I did mine like this with a 1" allthread tensioner and NO spring. Can you explain to me your experiences with this design BEFORE the spring was added? How did you determine tension and why did you then add a spring later?
Thats awesome, good luck on your build. For me it’s a never ending cycle of improving and modifying. Next video is already in the making and will be coming out in the near future!
@@cornettcarpentryLooking forward to it. Curious how you make the hydraulics work. I am using chain lift and power feed with wheelchair motors, but I’m skeptical how reliable they will be long term
That would be really cool. I normally hang a bucket under the chute and it does a decent job catching most the dust. Although it fills up pretty quickly

I like this sawmill because it’s my dream
Glad you enjoyed!
Good stuff. I’m finishing up my mill (for the first time). I’m already thinking about adding hydraulics too. Keep the uploads coming

I was originally using a wheelchair motor for the power feed. The motor itself worked great but I had a hard time finding a reliable controller for it
Yet another banger 🔥 💯
😎
Good work my brother
Thank you!
@@cornettcarpentry where did you bought the wheels or i send you money. You buy for me there?
@@chiilehermit9466you can buy them off eBay
have you thought about the sawdust collection? build a drag conveyor alongside the sawmill that feeds out to a dumpster

Why the upgrade...
Just fixing some things i didn’t like. Also to accommodate the hydraulics I’m adding
Didn’t show much on up and down motor
New upgrading vdio update
