And my old 2019 Brompton brakes without any problems at all! Down a steep serpentine road with often "full stops" before passing several sets of "Cattle Bars" on foot, in spite of initial doubts before my "Dive" from the top, my Brompton brakes never let me down!!! I have added titanium parts to my brakes also, but still looking fully standard. Finn. Denmark
You don't buy a Brompton for its ride, but for its fold! My much modified and former 2019 SuperlightM6LXBrompton, with mudguards, now weighs below - 9 kilo and I could make a very few, expensive additions to come even further down (Like a new, also Flame Painted, titanium stempost from China (Besides a new titanium frame, also China))! And it still looks like a "Standard Version" all over. Hardly anyone are able to se the changes, besides my saddle. Finn. Denmark
@@SmallWheelWonder You are able to do on a Brompton what you do on an ordinary bike, but it takes more effort to do it, from the rolling resistance of the small wheels. My old and extremely lightweight, Vision Kilo based, fully Shimano XTR MTB, with Shimano hydraulic, double caliber, oversize disc brakes and - 700C wheels, is also a "Folding Bike", as I may remove both wheels during transport in a minor bag for the purpose 😄! Finn. Denmark
Why does the cable extend so long and ungainly, almost the diameter of the front wheel? I rode the X-11 and loved it. Faster and more comfortable than the T-Line for my 6' tall 155 pound frame. I didn't like the fold, though, nor the awful magnet clasps so I passed on it.
Definitely not a classic bike, but a formidable competitor to Brompton if you consider the average Joe customer. The cable is long to accommodate the fold. The Birdy does a better job there and most other places, but it also costs more.
Brother, answer me this please…I like the form factor of these bikes but I don’t need the foldable aspect. Does such bike exist in this form (small wheeled) but not foldable? Thank you friend.
@@SmallWheelWonder The engineering seems a little overwrought on those, what makes them the best? At least they no longer insist on the completely inane 17” wheel size…

Not true in my case, and that is a great topic for another video.

Look up mini velo
Moulton makes the best small wheel bikes, and they do offer models that are not separable.

I have done several videos on the Moultons.
Bring Your Bike = BYB
My interpretation is even more insightful, isn't it?
Be Yond Brompton, obviously.
