Hello bro" i am speking from bangladesh" How much will the whole setup of a saw mil'that can cut 7 feet thick and 20 feet iong round logs without wheels.please let me know.thank you..!❤️
Im trying to figure out my tensioner, and with your design it looks great for tension, but not great for adjusting the angle of the wheel. For your tensioner pillow blocks, did you have to weld the studs allowing very little adjustment of the pillow blocks?
amazing build !!! that looks really sturdy , i see people have already asked about plans , did you have anything to go off of for this project , also i really like your tensioner set up is that acme rod you used im in the process of building a mill and i may go offf of what you have done hear do you by any chance have any more in depth video on the tensioner thanks would also love to hear if you have had any problems with your set up thanks
I had one of those exact motors on a Norwood sawmill and it had a major failure. I had to have it rebuilt. The guy who rebuilt it said it was over-revved So basically the rpm was set too high. Which I guess was my fault for not making sure it was set to specs but, I would go with Honda.
I’ll have to check on that, thanks for watching!
@ main thing is just make sure the RPM is set to within specs. I like the mill build, and definitely want to do one someday. What was the paint you used for the metal frame?

I was hoping to see you put a large red oak on it with a fork lift! I don’t doubt that it is sturdy enough to handle it! Great build! Better than factory! 👍
Here is a simple project you can make. This one I also fabricated myself from the custom sized axle to the trailer to the carriage holding the saw. ua-cam.com/video/Oq7fOd_O5yM/v-deo.html I am tickled pink as to how well it turned out and mills up to 12' 6" long timbers (as shown) 5-1/2" X5-1/2" with only a 10" blade.
What is cost of this
Why the upgrade...
Just fixing some things i didn’t like. Also to accommodate the hydraulics I’m adding
Didn’t show much on up and down motor
What did you spray before painting
Great job but did you build it for Fort Knox it can double for a trackhoe trailer it won’t bend or break
Im planning to bild also mine here in zambian but lucking the engine
Good work my brother
Thank you!
@@cornettcarpentry where did you bought the wheels or i send you money. You buy for me there?
@@chiilehermit9466you can buy them off eBay
Excellent build mate. We'll done
Thank you!
Why do the auto feed thru the log and walk with it ?
Uuuum, why not pull the roofing and fix the existing roof!! Oh yeah, that would make sense!!!!😂😂😂
Thank you for your comment, To answer your question I didn’t feel like wasting time tearing off the metal and cedar shakes, then having to clean them up and haul it all off. By keeping it all on I saved time, money and it kept everything inside dry. Others might do it differently but this is what I came up with and just wanted to share the idea 👍🏻
@cornettcarpentry I can appreciate you wanting to save time and money. But you could create bigger issues down the road. Good luck, sir! 😊
@@ericeverett6134Thank you sir!
Oh hell no. Dodgy bros are us.
Add thousands of lbs to a roof 😂
I don’t think that’s a big deal. For example my roof has a surface area of about 1000 sqft. If you add 2000lbs and displace it over that area it’s only 2lbs/sqft
Will you be adding ventilation to the roof and attic? I never seen anyone go over top of an existing metal roof but I like it and am gonna do it on the next one I need to fix 💪🏼
Yes it will be ventilated
pretty sure if the roof is crooked, than the whole house is crooked
You would be correct. Lucky I already fixed the rest of the house too
Does this guy actually know what he’s talking about?
No not really
Thank you ! More of this please !
Glad you enjoyed. I’ll try to share some more stuff on this project
Be careful up there. It looks like that roof has a slope to it.
Will do!
I don't think he's Secret Service.😂😂😂😂😂😂

Boa noite poderia passar as medidas por gentileza?
Length - 16” Hight - 10” Width - 9 5/8”
Boa noite, tem as medidas para nos passar por favor?
Nice job! I have that same table saw and I love it.
Yep it’s a good saw
Bro machine wheel rpm very slow
Is there an wheel adjustment to change the tracking of the blade?
Yes, I use the slots in the bearing’s housing. Along with some adjustment screws on the adjacent corners
Amazing. I have questions, what are those white sheets you are using for lift and tension mechanism? And how good are they? Sorry for my English!
Looks like 1/2" delrin
It’s called UHMW. I got it online
God bles.
hi there @ Cornett Carpentry i see you later on upgrade your power-lifting into chain mechanism.what is the downside of the sling system? did it jump too much, since no backwards resistant ? thank you
It was a little choppy and hard to get precise measurements. Also the design on the old cable lift had a limited range of motion. It works fine I just felt like it could be improved
What is the white material that is used to space between the roller and the upright?
It’s called UHMW. I got it online
Love the bandaged fingers
Smashed them at work lol
Great job on the trailer! Planning on building my own soon, you make it look easy.
Thank you, good luck!
👍👍👍💪
New upgrading vdio update
Hermoso trabajo Tendrás las dimensiones de cada corte y la medida de los 12 listones pequeños por favor. Muchas gracias
They are about 3/4 of and inch
What are those plastic shim guides called and where do you get them??
UHMW plastic strip off amazon
have you thought about the sawdust collection? build a drag conveyor alongside the sawmill that feeds out to a dumpster
That would be really cool. I normally hang a bucket under the chute and it does a decent job catching most the dust. Although it fills up pretty quickly
Good stuff. I’m finishing up my mill (for the first time). I’m already thinking about adding hydraulics too. Keep the uploads coming
Thats awesome, good luck on your build. For me it’s a never ending cycle of improving and modifying. Next video is already in the making and will be coming out in the near future!
@@cornettcarpentryLooking forward to it. Curious how you make the hydraulics work. I am using chain lift and power feed with wheelchair motors, but I’m skeptical how reliable they will be long term
I was originally using a wheelchair motor for the power feed. The motor itself worked great but I had a hard time finding a reliable controller for it
Yet another banger 🔥 💯
😎
I like this sawmill because it’s my dream
Glad you enjoyed!
Outstanding workmanship. On Grain tables.
Thank you very much!
Watching you work i said to myself he's a carpenter. Becouse he's lost when it comes to ironwork .
I built this in high school when I was not very experienced with welding and fabrication. I’m now an ironworker by trade and I take pride in my work. There are things in this video that I would do differently sure, But overall I’m glad I stepped out of my comfort zone and acquired knowledge and experience.
@@cornettcarpentry As a 50 year veteran carpenter/contractor at 66 years young I got into steel fabrication to mill the lumber I once stacked as my first job (1974) out of high school before becoming a contractor. Welding is all about getting a good bead on things. Steel is easier to work with because it is always strait wood isn't. ua-cam.com/video/Oq7fOd_O5yM/v-deo.html
Hola, felicitaciones por tu muy buen trabajo! Sólo una pregunta: qué recubrimiento es el que pusiste?
Thank you! I believe I used min wax oil stain
That's not a bandsaw it's a tank way over built
Haha! I’m not an engineer so I just overbuild things…
Muy buen trabajo y bien hecho. Te felicito.
Thank you!
What are you basing your design on?
Nothing in particular just did a lot of research and planning before I started
Looks great!! The only thing i didnt see was a spring assist on the blade tightener to keep things tight asthe blade heats up and expands. Might of missed it tho too. Great job tho
I did not originally install one in the tensioning system, new video coming soon of fixing that and also doing some other cool stuff to the mill
@@cornettcarpentry Awsome 👍 looking forward to it.
