good work!!!! Joe from San Pierre In.
@@Shoeman111a Welcome aboard. The trailer is 20'. I got it at Mayes in Greenwood IN. Its a 12k lb. Bush hog hangs off a bit, but thats the only "issue" I have had. The hitch is a weighsafe. A little pricey, but so convenient when changing ball sizes (it came with 2" and 2 5/8") and knowing tongue weight is right. I think I got it on Amazon, but they are available all over the place. Thanks for watching and commenting.
I realize that this video is four months old, but you didn't address this in your video, and I don't know if you've done it yet, but you never adjusted your slip clutch. You realize that all slip clutches should be adjusted, because the manufacturers of the rotary cutters don't know how many PTO HP the machines that run the rotary cutters are going to be, so they're not "set" or "adjusted" for a specific machine.
@@JeffGeorgalas appreciate the info. I bought it at same dealer I got the tractor, and I think he said it should be fine, but I will for sure research it now.

Spray foam and ceiling fan. You can paint spray foam. 3 inches of closed cell would make a world of difference. Youre losing a tremendous amount of any heat youre generating through that uninsulated roof and most of your heat is rising. Insulate it and get a fan or 2 to help circulate the air vertically

No Chevy motor in a FORD
An engine is an engine. Most likely to swap it back down the road as the project progresses out of hand, like many do!
DO NOT BUY ANY KUBOTA PRODUCT I BOUGHT A NEW KUBOTA LX 4020 TRACTOR TO USE FOR A SNOW REMOVAL BUSINESS IN BRIAN HEAD, UT. I HAD TO PURCHASE FROM A DEALERSHIP IN COLORADO AS IT WAS THE ONLY KUBOTA DEALERSHIP WITHIN A 1000 MILE SEARCH TO HAVE THE TRACTOR I NEEDED FOR THE PURPOSE INTENDED. The Dealership, Wickham Tractor in Fort Collins, CO sold me the tractor and added Howes diesel treatment to the tank as well as selling me the remainder of the bottle to use to prevent the fuel from jelling. I Used as per specs. Tractor was purchased on 11/21/23 and I picked it up and transported it back to UT. Tractor was in operation for 17.2 hours before it would not start. Local Kubota dealerships said they would not come out to try to fix it as we did not buy it from them. Took it to Las Vegas, NV, as they were closest Kubota dealership, dropped off on 1/8/24 at 730 am. Kubota dealership said the fuel smelled funny so it wasn't covered under warranty and said $12000.00 plus to fix. The DPF was completely clogged and the only codes were low temp MAF sensor and no communication with EGR. Western area rep said there was no fuel to test because I drained it. This is a Lie. Had more than 6 gallons of fuel in it when i dropped it off. I have all the emails and correspondences and text messages, proving they denied coverage for adding a fuel additive. Sergio at Kubota customer service said, “When I put fuel in the tractor it voided warranty.” Apco, the Kubota dealership in Las Vegas, sent out the injectors for testing they came back as bad due to fuel contamination on 1/23/24. Kubota persisted in their point of me putting bad fuel in the Tractor. When I called the tester, I pressed about the fuel contamination. The person who did the test, said it was visible metal in the injectors that most likely came from the high pressure fuel pump. There was no metal in the fuel tank, fuel filter or fuel water separator. The dealership i bought the tractor from said they were the only ones that could help me at this point due to Kubota policy. Eddie at Wickham tractor told me I needed to bring the tractor back to them, 1367 miles round trip. and they would sell me a new one because I had broken this one. And would see about trying to fix the one I had already bought for a discount. I transported the tractor back to Greely, CO to Wickham on 1/18/24 they tested the fuel that was still in the filters and it came back as fine 2/8/24 so they were going to replace the entire engine. This could take between 3 to 9 months. My warranty coverage says all warranty work to be completed within 30 days. On 2/28/24 I found out there was internal Kubota Service Bulletin that came out to all the dealers the week before I bought the tractor stating the very problems my tractor was having. They knew this, and still denied coverage, and finally, when I presented this fraud to Kubota, on 3/7/24 Wickham tractor said they were going to replace the tractor with a new one, but wouldn't give me a timeline of when I would get a new one and I would have the expense of picking it up from them verses a local dealership. These delays have cost me my business and reputation to move snow I had to pay out my competitors and cancel and refund all my contracts. A service bulletin for this tractor was issued before I bought it stating this very problem. and it was to be fixed at Kubotas expense. They knew the problem existed, they tried to blame it on me for adding fuel supplement, they tried to coerce me into buying a new tractor on top of the broken one so i didn't lose my business. they refused to cover the cost of repair until i proved their fraud, and intent by pushing the narrative and then changing and deleting emails. I have all emails and correspondence showing the timeline, the fraud and intent.
Initial cost and inability to get it into my workshop. But I’m getting one anyway. 6 days and counting.
Nice. Just used mine in the heat and dust for 3 hours today, but I was clean and cool!! Enjoy!
Mine doesn't have spark either ... what did you have to do to get spark
We cleaned points and changed out some distrivutor parts, but never could get it to fire. Ended up pulling the engine.
Only thing I worry about with the cab is working in the woods with it... Pulling logs out of woodlots .Breaking the glass
@@carlandrews5810 True, and a good point, but I personally would rather have a log hit the glass and 1 of the 4 post (instead of just a rops), and break glass versus it breaking my face or chest and landing me in the hospital. Glass is much cheaper!. Granted, the higher cab limits where you can access, such as lower branches, etc.
