    • @GearAndGuns

      This is how it came stock from benelli. Different models and brands have less or more tube capacity based on what length tube is installed. Also, some tubes have a plug installed in them from the factory which restricts or stops you from loading more rounds. If your tube length is the same, you might have a plug in your tube. Some rounds are also longer then others not allowing you to fit a full 7 depending what round your using.

    After watching this video several times, I still had the damnedest time to get it to work. Then I realize you have to make sure the shell you’re dropping in to the lifter. You have to make sure it’s at its most forward position, if you have the shell too far back towards the stock, it locks in to the pro lifter and then you’re not able to get the bolt carrier to close with a shell on top. Thank you very much for this video. It was a great help. I’m so happy it works and by the way, be safe you guys and use practice shotgun shells to do this.

    You are really underselling this lower, like yeah Ambi is nice, and the bolt release can be accomplished by the Bad lever, but the 1 feature that makes the ADAC worth it, and IMO one of the BIGGEST advancment in Stoner's design in 50 year or W/E is the fact that the Mag Release locks the bolt back, so you have 1 button to clear malfunction instead of a weird 3 handed fumble fudge under stress. You pair the ADAC with a Gibbz Side charging upper and that multiplies its effectiveness.

    • @GearAndGuns
      @GearAndGuns 3 дні тому

      @@washingtoncommandcenter5541 Wasn’t trying to undersell it. I think it’s the best ambi lower and if I wanted another I’d probably buy this again. I do like that the mag release locks back the bolt, that’s a really cool feature and useful for malfunctions for sure. Not a fan of side charging uppers personally but yes it’s a great lower. The price is just expensive and you can get about the same effectiveness from a 150$ aero upper and a bad lever. I like them a lot, just wasn’t necessary for me. I wish I could’ve kept it though.

      @@GearAndGuns I came from many years of a Robinson XCR being my go to before is started building ARs. So I'm more comfortable with side-chargers and find them more intuitive, easier to use, and I like being able to run the gun without having to come up off the sights. Gibbz G4 non-reciprocating left side charging upper combined with the ADAC it further simplifies a high-stress potentially life saving process. I even have ADACs on my Virtuses, and them, along with Virtus's thick I.D. SD rails that fit my fat Hyperion and Nelson Cans and the trouble is went through to put a RB/Tommy E3 safety into them have kept me from even considering the Spear LT. Alone, both are my favorite Upper/Lower but they're even better together. If Radian added the FAR superior Fal/XCR/ACR/Bren type bolt release like RRA LAR-8 or Bushmaster BAR-10s had, to the ADAC, it would add another benefit outside of the Dual Action catch for right handed shooters and IMO make it the perfect lower. OR IMO if Robinson/Bren could license the dual action catch(along with Robinson moving from monolithic to interchangeable rails) they could be the best rifles period, that's how beneficial I think that function is lol

      @@brandondane4777Theres a lot of good upper companies just depends how much you want to spend. I don’t think bcm sells their uppers with that suppressor adapter. You would either have to buy it and install it yourself or send it out to a company to get them to install if. Bcm doesn’t currently make complete lower receivers and the ones they used to make are super hard to get. I wish they were more easily obtainable. I use an aero precision lower with my bcm upper. That’s a very common combo. Aero precision sells complete ar15 lower receivers with the pistol brace and without the stock attached, just a bare buffer tube. I would just buy one of their complete lower receivers with or without the brace, add the brace if need be, then buy one of bcms uppers and get the muzzle device you need on there. • @GearAndGuns
      @GearAndGuns 5 днів тому

