A step backwards in every way, especially the new idrive. The new interior looks so bad, cheap glossy plastic everywhere. It's sad that salespeople will have to be saddled with having to make excuses for this crap.

Check the configurator, there is no frozen black offered

X3 does not look like family SUV anymore. I hope BMW designers do not copy this to X5.

the front is just ugly

Other than the paint and I'm sure the performance, everything else is a downgrade to me. The interior is too bland, especially the front passenger side. It just feels like something is missing. The cupholders location is awkward. The sport steering wheel on the M50 is OK, although the flat portion is a bit too big imho. But the steering wheel on the base trim is straight weird. It's not round at the top, making it look like some multi angles shape. The tail lights overflow on the body side is also awkward. It would have been nicer to leave it at the arrow shape without the awkward rectangle-ish part that doesn't light up. Keeping my 2023 X1. The redesign on that one actually makes sense. Everything is of good measure and proportion. Hopefully by 2029 BMW won't mess up the X5.

Got 2023 X3. This one looks so cheapened .. All plastics, even door handles, no sun roof, no nice seats for M50. Lost it's soul completely .. From back looks like enlarged Golf 🙈

As a longstanding BMW owner of 30+ years it pains me to say that BMW are losing their way in the premium sector with cheap looking, sparsely equipped and expensive model updates. Nothing excites me in the range whereas Audi seem to be designing and producing technologically improved vehicle lineup which is greatly appealing.

I have to say, I have a 2024 BMW X3 and think it look much nicer on the inside than this does. It looks too much like the X1. Maybe it will be better in person.

I was holding out for the new X3 and man, what a HUGE disappointment. The exterior looks terrible and the interior is a major letdown. I can't say I'm surprised though since BMW has been making poor styling choices across the product range. I'll be spending my money elsewhere.
