Texas let up 336 passing yards vs Clemson. OSU Wr and offense is better. Texas let 296 yards vs ASU and ASU was down best Wr and really was a 1 man band. I don’t see this elite Texas defense? In there biggest games Georgia 2x, Clemson, AsU they weren’t good. ASU had them beat!

It’s the best 4 who used the season to galvanize a team and then put it on the field in the playoffs. This is what some of us wanted 30 years ago and it’s nice to finally be here. Still some things to tweak obviously but MUCH better than the AP choosing and teams sharing championships.

ASU had a ton of trick plays and a few calls in their favor to get back in the game. The missed block punt cost Texas 3 points. The fake Lunt gained them 45 yards but no points. The half back pass gained 43 yards and a TD. The pass to Skattebo where he pushed off gained them 62 yards and eventually a TD. The missed illegal men downfield cost Texas 2 points and tied the game. The missed targeting on Bond cost Texas possession. The 2 missed FGs were all on Auburn. The OT TD should not have counted because an OL can’t suplex the RB into the end zone. Texas was better and deserved to win. People act like QE had a bad game yet he threw for 322, 3 TDs and ran for another.

Obviously the only time you ever watched asu. He’s been shaking his head all year and addressed this multiple times throughout the season.

Yeah, Teaff should have been called for targeting but how would the game have been different by that point if the two other penalties that should have been called against Arizona State but weren't (targeting and carrying a runner int the end zone) had been properly called? What then?
