I agree that everyone needs to become better aware of how fast circumstances can unfold against us while we are innocent being good neighbors at the time. Several weeks ago I came across an abandoned cell phone on the sidewalk that was open and still working. I stooped to pick it up while being a good neighbor. Then while walking past that parking lot I then spotted a police car. Since the police car was just sitting there with 2 policemen sitting in it while they were observing what was going on street level then I motioned for them to roll down their window to ask them where I should turn in that lost cell phone. They told me that I had to walk to the nearest police station in order to turn that cell phone in while that could wait until the next day if I chose to do so at my convenience. I went to the nearest police station with it promptly while not wanting to get involved in that situation more than that. What if I instead had through some really bad luck had turned it in at the university building to the wrong person -a security guard in the hallway not as well trained- right across from that parking lot instead during the same week that a lockdown had taken place there after one student had threatened another.

Basically lawyers get paid from all this ish. Don’t ever be alone with people without witness anymore, and also stay away from people unless you have a giant savings for attorney fees. So don’t exist unless you have money. People are skeevy and the justice department is busy.

Thank you! I think the abusers are the accusers and there using the justice system to continue the abuse. The system needs to be strengthend and perhaps a little harder for people to get restraining orders . I've seen couples argue and it's like this who ever calls first doesn't go to jail. The abused are not the ones receiving the help. The system is literally helping the abuser . It's really broken.

If there are false accusations, then the individual (victim) has the right to know of these accusations. How can you navigate a situation/accusations if you do not know what they are ?!? I was wrongfully accused of stealing 90 thousand dollars worth of diamonds. I'd just left my job and the accuser was my ex employer. I was arrested, put in handcuffs in front of my neighbours. Had my house turned upside down and thrown in a cell. She had told the police that I was the only one in the house when this stuff went missing. I was never alone in the house. She had numerous staff and friends and family who were either at the house or called in throughout the day. I gave the police a list of the other staff names, family members and friends that had been in the house in my final week there. When the police told her they needed to interview these people, she immediately dropped the charges. My lawyer told me to get in touch with insurance fraud, as he suspected this was an insurance job. Months later my sobbing ex boss called me and apologised. She told me she'd found the diamonds in her bedside draw! This was three years ago but I still feel traumatised by what she did.

I was falsely accused of a hit and run (I parked my jeep and trailer on my lot then took my other car to the store). A neighbor called the police after I left. There was no accident when I parked so I left. I have tried to have a lawyer represent me in this matter (Malicious Prosecution). The charges ended up being dropped because there were no scratches on either vehicle, evidence on her video surveillance that there was no connection between the vehicles. I can't find an attorney to help. Please HELP!!

Useless advice. "When somebody does x to you,start shoveling money on an attorney so in 9 years the court may or may not decide against you". When somebody does rotten to you, have a "nephew".
