How I Prune Lemon Drop #Mangosteen #Garcinia brasiliensis (Before a #Hurricane or #Freeze) #Farming
I should have pruned the tree before Hurricane Milton passed through, but luckily there was no serious wind. I ended up pruning this Garcinia brasiliensis so I could more easily cover the tree when the winter cold comes, and when it's fruiting (with a net so animals don't steal the fruits).

#Cobbler with Over $100 Worth of #Rare #Fruit #Jabuticaba #Mulberry #cooking

There's a million videos of people making cobbler on UA-cam, but you've found the one. Over $100 worth of rare fruit used in this recipe, Red jabuticaba and Red Himalayan mulberry. We tried to used whatever organic ingredients we could, being sugar, flour, butter, salt, baking powder, and fruit. The cook time was a bit longer and the heat temp was set a bit lower, due to the high liquid and sug...

Please enjoy this tour of a private collection located in Central FL, in a microclimate where the owner can grow many fruits that normally wouldn't survive. You'll see species you never thought could survive in the continental United States, let alone zone 9b, FL. This collection is home to the massive Grimal Jabuticaba tree that I planted so many seeds from over the years. Unfortunately the sp...
Could This Be The Most Productive Rare #Fruit #Tree? Lemon Drop #Mangosteen #Garcinia #Farm #Garden

Harvesting almost 20lbs of fruit from a small grafted Lemon Drop Mangosteen (Garcinia brasiliensis)! I believe this is one of the most prolific fruiting trees that I have in my collection, the season is almost 6-7 months of the year, and the small grafted specimens can bear hundreds of fruits at less than 4ft tall and 5yrs of age from grafting. Please enjoy this informational video I put togeth...

Glad you safe! Great vid as always
Hey guys
I missed this content. Do you still have Plinia Rivularis? If so, is it good?
yes im first to fruit in USA I'm pretty sure and it's good, but I only got one fruit so far
That my dawg
hot muscle man
Looks like things worked out. Glad you an the trees made it through even with the power out and all. Look forward to seeing more! I’ll keep in mind the pruning tips. I’m growing in Oregon though, so I’ll likely need em in containers for greenhouse growing during the cold half the year…seedlings though, so hopefully it helps with some cold tolerance…
Why don't you have any artocarpus besides mulberries? Is it a weather thing or a space thing?
I got some out there

Great video as always. Glad to see that your trees survived the hurricanes👍🏽
The pan down was diabolical 🤣
LOOOL nobody noticed tho
you had to really watch it all hahah
I think the intermedia gets over looked because of the size compared to the superior, but I find the skin to be way more edible and not as astringent!
Are you ok? Post a proof of life, aftermath video
Hope all the plants survive the storm, but most of all, you guys stay safe out there!
Stay safe man! Hope there is minimal damage
hope everything survives!!
Stay safe Adam….
i have a 4 year old fruiting red and a 1 year old scarlett. they are potted in 60 percent peat and the rest is a mix of worm castings and pine bark. Ive heard coffee grounds is a good fertilizer as they like acid soil? is this true?
Wow I cant believe you were able to transplant that jaboticaba. I thought it was more sensitive ! Wow!
Which came first, the chicken or the fruit.
My promo code aged well 😊

You make it so stressful! Do you want me to enjoy the taste of the fruit or save the seeds 😂
My wife stole my phone, Adam. Because I say the same thing to her. “Save the seed!”
Hello Adam, you need to do a video of of the aftermath of what happened to your fruit orchard from hurricane Helene.
greenhouse plastic tore off just one section of greenhouse, it was expected, not much damage thankfully and not much rain at all, just winds of about 40-60mph
A little vanilla ice cream on top would be amazing!
I want to get a few of these for my winter greenhouse in southern Ontario.,
Stuck that landing !!! Sweeeet’
Looks amazing
Amigo no vaso começa a produzir com quanto anos tempo?
looks good and can tell much effort was put into the score

Jaboticobbler
😱 Rare fruit cobbler sounds so bomb 💣🫐
You shredded the skate ramps/ tropical property looks awesome too!!!
Some amazing lookin plants. I’m gonna give it my best shot over here in Oregon. Gonna need to use a greenhouse though likely. Bought some annona, duguetia, plinia, Eugenia, psidium, and myrciaria seeds a while ago. Just waiting on fulfillment and shipping. Can’t wait to see everything you have fruiting! Hope the crosses both intentional and accidental are going well!

Oh, my quad Yas Period😂
The orchard/garden, looks amazingly well cared.
Gave my red hybrid holly-tone and started doing more overhead watering. It’s been pushing new growth like crazy and less burnt leaf tips. Great advice on these livestreams!
Hi, after how many years does it bear fruit? Thanks

I have a small plant..I will try it when I retire 😁.. thank you very much

Me: sees a Jabuticaba video and immediately start to salivate - even before the video is open. It has been over 10 years since I last had a jaboticaba fruit and I’m dying to have some again. Jabuticaba trees are heavy thirsty plants. The more they drink, the bigger and healthier their plants will be and bigger and sweeter fruits will be. They start producing after 10 years, although hybrids can produce earlier or if they are cuttings from mature plants. I had a Sabará, the one with larger near dollar sized fruits on my backyard. My grandpa had a few, and this is the best memory I have from childhood: to stick around hearing his stories and eating such delicious fruits, sometimes on the top of 30+ ft tall trees. Also, avoid gripping the trunk or branches since that’s where the fruits come from. You may wipe off the still nearly invisible stems and reduce your crops. Seeing the other fruit trees also brings me memories. Carambola, Atemóia, man… add a Cajueiro (cashew tree) and I will find a way to become your neighbor! For the record, restinga is not a plant but a biome of sandy, acidic and poor nutrient soil from the East region of Brazil, with different species of shrubs and trees and none are called “restinga”. Kudos for keeping a tiny portion of Brazil on your backyard.
love your trees and garden. ❤ greetz
I skated some years ago, you have great balance and talent.
Came here for jabuticaba, stayed for the skateboarding 🙂
Heyy
Looks like I missed out on the fruit boxes. I’ll keep an eye on the website for next time…
