On the larger Napkin Holder, you could make a flat piece of wood on each end to hold your salt & pepper.
that is such a cool add on idea! Thanks for watching
This is really what you need to build for eyeglasses: I Built an Heirloom Jewelry Box (and it's REALLY fancy) ua-cam.com/video/inug5ujvQXU/v-deo.html I was close to your place a couple weeks ago at Webers having a burger and shake on my way home from kayaking and fishing up north. I’ve watched a few videos Dave, keep up the good work.
Great video and projects. I really like the triangle shelf and I would suggest one addition, add a couple more keyholes and that gives the end user the option to hang it point up or point down. I liked the second napkin holder better and would only think a couple of spline added would add a touch of style, strength and give you just the option to increase the price. Thanks for sharing and love the projects!
Hey great ideas, and I agree, splines on the second one would definitely spruce it up a bit! Thanks for watching!!
@@TimberDesigns thank you, now I just need to get off my butt and put some of these ideas into a finished product! 😄
@thomlindgren6253 you're most welcome, that's what it's all about!
Great ideas! Love the napkin holders. Going to give those a try! Thanks for another great watch 👍🏻
Of course, thanks so much for your support!
dude your projects are so awesome they help me out a lot for craft fairs.
That's awesome, so glad I could help!
Dark side of the moon for me too!
Nice!
stupid
Great video as always
Thanks Mike!
What the hell is with American and Canadians adding a h to the end the word height. The word is height. Not heighth.
Not sure what you mean, but thanks for watching
Love the projects. The bottle/csn opener was hard to see in the video.
Thanks Don for watching! Apologies about that, I noticed and am trying to modify the video
Good job and projects thx for sharing enjoyed it Keep building Cheers
Thanks so much for watching, will do!
Only recently found your channel.. love the projects and am liking as many as I can
Thanks so much for watching Karl appreciate the support!!
Love the Pink Floyd inspired shelf and the two napkin holders great projects👍🏻
Thanks so much!
Cool projects. Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Another great woodworking project brother!
Thank you sir, appreciated!
Great Video as always Dave. Thanks for always providing useful content.
Thanks so much!
Hey bud, you do an awesome job. You should post plans?
Thanks so much Chris! Yes I am working on doing digital plans, just have to get used to the software and learn how to use it better 😁
I really enjoyed this video. New subscriber after watching your shop tour! Great Job!
Thanks so much!!
@@TimberDesigns I really like your way of presenting your content. I feel like we are 2 friends working the shop together.
I'm really happy to hear that Dr Dave, my hope was that it comes across that way also, cause that's what it's about 😁
@@TimberDesigns I will eagerly await more videos Thanks my friend.
There's another releasing tomorrow at 9am, so stay tuned and thank you for your support! 😁
Nice but at first I thought it was a small picnic table.
Ha fair enough, similar angles 😁
I’d be impressed if you said no power tools… this shit is a joke.
To each their own
I'd say a pocket whole jig is a specialty tool
Maybe a little bit, but at least it's a cheap one 🙂
@@TimberDesigns mine was 180$ cad
Wow, I have to $40 Kreg one
Great work you should do a series of project builds like this with minimal or just hand tools. It wasn’t till recently that I just started working with a couple pieces of 2 x 4 sheets of plywood that I had to build like a cat tree for my cat and to make a few things around my shop like Jiggs for my knife sheaths. Like I don’t have a lot of power tools I got a couple hand drills and a circular saw, but that was left out in the rain and winter by a roommate so that’s probably garbage now I’ve literally just been using a handsaw a file and chisel like an inch and a half chisel and I got this small like 1/8 Chisel and I’ve literally just been doing all my work which is those tools. Sorry I am digressing what I mean to say with all this is I was very hesitant about trying to do any woodworking projects because I didn’t have the “proper tools”. You don’t really need the proper tools.
Thanks for watching, and that's a great idea. Perhaps I will look into a build more with less series. Thanks again!
Good job and thank you for sharing Keep building
Thanks for watching!
Thx for sharing
Thanks for watching!
Looks great and thanks for sharing Keep building
Thank you!
