My in-laws are “missing” teeth. When my daughter’s adult teeth were coming in, her canine teeth weren’t coming in. Family thought she didn’t have them, like everyone else. X-ray showed they were there but no space to move down - palate expander fixed it!

Wholey smokes I had the exact same thing! I had the surgery and dental work done in the mid 80s. I had braces on for 3 years and have had a retainer glued on the back of my bottom teeth for 35 years now. Same retainer too. My 2 front teeth are slightly crooked again because my front tooth gets really weak when straightened. Anyways lol this was so awesome to see. I had never seen anything else like this since my journey.

I have the same case its just that my exact that same tooth is way back then the other teeth so yup I've just got braces on it so let's see

i had a minor case compared to taht. as a child my 1st teeth remaine in when the second teeth came out. and after there was too little space, it took in the 90s for about 7years to correct it, but it was probably at maximum a way of about 3-5mm to travel. here she took 6months for like 8mm???? could my bones be MUCH MUCH harder?

I want to substitute my canine for my lateral incisor but my dentist is saying i have to get an impĺant because i have bone loss. I am scared of implant. Cant I put bone graft and then continue to move the lateral incisor in that place?

That looks terrible. I have this condition too. I was born without them. I don't understand why wouldn't you just move the canines back, so they can place two implants for the laterals. That would give a far better look...

I had a similar procedure. A bad dentist remove one to many teeth on my upper jaw. The expert in Sweden did magic and use all the techniques available to give me back my smile.

I didn’t get treatment as a teen but got upper premolars extracted so my molars remain in Class II but my canines are in Class I 🎉

I had exactly the problem,lam now in my 30's and l would love try this out.

I had the same thing done back in the 80's. Worst thing ever. Pulled my teeth too far forward and lead to major gum loss. The tooth isn't even in the bone, just floating and had to have an implant. Don't do it unless you have a serious expert. Yay 80's orthodontia :/
