Beautiful!
My comment was removed!
I didn't remove it.
@@SmallWheelWonder I fully realize that. YT removes things every day from huge numbers of posters!
They have extreme sex phobia.
So here in Europe, a self-built Brompron Titanium with high-end components would be significantly more expensive than the Brompton T-line. Finding parts, postage from Asia or America, customs, sometimes extremely long waiting times for parts, special tools for assembly. Skilled craftsmanship. I've already built a number of bikes... it was always more expensive than I originally thought. 🤔 That's just the price for an individual bike.
This means that there is a big hole on the EU market ready to be filled by new entrepreneurs such as yourself ;-)
Scomadi
This a trump like ramble , totally bonkers
I have not heard Trump ramble about micro transport but with Elon joining the team, perhaps he'll change his mind.
Very strange decor!
That was sweet!
Lots of your criticism is on point, but i do really cherrish the backwards compatibility with the bromptons and i think that's probably one of the main reasons why they don't jump the gun to "modern" designs. To me it is by far exceeding its tasks and until now, because of the lack of value retainment and lack of options as well as lack of backwards compatibility and last but not least the bigger dolfing size, no other folding bikes have convinced me thus far. The explorations of titanium aren't of interest to me, the alumimium approach of dahon seems fine, never had a chance to try it though, but overall i'm quite happy with where bromptons are going.
The new titanium models break backward compatibility, which is one of my arguments against them.
Hope it will be able to keep 120-140 km/h non stop without overheating. For me it will be enough
so how much does it weigh?
8kg
Would quickly become hugely popular in America!
How does one trust regular food there?
Don't eat bugs.
Enjoyed that. Owned multiple scooters here both bigger and smaller. The Honda Monkey (with training wheels) would work for me now. Would use to tow my beloved Hase Lepus' to distant bicycle paths. They DO make some ugly scooters now. Yeow!
If you're into cycling, sooner or later you will also have a scooter or motorcycle 🏍 😉
And.., the taste results are? (Wink, wink?)
I passed on the tasting.
Imagine all those tiny scooters being cars! Too, too sweet to see beautiful logic!
I put a 64 tooth chainring on my tsr
Wow! Would love to see pics.
Brompton was not optimized for lightness, but rather compact fold and reliability. If you're looking for a high-performance lightweight bike, Brompton is not it. Brompton's sweet spot is the steel frame. If you prioritize lightness over everything else, don't get a Brompton.
I couldn't have said it better myself. 👏
During a visit to Bali, I also met rain absurdly filling the walks between the huts in our Motel.
Rainy season.
Owned chickens and turkeys before. A block away, chickens roam around a house on less than 1/2-acre. Love seeing them in multiple places from houses, not farms!
Even made prettier by those colorful roofs shown.
Wow! That would be fun to repeatedly visit! Not a vegetarian here, but I do SO love animals, I could become one!
The brompton is that much because they have to subsidize their employees' bottom surgeries
:-))
Buying a Brompton is for nerds. (I might be one of them) Buying a titanium Brompton for over € 4.000,- is for freaks. But this video is next level🫣
:-))
I hv no issue with the logo graphic design of prodrive. Its the whole design of the bike hv issue. The folding is not as compact as brompton. Its chassic design, look like a cheap ripoff of the vintage lotus bike. Its just not practical to own one. Most ppl who get brompton, do commuting alot & required the bike to fold as compact as possible. Style come secondary.
The Prodrive is more performance oriented but can be used for commuting just as well. The folded size differences are discussed in the video.
You might want to also look at the Vello, made in Austria, particularly the titanium models. I've owned a Brompton for years, and they're great for urban commuting, but I think the Vello bikes, with their 20" wheels, look better for longer journeys and train / plane cycling holidays.
See my cargo bike video for some insights on the brand.
You take the red one. I'll take the yellow one! Cutie mini vans...
In yellow too! Oh, yeah!

