    I get silly questions about my locs all the time. I swear outside of slapping a relaxer up there black folks are clueless about what their hair can do. Also your locs are beauties!

    I did every single thing that you suggested, and your one of the people that I watched. I am 10 months in and my Loc journey and so happy that I started when I did. I wasted time trying to wait till my sides and nape area grew back because I had it shaved l, but when it was and inch long I just said forget it, I’m starting and I’m glad I did. I love your Locs, they look so good!

      Hang in there !!! You’re very close to seeing them truly evolve and turn into locs 🫶🏾✨

    I don’t consider the questions to be silly. If someone doesn’t know then they will ask. I’d rather educate them than to consider them silly questions

    I just started mine with coils March 7th 2024😌✨and so rn I’m definitely looking frizzy in a sense. I think I have 3c ish hair but honestly I’m not 100% sure. I do know I don’t have type 4 so I’m definitely curious to see how they will turn out by month 6😭

    Lol just so you know, the question about taking two strand twists apart is valid lol. I obviously can’t remember them but I’ve seen several people decide to transition from a regular mini-twist style into starter locs by unraveling the months-old twists and utilizing the respective half’s as the width of their new starter locs. I know it’s crazy, but it has been done. I guess at that point it could kinda be like a comb coil 😅

      Right it wouldn’t be a twist anymore it’ll just be strands of hair lololol 😂

    😂 I actually took out my locs after 3 days and have locs . 😂 Honestly anything leads to locs. It’s all about the aesthetics . BTW we are locs birthday mates.

    Hello i love your locs, ive been watching a lot of your videos, I'll be starting my loc journey this week and I'm looking at interlocking my locs.. Did you interlock the first day of starting your locs? Or did you start interlocking on your 1st retwist? Thank you

    • @Thecatherinealexandra
      @Thecatherinealexandra  6 місяців тому +1

      Thank you for being here !! I interlocked the first day of starting my locs. The loctician did two strands twists and interlocked the roots 😊

      @emeraldlong7112 6 місяців тому

      @Thecatherinealexandra thank you, do you have a video of how you interlocked your roots? I saw some people did north,south, east west, something like that lol, I watched a lot of your videos and I don't think I came across one of you saying or demonstrating that.. I know my locs will look different than yours but yours are really nice and solid your videos are very helpful and detailed..

      @@emeraldlong7112 I was going to a loctician at the time and she was the one who did the interlocking, I show a glimpse of her doing it in my 1 year visual loc journey video: ua-cam.com/video/5Lw7IWXy8RA/v-deo.htmlsi=0OhVzNhkX0Adsm8H
      And yes! She did a four point rotation, north, south, east and west
