Yes very well put Martin. Its not just Arma who is suffering from not having a physical no 9. I think it would really benefit Cameron Archer too. I felt for Russell as it was a gutless performance from the players. The set up was strange and clearly failed, but Russell will learn I am sure. Keep up the good work mate. I will be at the Leicester game, so I am hoping tomorrow is a much stronger performance to give us some encouragement.

I agree Armstrong needs a go on the right, but we need to create chances for him. Last year Smallbone did that, but hasn't looked good enough so far. Diaz looks like Bambi on ice, Stewart, has spirit but no touch yet, and Archer needs confidence and service. ABK has to be an option to at least try , and yes Downes needs to be minding that area. The style is really boring to watch as i have said before, i am seriously considering just not watching after 50 years. It is not just us, it is football as a whole, totally souless.

So cheers for that. Looks like a tough season for your lot, it’s soul destroying getting thumped every week. Games like this are fun, and I’d like you to stay up just for that. The less said about Fraser the better. Refused to sign a new contract for about 2 years with us, and effectively downed tools so badly he was isolated from the squad by Eddie Howe and rumoured to be training solo on a local recreation park. On his day…he was an outstanding winger, but he’ll forever be tainted by his lack of effort the season we went down. You’re best shot of him. Rambo in goal though is an outstanding signing.

Very sorry to hear about the rude and unhelpful attitude of some of the stewards, and I hope you will make a formal complaint to the club about it. We like to pride ourselves on being a family outfit, trying to keep something of the old third division friendliness even amid the crazy money and TV demands of the Premier League. Your experience sadly gives the lie to that, at any rate for away fans, and it’s important that the club hears that.

We had problems with the stewarding pre, halftime and after when fan friendly Brentford visited Bournemouth. We’d have enough of them, and when fronted up, they were quaking in their boots‼️

Loads of Bournemouth fans I know don't hate Saints, I have some good mates who follow you lot which is their prerogative entirely. I thought we 🍒 were superb in the first half and the game was won by half time. Anyway good luck for the remainder of the season.

There wasn't a hate until we met in the third tier a few years back. Walking to St Mary's we were constantly mocked with "It's your cup final". It was this 'big club' attitude that got under the skin as if you were something special when in reality you were playing a league fixture in the THIRD tier. Bearing in mind we had the same crap a few weeks earlier in the League Cup tie. Now it's endless comments about it not being a derby. We get that Portsmouth is your big game but if you don't care about us why do we constantly hear you saying it's not a derby 😂. Personally I don't have a problem with any Saints fan that isn't suffering from billy big bollox syndrome.

Ipswich fan here. We are in the same boat as you with no win yet. However we have got 4 draws so far. You did need a point just to instil a bit of confidence . It seems Saints were well beaten though. Despite all the gloom and doom it is very early in the season.Cast your mind back to last season when Leicester were 15 points clear of us in 2nd.place and yet they only finished 1 point ahead of us. As the saying goes ´´it ain´t over ´til the larger than average lady sings´´.

There are only a few that hate Saints. The rest is banter and the reaction we get when we say it’s a derby. My brother’s a Saints fan and have nothing against them. It’s just a a convenient ‘not a derby’ game.

Look, Russel Martin got it wrong last night but I'm certainly not in favour of sacking him (yet. As there is always a point when it becomes untenable). I like the style and I'm desperate to see it succeed. I like Russell and want him to do well. Especially after some of the dross managers we've put up with in recent years. The 2nd half was better, RM needs to find his best team and we can play possession-based football if like in the 2nd half we play much faster. It can be done. But massively up against it already. Great Vlog as always - I know it's easy to say you didn't enjoy the evening but you were also with friends and we had a laugh. There were some clear good points. The match itself and the matchday experience was very poor. People need to remember that everyone will have different experiences to each other. Sadly I saw all of the points you were raising. You are entitled to that opinion and people who visit a vlog need to accept that. Keep the failth!

Martin has lost the plot. Since when were championship managers built for the prem? He has already played 6 games and on paper 4 of those games we should be getting at least one point. What a crap start considering our opening games were against lower sides. Now we got to play arsenal, Leicester and Man city. If we don't get 3 points from Leicester, he's got to get sacked otherwise it's to late.

Watched the game at home in Berlin, Germany. How can a team be set up without strikers and expect to get a result no matter who the opposition? It did not help Saints cause when the quicker than quick free kick undid them after starting pretty reasonable. Thereafter it looked like the towel had been thrown in until half time. 3-0 but could easily have been 4. A quick goal should be just what is needed to ignite some passion and fire in their bellies, but all to often playing passes across the back line or even from high up the pitch playing backwards. Sorry for the fans who traveled, just be grateful it wasn't at Newcastle. Good luck for the remainder of the season.

I think one of the biggest issues for Saints is that (like so many other promoted sides) the guts gets ripped out of the team and fair weather journeymen are brought in, supposedly as an “upgrade” to the team that got Saints promoted last season. That, along with a manager with no experience at prem level means naivety and very a easily beaten team. Back four look terrible, midfield don’t ever look like they’re in control of a game, and nonexistent up front. Where to go from here?

Don’t think necessarily hatred for Saints fans but know fair few locals that jumped ship to support you guys as a ‘bigger’ club back in the day now not looking so good and tend to keep quiet about who they support