IMO, with Moultons you don't have to go with the most expensive models, although their fit and finish is WAY above the cheaper models and in the top tier among all bicycles of similar prices. Personally, I would get a 2x SST model. It is more like 23lb than 20, but saving that 3lb costs some $10,000. For a fraction of that, you can upgrade with a carbon stem and bars, saving half a pound. Building new wheels with light carbon rims, fewer and lighter spokes can knock off another half pound, and TPU tubes another quarter pound. Knock of 1/8 lb with Jagwire segmented cable. Wear out the chainrings and put on last year's top carbon crank and knock of half a pound for not a ton of money.
Correct. What you build is always way cheaper and often better as well.
I think I saw a Prodrive this week when I was on my way to work cycling my Brompton here in Belgium. At first I thought, weird looking frame Brompton but it was to far away to see any sticker. I was thinking about what it could be and your channel now shows what it probably was. Never ever seen it here but I hope to have a talk to the person riding it.
Wow!
For the price of Moulton you can order a custom frame (and everything else). Overpriced crap in my mind.
Custom builds have been discussed in several recent videos.
It is SO georgius in that yellow picture "frame" too!
That seat also looks extremely comfortable too!
It is.
Georgius, Tiny FUN! Simply beautiful bicycle! The RR Station and tracks both spell FUN!
miserable video
its the folding size
T Line - 8.8kg P Line - 10.5kg P Line is almost half the cost, keeps the classic look, has better compatibility with existing Brompton parts. And many would prefer the P Line's titanium fork, vs carbon.
Absolutely. The fact that they have this model proves that the T-Line didn't work out as well as planned.
I agree the cheaper Bromptons are best bang for buck, better than the P Line. But I would get the P, not the T, if I wanted a "nicer Brompton".
I've been examining the Prodrive with belt drive and Shimano 8-speed hub. This system uses a grip shift. I've never liked this, especially with sweaty hands like my own. Can the grip shift be easily converted to a click type shifter?
yes
I've been waiting impatiently for this video!!! Yay!!! It's here. _Let's go!!!_ Prodrive ruined Hummingbird !!! The logo looks like it's from an auto parts store. It's hideous. The website sucks too. It's soooo sad. Also, Brompton's fold, ease of rolling, and luggage capacity is unbeaten, though you might persuade me to get a Hummingbird over the T-Line. I 100% agree with you about how awesome scooters are. I ride an Oxelo Town 9 and I love it. _I'll be back._
can i suggest growing your youtube channel.
Is it not growing?
You can make as many points for and against the Brompton but for me, it is the best money I’ve ever spent. I love my Brompton as I’ve never loved any of the other bikes I’ve ever owned. It changed my life. I have a simple 3 speed hub version. It is - for me - perfect. When I get old and weaker I’ll probably buy a Swytch kit for it.
The steel frame is recommended on this channel. It is the one I own, myself. Read my book and you'll be able to do a lot better than a closed kit.
Sir the 16 inch 1.75 could be possible to fit?
No way! You have to replace the extremities for that.
Those are needed in America!
You are a wonderfully and incredibly rare person!
There are many greenheads....
Love It
❤❤
Cut
It's a simple brand change from Hummingbird to Prodrive!!!
I have seen notes that the eastern titanium frames may not be strong enough to hold a heavy European? But I have bought a lot of titanium and carbon parts for my 2019 Superlight, now weighing below 9 kilo, as a similar T-line with mudguards! And for a much lower price! Finn. Denmark
Brompton really missing a trick here. They just can't be bothered to develop the product.
They don't need to. They have people buying their bikes regardless. They are a brand that is overrated for what they are. That's why I never bought one.
Dude, YOU have NO CLUE, Your Statement that you CAN'T GET a saddle that is TOO WIDE is COMPLETE BULL $HIT. Apparently YOU have NEVER HEARD of THIGH CHAFING?
