First of all thank you for this video! I had no idea the cover even came off this way. Mine had no screws at all and I had to start with the front side first. Just had 2 locking tabs on each side just GO SLOW. Mine is a 2014 model so may had something to do with lack of screws. YES you can absolutely 100% wash the whole cover in soapy water. There is zero electronic anything on the cover portion just fabric and plastic. Soft scrub brush and some Dawn or Simple Green.

Nice video, but... are the batteries for pre- and post-2016 version the same? If not, how to identify the correct one for my pre-2016 model, with serial number TL0282?

This Dyson vacuum is a crazy design. It looks very smart but too complicated design and structure spending consumers too much money to own it. Basically I only like the simplest one with vacuum paper bag. Don’t buy it. My daughter has one, but the vacuumed air is a contaminated dirty air that makes the user unhealthy pollution air..

Can the bin be taken apart? I removed one screw inside the gray tube thing and one inside the red part of the bin but there is a wire going inside there and I am afraid to pull on the parts.

Thanks for an informative video! I removed canister and cyclone (just whatever I could detach without using a screwdriver) and now that I put it back together, I'm having issues when pulling the red tap to empty canister. Seems like it takes great effort to release the clips on that sliding section you show at 16:09 mark. The piece with "2 small triangles" and spring are placed as shown on your video.) Any suggestions on how to make it open smoothly again are greatly appreciated.

Okay so. I've seen this video a couple times. I've noticed that the reason my discs won't go into the system. Is because one of those two blue rollers may he off the track. If thats the issue. Im going to be annoyed. System itself works fine. But I can't put discs in. Anyway. Rambling. I'm just worried about breaking something and being fucked. My PS4 is old as hell. But it still works so. Wish me luck. I will be trying this.

This is the best disassembly video I’ve seen for this model. I never got the cyclones apart until watching this. Followed your steps exactly, also ordered a new filter and the vacuum works like new again. Crazy it only went for 3 years before it started to choke, but I’m sure I’ll get three more now. Although I bought my PlayStation (used) 4 years ago 2020, I have never cleaned it. I opened the left side above the disc ejection point and cleaned it only. I don't know how many years have passed since I didn't clean it...The problem is that I don't trust the technician who will clean my Sony. I'm afraid that its contents will be stolen. 🔩 Or to find new things in it.😢
