One of the hardest and most beautiful courses I’ve ever played. I’m an 11 handicap, played the tips and was thrilled to get out of there with a 92 and only minus 4 balls. Had a wonderful time. Will definitely be back!🩷

Overall though like yes the houses are kinda close but only on 2-3 holes more than anything. There was like the 4th hole where there was a ball that went through the kitchen window! That sucked, also the solar panels cannot take a hit from a golf ball XD

Played on this a week ago and the greens were dead fast but now hole 3 is now the first hole, but the course quality was prime as well and very well taken care of!

Sand hollow is overrated... sorry, won't play it again. So now I can't trust your review...sorry not sorry.

Checking out your list, I've played here too, while staying at the Aulani. Excellent course, fun, easy playing with the wide fairways (not *easy), and was in excellent condition. I agree that it is the best *public golf course conditions ive ever played in (Sahalee #1 for me). It's a little pricey, whatever, what isn't in Hawaii, worth every penny!

This randomly popped into my cue, well I DO look at course reviews, so not entirely random. Anyway, I'd never look this course up, because I played in '17 and my experience was not good. HOWEVER. It couldn't have been more the opposite of yours. How? Every f-ing shot I had a dude on a lawnmower in my way, I am NOT joking, it drove me and my dad nuts! However it was only like, $30 bucks on GolfNow, we didn't pay more than that the whole week on hotdeals. To pay over $100 to play that course, and in that condition, hell no. If you're on a budget in Vegas, go to Vegas National.

Locals can play here certain months for 60 bucks including lunch. That makes this a better deal. When the course is prime, it’s nice place

Is it worth the drive from Ogden?

Seems like this isn’t as great overall as your other course visits in Oahu such as KoOlina and Royal. Is it cart path only?

Absolutely beautiful How much??

Nice video. I have been lucky enough to travel here for the last 5 years. Even in the COVID days the course was in great condition. During that period you had to being your drink and the snack shop was closed. You were lucky on #8. When the hole is cut on the front you can easily roll the ball into the water. The other point of advice for folks thinking about playing here is the holes 12, 13 and 14are into the trade winds. 12 is the par 3 with the waterfall and then 13 and 15 are par 5's into the teeth of the wind. Just relax on these holes and swing easy.

I like the mix of drone and gif shots. I played Sleepy Ridge. Hated it. Too many shots where you can’t see where to aim because of all of the long reeds poking out of the water. Also, you can’t take your cart into the parking lot. Don’t ever need to play there again.

They sell tees with markings on them 100 for $10 on Amazon. ..

Going in a few weeks... will definitely pack extra balls after watching this. Looks tight. But awesome.

Was it hard to get permission to fly? I'm visiting in a few weeks and I'm thinking about bringing one of my drones. Otherwise I'll just bring a camera.

I played here back in March of 2022, it is an amazing maintained course the only draw back of the course is that it really isn't that challenging off the tee, it seemed that every tee shot was sort of grip it and rip it. As far as the videos it would be great to feature a few of the holes you liked or disliked.

Played this course two weeks ago. Best course I played on my trip. I enjoyed it a lot more than Royal Hawaiian. Royal was fun but you absolutely have to have your game in check!

Turtle bay also includes water bottles small cooler with ice and access to a practice area for putting, chipping, and driving range all included with greens fees so get there early to warm up and enjoy!!🤙🏾🤙🏾

played it today. Amazing course but windy

Trade secret the course is on golfnow and rounds are 30 bucks total. Played it few days ago. Course is in better shape greens are faster and more of a challenge. I live here in Payson only about 5-7 mins away.

This course seems pretty flat and open. How fast were the greens? Going to Oahu this September and only have one day to play golf. Ko olina or royal hawaiian?

Hole 16 is the hardest hole

Today I had a strange experience at the Royal Hawaiian Golf Club. I went to the club to play golf with a friend two days ago. I bought it because I liked golf FJ shoes at the club. I went round the first hole in my new golf FJ shoes. But my front and back of the left ankle skin pain. It was so painful that I changed it with my old golf shoes. After finished 9 holes , I went to the shop and told employee that the left shoe was the problem. I odered for a different pair of shoes. Or refund. However, the staff said that the soles of the shoes had blue stains and could not be exchanged or refunded. That day, my friend and I gave up playing on the backline in the second half. The female staff was strangely unfriendly to us, and after talking to someone on the phone without solving the problem, she closed the door and pretended to go. (The neck of the high shoe is raised, and the uncomfortable and rough part hurts the ankle. I pulled the socks on, but it hurts, so I took them off.) I wanted to replace the problematic shoe with another shoe. I told the other employee wearing a red T-shirt who worked there, and he told me to come and change it tomorrow. Two days later in the morning I went to the golf course. The blue stains on the shoes (I checked the blue chemical sprayed on the grass) were wiped clean and removed. However, the male employee ignored me and was rude. He said Yesterday my friend called the police and told me he couldn't change shoes or give me a refund, and he told me to leave. I went out and was talking with another employee, and a male employee of the store asked me to enter the store. He told me to wait. The manager from the management office told me to wait for a while, so I sat in a chair and waited. However, 15 minutes later, two police officers entered the store. The employee lied to the police that I was trespassing. Police said I was banned from the golf course for a year and would be arrested if I entered the golf course again. the police told me , I could file a complaint with management or file a complaint over the phone. Police said I could sue the male employee so that he could be fired. I said that if I get the golf course owner's signature, the one-year ban will be lifted. An unfriendly male employee told me three times that Mr. Kim, the owner of the golf course , He was no longer here. where is Korean owner ? I couldn't comprehend the staff fighting so hard with their customers. It was the first time his left ankle hurt from wearing FJ shoes. It was an incredible experience. If the owner or manager sees this message, keep an eye out for the staff at the checkout. Very unfriendly to guests. And the employee asked the police to apply for a ban on entry of guests who were not at fault.

Def will be playing here soon. I play Wolf Creek in Mesquite 4 times a year and this course will be added to one of my future WC trips. Thanks for the review.

Almost booked here for an upcoming weekend trip, but I doubt the greens are recovered if this was just last Fall. Even if they have a really good course maintenance team, I can't see myself being happy paying the nonresident rate if the course is anywhere near that condition from 6-7 months ago.
