Bro can you pleeeeeeaaaseee do a something like this but for video fx? I would be so insanely thankful. Like including camera tracking etc
Hey! Salut! Projects from ur portfolio , all of this was made in Blender ? You was used Octane ? Cycles?
Hi im a carpenter. I would like to use it for scannig staircases. Is it possible?
Interesting. To retred them?
Cycles has been able to render nice caustics physically accurate since Blender 3.2. No need for a hacky shader. it just has to be enabled per object. See object properties -> Shading -> caustics Cycles offers so great flexibility with procedural materials and effects, I'd not replace it for any other renderer at the moment.
I use cycles only but have to admit. Even tho it's capable to render shadow caustics, those are not as good or performant as octane... But yes, you can enable it and it looks decent! (better than the addon, but havier to compute)
@@JohnnyDavila Oh yes Octane is certainly better at it than Cycles no doubt. It just doesn't rationalize the switch for me. Caustics are not that important in most scenes.
@ agreed!
I love the caustics, it does look great. For me, I just don't think it's worth it to switch from cycles to octane only based on that.
Cycles is fast. At least as fast as Redshift. But, when you get to certain type of projects.. man, cycles is no longer the right option.
@ can you elaborate? I'd love to learn about the limitations of cycles in professional pipelines
@@JohnnyDavila Just try to make a high end commercial with glass and some translucent rocks, like amber or diamond or marble. And why not, some SSS materials. It can be done for sure, but if you compare the realism and the feature set with Octane or Arnold, it's not in the same league.
Will you be able to switch from octane blender to normal blender in one click, because sometimes my power randomly cuts out then that kinda messes with my enternet, then i have to wait almost an hour for the enternet to get fixed
Yup you can switch back and forth. The nodes are different though.
Okay this is great advice but how do you use the actual camera with the app? Is the app on the computer? Also is it free?
Thanks a lot 🫡🙏

Hi man! Im from argentina, I've not idea about 3D photo. Its my first time with this. Great video. I'll subscribe! Thanks a lot.
hope u make more tutos !!! so good
can u please make a tuto on the blanket vfx ! so beaauutiful can't beleive its made in blender
Great Vid, I found this TUT that opened up the blender tracker so much more than I expected. Long but worth a watch ua-cam.com/video/eyWwQ5NZfes/v-deo.htmlsi=oInScYYGefG8glHU
🔥Thank you for the content! great video.
Thanks I appreciate that 🙏🏽
nuke and 3d equalizer ig some of the best camera trackers and solvers and mocha is good for mesh tracking no one uses it in the industry
That’s good to know, thank you!
🔥
😍 so cool
Very inspirational - I would love to see another video showing concepting thought to execution :)
I was trying to look up videos on this scanner and couldn't find a good one. This poped in my feed and was a perfect breakdown / comparison. Thank you so much for this.
You are very welcome!
This guy is underrated
"Wait They don't love you like I love you" Mello tune 🤙🤙
not sure! filmora 14 has a good ish one havent tested it myself tho, i just basic edit with it,
OMG SO UNDERRATED ❤
the glass objects pics are awesome and the tutorial on them was amazing! Thanks for sharing the journey!
Thank you so much I really appreciate that!
What’s one technique that looking back made the most difference in taking the photo realism up a notch?
Honestly probably HDRI lighting and subtle scratch textures on objects. Also focus distance and focal length. Which can all be pretty subtle but it adds up.
Lock down made us all fail or adapt
Facts! Definitely some pivotal moments
Very helpful. Thankyou
0:42 Please teach how to do this!! insane
Can it still be done if the image is not 360? What about a very wide image? Amazing tutorial, it was easy to follow, you gained a subscriber!
awesome mate, cinema4D/redshift user here coming to the end of my subscription. Going to test the waters with this going through Octane makes it a bit less daunting.
I really need tutorial how to merge two scans. I scanned sole separately and I want to merge it to remove the hole.
22:15 lolol hahahaha I know it's sick hahahah
You got another sub
DOOPPPPEEEE another Blender Octane User Love it keep posting Bro
Thanks! Yeah people tell me there isn’t enough Blender Octane content on UA-cam but it looks like you’re the #1 source!
thanksss..would my pc handle this? i have amd ryzen 5 5600x 16gb ram gigabyte geforce 4060ti?
Yes, should not have any problem but it still depends on what the scene is.
@@popularimagination thanks
4060!! ofcourse it is, your pc wil handle anything 3d related!
I got a gtx 970 and an Hella (like minimum 5 years old) i7 12k
man! this is really interesting
Oh this is so exciting! Thanks for the tutorial, Andre!!
You’re very welcome!
What is the best way to also get the bottom of the shoe? I need to do this and need to feature the sole of the shoe in my final render so how can I best clean up the bottom with a perfect sole while still using a spray paint can to hold up the shoe?
🔥🔥🔥🔥 how??
THAT looks real
What’s it like for scanning large objects? I want to scan my van interior to do a van conversion?
Cool!
Looks hella uncomfortable
@@Mattyprokton it’s a metal chair what do you expect
😂
The new one being releaseed on the 18th has it
As what... Boooooooo
Witch software are u using ?
The Revopoint software
@@popularimagination Thank you, do you use it even for the scan with the r5 ?
how do you link up the canon?
Hi. It was interesting and useful. Now I definitely don't consider buying scanners. Why are you talking about only full-frame cameras? Wouldn't an APC matrix be suitable for photo scanning? What are the advantages and differences, besides depth of field? I need it for 3D scenes and illustrations and visualization. Thanks.
how do you export this then to be interactive on a website?
I haven’t really ever done that unfortunately!
nice
Nah thats clear legos
😂
