That's one of those things that seems overly obvious once someone else points it out. Nicely done.

I'm really happy to hear that Dr Dave, my hope was that it comes across that way also, cause that's what it's about 😁

Thank you for your comment and a great idea, still working on the multiple camera setup. I will be sure to include that in the next video and more going forward! 😁

Great built.I used laminate flooring thus gaining some 10mm cutting depth.

Will have to take another look at this video at a later date as everything here is on a holding pattern.

I like this! I guess you could make another one for 45 degree cuts to make French cleats. Right? I like your videos. New subscriber here. 🤩

Thanks so much for subscribing! I do have a short on french cleats, but no cutting in it. Perhaps to come soon 😁

Perhaps look at rubber or other no slip material to put under the base to keep the track steady for a long cut

    • @TimberDesigns

That's a great idea! A strip of rubber can be placed under the cut edge (so it doesn't ruin the splinter guard), in the middle and at the backside

I actually got it from Amazon for around $40! Its a really nice waxed canvas. Here is a link to the exact one I bought on Amazon:
Upgraded Woodworking Shop Apron with Magnetic Pocket,Waxed Canvas Work Apron with Multiple Pockets for Men, Waterproof Shop Apron Cross- Back Strap & Adjustable from M to XXL a.co/d/9iLX7zF
It's so handy with all the pockets, a towel ring, tape holder and more 😁
