$2500.00 to have a chance to buy a $100 bottle of Eagle Rare. Total Wine is a gatekeeping shithole. But if you want some bottom shelf, young, muted bourbons, this is the place.

Prices are through the roof in KC but you can find just about any bottle. Just have to pay up for it

I know I’m late commenting, but I found a Ben Holladay One Barrel store pick at Riverside Red X on the Missouri side a couple months ago. I think it’s very good. Wish I had bought two. I’m not a Blanton’s fan, but nice price!

Just picked up that rebel as a gift for someone, gonna snag another probably. My local is doing a drawing for a shot at purchasing a Russel's 15, so any excuse to get more tickets is great.

I don’t get a lot of these stores around us. They aren’t selling enough fireball to get these bottles, so are they getting them from someone on the inside, or are they all related to someone that DOES sell enough to get the allocation?

Worked at the store that used to be there for about 6 years it was very weird visiting it again , I’m a sucker for the high age statement Canadian club wish I could afford it

I go to Gomers South since it is open late after my shift. If you can go somewhere else. I would recommend that you go somewhere else. It used to be that Gomer employees knew their product and seemed to enjoy their jobs. Over time this store has deteriorated If you ask these guys questions they do not know their products or even their inventory. I asked about east European and they did not know where or what that was. They pointed out they had wine from France. The floors are filthy and product that is not moving is dusty as a tomb. The back room that perpetually advertises a wine sale with dusty stained signs is also filled with chaotically scattered cases of stored extra products blocking the aisles. Old tattered display cases used to seem quaint, even charming As the store has deteriorated they now seem just cheap and trashy. One of the most aggravating things is that literally half the items are unpriced. You are expected to bring each item to the front so they can price it and then they wait expectantly for you to automatically buy it. I have had to tell them 3x that no, I just wanted the price and it is too high. They have all kinds of products scattered around on the register counter that are unpriced. Even cases of brands that have just come in are unpriced. They have a rickety shelf filled with one off items or several of the same. All are unpriced . It looks like a sale self. No these are discontinued items, but no price break. To price them you have to bring them to the register. I am sometimes asked if I found what I wanted. I have many times complained about the lack of pricing and they have never seen it as being an issue. I tell them I am so tired of it that if there is no price I now stop to consider buying the item. They have no reaction. I remember a once dynamic, proud local chain called Ber biglia also go down hill like this, finally going out of business. This Gomers seems to be following such a parallel path. If there was another late night store in the area, I would go there

i've never seen pot still reserve going for that high but $54.99 is a great price on willett 4 year rye.

If you wanna see a crazy selection of highly allocated stuff go to LP mart at 880 W 141st Terrace, Kansas City, MO 64145. It's very close to the Lukas near Martin City. All the Pappy's, a full rainbow of Weller's, etc. In a gas station of all places.

I live here. Great selection, horribly inflated prices. They think they're a secondary instead of a retailer. I would love to buy from them but I'm not paying a 30% premium.
