What can you buy for $485 at an auction full of vintage drag racing parts, engines, car parts, tools, and even a few old school front engine dragsters? I really wanted the Sam Brown Dodge dragster, it was a Logghe chassis! No, I did not buy one of the dragsters, but I wish I could have! My dad and I went to an auction this weekend and scored some deals! So, what did I buy? Heritage and horsepower! A lot of this old stuff is getting harder and harder to find, and I do not want to see it sent to scrap. I bought four complete generation 1 Hemi engines and a Poly 318 engine. I also scored a ton of 392 and 426 aluminum race rods that are made by BME, Mickey Thompson, Howards, and Keith Black! Oh, I even scored a ton of 392 and 426 Hemi race pistons! They are made by Venolia, Mickey Thompson, and Arias! Vintage speed parts are so cool!!
