Your locs look great! I had to give mine a lil trim too. My back locs were wayyyy longer than the rest so I just wanted to even it out a lil bit.

I have a question (I asked this on another video of yours), how do you maintain your hair between retwists? I know I am doing mine to often, but I am trying to keep my hair neat. And can you go over how to self comb twist the hair? I am so afraid that I will get it caught. You don't use hair clips.....Thanks.

I am at the part of your video when you share how often you are retwisting your hair. I have a question, how often are you washing your hair? And then how are you maintaining the look during that time. My hair is growing so fast and I have been washing my hair every two week, but also retwisting at the same time. Do you recommend that? I started my loc journey over. I didn't like the size, I wanted them smaller. I decided to loc my hair about two years ago after I grew it to waist length but due to a medical illness, it became to much to maintain. When I restarted my locs, about six weeks ago, I opt to cut all my hair off and start fresh. That wasn't my initial ideal, I was going to comb them out but once I started, I stopped. I was in the middle of another health crisis and decided to make another covenant with God and part of that agreement was to cut my hair. Going forward, every time I look at my hair or put my hands in it, I will remember my covenant with God. I just didn't know I would love my short hair so much. I never trust anyone hands in my hair, but it is difficult retightening my hair and I don't know what to do, being so short the back is unraveling a lot, but I will figure it all out.

Very helpful, I'm 2.5 years locing and always did retwisting, and then I decided to interlock. Now I want to revert back to retwisting and I see now from your video that I would be comfortable in doing so. It has been 3 months and this will also be my first attempt to do my locs on my own. I'll let you know how it turns out. Thank you!
