As a kid the beginning of this always reminded me of the beginning of the theme for House (medical drama starring Hugh Laurey). As an adult, it still does.

The rolling cymbals, orchestral strings, and...the other strings that are a bit more bassy that I dont quite know the name for are all such amazing additions to make this song sound more complete. This composer was a musical genius And the swelling orchestral strings in the chorus aaaaaa

It took me forever to figure out how the heck to navigate this part of the game - the instructions on the controls aren't very clear

bout to hop on a replay of this peak game that i loved as a child, funnily enough when i was playing for the first time i got stuck somewhere and this game was the first game that made me use youtube to help me out for the first time

Believe it or not, this track actually scared me when I was a kid. Not only that, but the snakes and having to keep up with the heat meter were also intimidating. Because of those things, when I set foot in the desert, I was hesitant to progress in the story for weeks. Fortunately I worked up the courage to just keep going, and it wasn't so bad. The sandstorm in the north desert was also kind of scary, but I wasn't stuck on it for nearly as long. Of course, as I got older, I grew to love this music a lot and even chill out in the badlands just to listen to it. Rather than the deserts, so that way I didn't have to keep up with the heat meter all the time. Super duper awesome music!

Man, I ADORED this game when I was a kid. I remember chilling out in areas for prolonged periods of time just so I could vibe to the awesome music. It still amazes me to this day that a kid's game this shockingly creative even got made.

Will I be the first ever to have this played at my wedding? It will be so nostalgic

Idk if this was a bug or not but do you saved here you would be hardlocked here, even if you beat the game and would have to start a new save file, meaning you lost all your progress I learned this the hard way

This track is still a banger and gives off the feeling of extreme harsh, dry, and hot conditions
