Thank you, thank you, thank you!! This is a miracle fix. Worked perfectly. I didn't even rename the file until after it had converted it, I just picked a different destination folder than the original files, and renamed it once it was there. Thanks for discovering and sharing this.

dude joon, thanks for video. hey i made a sample set for a label. all went well the guy that cleaned up the files for me sent both windows and mac versions and they're encrypted. he is no longer reachable on the internet. all the samples - there are about 2000 are spoken word and there was a simple way to decrypt them. luckily all the samples are spoken within the context long sentences said by a voice over artist but who wants to gather them that way. do you know a way to de-crypt (if that's the term) these files? they are NOT corrupted, it's a simple process but i've forgotten. thanks either way.
