I'm definitely not in the market for these bikes but my 2 cents is why didn't Brompton just have a carbon fiber frame? since the fork is and the frame looks like it's trying to look smooth like carbon fiber or hydro formed without being simply hydro formed
Great comparisons. The Brompton's trump card is that it has a better, faster, and more compact fold than the Birdy. Also, I love the modern carbon fiber fork on the Brompton and the dull titanium finish. Stealthy and, like you said, doesn't draw attention to itself. The Birdy says, "Steal me now!" I don't like unnecessary disc breaks on folding bikes and the front fork on the Birdy looks odd to me. It's heavy and far more disjointed than the Brompton fork. I'm sure the Birdy is a faster, more comfortable ride though. To be fair, I've never ridden a Birdy so I defer to you but I can go into a nice restaurant with a Brompton and keep it with me under the table. This is a tough call me. I'm split between these two bikes as is. If I could customize the T-Line like on the "Brompton Premium Parts Channel" I'd much rather have the Brompton than the Birdy Titanium.
Ditch that monster intro.
Always fascinated by technical content.
Not a monster but the CEO of Brompton.

Maybe because their hinge requirement now that I think about it, it could be too risky, yet I've seen it done from other smaller "off-brands"
Because they're f'ing stupid.
Hoping to get the birdy classic evo exclusive from Japan. The birdy TI intro price was at 6kuSd too
The Classic is what I had.

As with the Brompton, you are better off getting a basic Birdy and tune it to the sky.
@@SmallWheelWonder Yes, I thought about this option too.
They make Ti mainframes at 1.5mm abroad, so is Brompton being over cautious?
Sloppy....
