This trailer was shown at E3 which I attended in 2020.
The building where the expo took place was so beautiful. It had no electricity.
Fortunately I brought a laptop with a full battery. I was able to play this trailer seventy-five times on repeat. The audience was impossible to see in the dark but I could hear them cheering for me. Everyone was cheering. They cheered for nine hours.
I had never been to E3 before. I learned so much and met so many creative and interesting people. The engine room was haunted by ghosts.
After sunset, I unpacked my drapes and slept next to a rusty pipe. I drank tea from my thermos but the tea had long gone cold. I did not dream. The next morning I went outside and waited for a plane to take me back home. However no plane arrived. No plane was coming. There have never been any people here.
I stood in the long grass for many days and many nights in that barren field beyond the edge of town. I considered weeping but I could not find time for it on my Google Calendar. I'm so happy, thank you for your support.

Do you think now that there are so many portable consoles that you would consider a port? Don't know if it's technically possible for it to run in something like a ANBERNIC RG35XX for example.

Really cool demo, love the vibes. Was just thinking it might be interesting if there were HP-related constraints aside from zero or not-zero, so that the player has something to consider before the finishing blow. For example, what if some enemies gave you a bonus if you kept their HP on only odd numbers as you damage them?

I discovered this game thanks to MythyMoo, I saw a single minute of gameplay and paused that video to go find it. I was heart broken to see just a demo but I am so excited to play this on release day. SO excited.

I only recently discovered this game from Alpha Beta Gamer, and I absolutely love the style! Keep up the great work :D From the previous dev log videos to this, it seems like the UI/overall display is much closer to what it looks like rn
Thought I'd leave a new recent comment here for anyone new. Never backed the game but did first find out about it a couple years ago, looks different than from this trailer, better imo. Should be coming out soon. (though I understand that was also the case a couple years ago) That said, a demo is currently up for the game on steam, and having just tried it out, it's fucking great.
I'm going to be honest, I just beat the demo for this game, and I cannot overstate how genuinely excited I am to play this entire game. I tried about 20 demos from Steam Next Fest, and this was by far my favorite.
Looks incredible, is it coming to the Epic Store? Steam is very expensive here in the Middle East.

Playtester here (not like it matters much for this question) and yeah, Sixe is the only human being (probably) working on this project since 10+ years.
@@alsartsavience3512 that is mind-boggling! I'm so happy for today's tech allowing for passionate devs to take on projects like this on their own, even though it's probably an insanely heavy process. I've also been watching the development of Neyyah for quite a while, which is also a one-man-job, with a little external help. With only one vision, these type of games can turn into very potent experiences!

For some reason it feels like this game was announced in another universe...
I really hate it when I find amazing-looking projects that have been abandoned. This is the cruelest vaporware I've ever seen.
Seriously though, if this project isn't abandoned, I could go for some sort of proof. 1 tweet a year about it for the last 2 years isn't very reassuring, although I get it because post-2020 has been wild for everyone. Man I just love the art style of this game, it's seriously perfect, that's why I want it to exist so bad.

late to this comment, but the game wasn't ever abandoned and there's even a demo out as of february! i won't oversell things and say the demo is The Perfect Experience Ever and you'll transcend after playing it, but it's delightful nonetheless from what i know, backers were able to check in on the game's progress pretty frequently since at least 2018-ish, and there had been lotsa kickstarter updates even before that

RtU will def release. All the naysayers can eat a raw hotdog sandwhich. 6e6e6e is doing an incredible job by himself. Perfection takes time. There are plenty of amazing games to take up your time while waiting for this masterpiece. Keep the faith.