      @@arvindavevelasco125 I’d recommend the RCR. Can’t go wrong with either though. I bought the acro p2 a long time ago and have been using it on my 17 with no problems, it’s been great. That being said I’ve seen a decent amount of complaints from hard use on the acro p2 causing fog or glass to break, but the amount of complaints compared to the amount of p2s that are out there is small. The RCR is still new but I haven’t seen any problems with it yet. Usually it takes a little bit before problems arise but I’d be confident in choosing either one. I mainly recommend the rcr because it’s newer it doesn’t have complaints like the p2. Rcr buttons are easier to activate and I think the battery cap is metal, p2 is plastic. The glass is wider giving advantage to transitions while the acro glass is taller giving the advantage to the recoil tracking. The rcr has a blue tint to the glass which I don’t really like while the p2 is more clear. If your slide is milled or you have an adapter for the rmr, you can use any of trijicons 4 pistol red dots. I haven’t been able to use the Rcr but looks promising. If I bought another I’d want to try out the rcr. I use the rmr hd on my edc 19 so the Rcr would be compatible with that mounting system. Whatever you feel more comfortable with. Hope this helps.

If you make sure to use a good thread locker for your screws and have a quality mounting plate you should have no issues. If I were to get another mounting plate I’d get the forward controls one, I think it’s a little higher quality then this, but I’m sure aimpoint’s mounting plate is good enough. The shearing off I think is usually due to cheap and low quality screws like the ones Glock sends with their mos plates. Really cheap, weak material stuff. Too much oil in your trigger housing is a BAD thing. For two reasons. Depending on how you store your shotgun, any excess will just migrate to the rear of the receiver and make it's way outside on your stock or wherever. Also, don't ever oil your magazine tube more than a surface wipe. Oil left in Magazine Tubes will migrate to primers and cause any ammo stored in your firearm to have to potential to fail due to oil migrating to the primers.

    I've owned both, and sold the Beretta 1301 Tactical Marine version due to the "feel". It was lighter, had more plastic parts, and didn't feel like it would last a really hard course. As a retired Marine I know that it passed the USMC Qual Criteria, so I kept the Benelli M4. After all, Marines can figure out how to destroy a Ball Bearing in a Padded Room, and the M4 Passed. Not only that, but we figured out a way to add an Additional Round more than Beretta Intended by Carrier Loading.

      @@roostershooter76 Benelli is the best shotgun no doubt. It’s use in the military and how reliable it is. I still do prefer the weight savings because I’m a civilian and don’t need a “bomb proof” shotgun. Benelli was built for war, beretta was more a civilian tactical shotgun that can be used for combat. Although it’s plastic i think it’s still plenty reliable and wont break under most conditions. Both the beretta and benelli can be loaded 7+2 with the extra round on the lifter. Can’t go wrong with either in my opinion. I don’t think most civilians need benelli durability but I understand wanting the reliability for peace of mind. For me I benefit more from the weight savings. Hope that m4 is working out for you. Thank you for your service! 🫡🤝🏼

    BCM was a very early proponent of the 11.5" length along with Knights Armament and frankly Colt(considering a lot of the XM177's were 11.5 and they already had scientific proof that it was more reliable in adverse conditions than 10.5" back in the 1960s). I've yet to buy an 11.5" BCM because I started building my own uppers(I don't need to, I want to). With that said--the BCM MCMR mlok handguard is my favorite mlok rail. It isn't the most durable but it is durable enough for 99% of use cases including professional use cases like SWAT and potentially even military uses. It would hold up to just about the same amount of abuse as most other higher end mlok rails. BUT the reason its my favorite is because its smooth, its small in circumference, and it is aesthetically pleasing. I also like that they use a stainless steel barrel nut. That's just good for the thermal properties of the barrel. If you use a material like 7075 then that barrel nut will heat up at a different rate than the barrel. I don't know if it really matters but Mike Ross the CEO of Criterion says stuff like that matters a lot and considering he owns a well regarded company that manufactures barrels I'm gonna take his word for it. I have 3 BCM uppers. A 20", 16" and a 14.5". I've only had one malfunction with all of them combined and that was a stuck case after I fired 400 rounds of steel case ammo in a single afternoon. BCM is hard to beat. The only thing that comes close to the value of a BCM upper is a Geissele on any major US holiday. You can get a great price on Geissele and their barrels are phenomenal.
