Stupid question but what size pedals do you need to fit into the crank? Are all pedals interchangeable now with modern bikes or do you need a correct size?

I like that you’ve shown that even the old bike is able to have new life…. However… I’ve got some advice for the build ..you should tighten the “plastic screw” into that Deore crank shaft firstly, and then tighten screws on the crank arm to lock It in place….. (truvativ also used to make these cranks with selfextracting bolt…. unfortunately that’s missing on the original firex cranks that came with that bike)…

I've bought black ones. Everything is great except paint chipping after about 2-3 months. After 2 years they look awful.

It’s also good practice to move the handle brakes to different angles, to allow for trapped air bubbles to escape. Also, add a dab of fluid to the bleed screw-hole before replacing the screw, this will help to prevent air from being pushed into the system from under the bleed screw. After it’s tightened, there should be some residual fluid that you’ll need to wipe off with a paper towel or rag.

Hello. I have a decision to make, perhaps you could assist: I need to choose one of these 2 options as my next MTB: Option 1: used canyon lux (2016 model carbon fiber, sram xx1, 11x1) condition "ok". Option 2: New Polygon T7. Both options are at the same price. The reason that I'm considering the polygon is that I am worried that the 6 year old xx1 might get too old, and to fix it would cost a fortune. Can anyone please give me some tips what should I do? I ride mostly XC. I will appreciate your input very much!

Don't use thin cone spanners on pedals they'll cut into the pedal and round off the face eventually making it a nightmare to remove them esp if over tightend always use a good quality made 15mm spanner 👍

You are supposed to push the plastic bits the rubber strap clips onto, into the foam. They arent supposed to be loose like that. 👍

I changed my rear shock myself for the first time recently. Take the back wheel off, it will take the extra weight off the frame so when you remove the shock the frame won't fall.

How is this process compare to the full bleed where the caliper at the wheel get drain and bleed?

I love Blazing Saddles, try this, complete it only using pumping, it's very possible, I've done it a few times, will keep you off the brakes and push boundaries a bit but nothimg crazy. Not enough pumping by most mtb riders

The levers are to take your inner tubes off, so that you can wash inside the tyres and the wheels, of course! Without that, you can't say your bike is clean! Just kidding!😂😂 Nice video!

Good job on the build 👍 those Specialized Pitch mtbs were really great! I actually really wanted one back in the day and would still love to rock one now! But yeah man rock it until it breaks! I still ride my 2011 Giant Trance all the time. I’ve upgraded every TJ I get and it just keeps going. Same thing with this pitch, keep it up and it’ll keep moving. Dropper post would make a huge difference, PNW are fairly inexpensive and really solid!