You wear three or four hats at a time were your mum and dad brother and sister ?
I think I may have misspoke a little bit in the video, I only wear one hat at a time lol. Thanks for watching
Great video! How wide are the uprights for the plant stand?
Thank you, I will be posting the dimensions to the description shortly 😁
So the uprights are 4 inches wide 😁
Thank you!
You're welcome!
Like the last piece. Well done. Definitely subscribed.
Thanks so much!
Love these!! Definitely making the hat holder for my husband!!
Amazing, thank you for watching!
That looks like the same Katz Moses style router fence I made for my router wing. I guess great minds think alike! 😉
Guess so 😁. Thanks for watching
I just love your third project, the plant holder it is very beautiful. Thank you for showing me how to make it.
You're so welcome, thanks for watching!
cool thnx
Of course, thanks for watching!
Great job and projects they look amazing Keep building
Thanks so much Larry!
Plant stand turned out great
Thank you! It is one of my favorite pieces!
Could you share the sizes you cut the pieces at thx
Sure can, I will reply with the dimensions tomorrow 😁
I thought this video was to teach me how to make a key holder. Turned out to be an advertisement for a laser engraver.
Hey there, it was to show how to build it, the laser engraver was just an add on bonus is all, but not needed 😁
Good video. The toaster tongs are cool. Around here they'd never be where they were the last time you saw them. And we don't have any kids either. lol I've never like wearing hats much but the area I live in hats are worn a lot so the hat caddy would sell. The plant stand would sell also but not as well as the hat caddy. Gun racks would sell around here. Fishing rod holders would too. You might could make a video on building some those for your viewers.
Hey Daniel, thanks those are great ideas! I do have a lot of rods that are stood up right now, so maybe that will be next 😂. Thanks for watching!
Great Projects! Really like the cherry stand 🤘🏼
Thanks so much Kat!
New sub today. I really liked the plant stand! Very original idea and can be made to look rustic or beautifully finished.
Thanks so much, it's one of my favorites as well!
Great video. Just wondering, you've got a drum sander behind you, why didn't you use it on the hat rack? Blessings!!!
Hey there, yes a spindle/belt sander. Good point, i could have used this however, I bought the sander used and found out it was missing a few parts to hold the spindles in place, so I still have to get them.
@@TimberDesigns 👍
To show people that haven't got drum sanders that it's an accessible project for tool-poor/small-workshop enthusiasts! ;)
We’ve got wooden toaster tongs… that my wife made in school 30 years ago in shop class! They’re awesome haha 👌
😂 Nice!! They are pretty cool actually. Very useful for that and playing with kids 😁
Those are really cool projects, I really like the plant holder. Great job.
Thank you! That one was my favorite also, and my wifes too (she already had it used up and wants another haha). Glad you enjoyed the video!
Best way to tell if a wood worker knows their stuff… the direction they feed their thickness planer sled in. I always laugh when I see people feed it in with the butt stop going in last 🤦♂️ And yeah, a straight edge jig is a must have. The fence on my saw isn’t perfectly straight, it’s got a tiny deflection in in middle. Grrrrr…. So I just glued and screwed a board to a runner for the miter slot. I’m not to the point where I have cool clamps like that yet, so just use double sided tape to stick the piece I’m cutting. Or the old blue tape and CA glue trick. Works like a charm 👍
Yes, definitely need to have the planer sled butt stop first so it pushes the sled through. If what your doing on the table saw works, then that's all that matters. Thanks for watching!
how many thousands of dollars worth of equipment do I need for this 😅
Twice as large as my shop. My shop is in a 12x20 barn/shed. I'm still in the beginning of setting it up.
Nice, nothing wrong with that! 😁
I'm curious how you hung the board. Attached hanger or slotted key holes? I would think you would want it firmly fixed since you are sliding something into the slot to keep from pulling it off the wall.
Hey Daniel, so I originally was going to use two sided tape, which I did, but I didn't like how it was hanging. So, I ended up cutting two keyslot holes with the router and hanging it with two screws into drywall plugs, which I felt a lot better about 😁.
Thanks for starting out with the project finished item and the tools needed 👌
You're welcome!
