    Congrats Texas. Great to get to play in Austin. Hope you win it all. Go Clemson.

    How about some creds for Texas' performance rather than whining about why Clemson couldn't pull it off?

    Why do so many people keep saying "he got his head across" in regards to a BLINDSIDE BLOCK? This is not a BLOCK IN THE BACK call.
    We can hate that it overturned a TD, but we can't argue that it was in fact a BLINDSIDE BLOCK.

      Sorry posted mine before reading your comment. You are 100% correct. Also on a "block in the back" the position of a player's HEAD doesn't matter either. The call is, or should be, based on where the first contact is made by the blocker on the player being blocked. Many of the down field calls for BIB or not the correct call because the first contact is in the shoulder area not the BACK.

    texas realized their run game COULD NOT BE STOPPED OR EVEN SLOWED DOWN by Clemson, and then played a bend dont break game with a lead, not worrying about Clemson’s offense.
    that’s why clemson started making some plays. it wasn’t ever in doubt though. Texas knows this is a long road they have to navigate in the cfp and sometimes they seem to let up a bit (for rest? for less injuries? who knows) when they’re sure they can’t be stopped.

    @DavidPollackCFB Man Kudos to your page for gving the actual honest assessment of the game. I am a huge Clemson fan, and our Old Defensive aggression is not there anymore! Not because we dont have personal but our failure to align properly and shut down gaps, Goodwin will be reassessed if it doesn't change. But I beleieve your show is one of the best, if not the Best and I am saying this because you called if exactly how it wass on every gam. You do your homework and exactly the strengths and weaknesses of everyone. And i have a lot of sports followers on other Social media platforms and i am requesting everyone to atleast visit your site if only for one time to listen to real show that speaks on everything involving each respective team. Merry Christmas and thank you for this page.

    Texas fan. Yep, the Clemson QB played lights out. He was great. the blindside block was just stupid. The way they call games today that was just dumb. Gibson is a freshman and has played in most games. Texas has a great run defense. I think Texas' run defense is underrated while their pass defense is a little overrated. Still a great defense though especially as a scoring defense.
    Texas cannot play in the 3rd quarter. I do not know what they talk about in the locker room at half, but it never works. They let too many teams back into games. See Vanderbilt, A&M, and Georgia. Most of the time they are talented enough to win. Georgia being the difference.

      As a Texas fan, we saw two blocks-in-back calls that brought back explosive plays. All of these were bang-bang plays - teammate intercepts, a DLineman turns and sees a tackler fall - yes, the DLineman's gonna reach and push him flat. Block in the back? "Better than stompin' on him."

    Cade did fight back and played a great game but Texas wasn't the same team in the second half as it was in the first half and for some reason they didn't run the NASCAR package on defense that was getting to the QB every time in the first half. Give anyone time to throw and they will pick you apart. Gibson and Blue have been on the shit list for fumbling the ball.

    • @Sam53Morgan
      @Sam53Morgan 19 годин тому

      I don't mind Blue's fumbles. Those are plays called to run a li'l scatback into a mass of linemen. Get him some scatback plays - Kansas State used Darren Sproles, or how the KC Chiefs used former Longhorn Eric Metcalf.

    If these guys honestly knew football they would realize that when a team is ahead 31-10, you change up your defense to a bend don't break defense, in other words you let them move the ball up and down the field, you just don't let them win.🙄

    Georgia has had 7 players arrested since March and a 41% graduation rate. Clemson is clean with consistently the highest graduation rates year after year. 54,000 applicants for a freshman class of 4500. Clemson has their priorities solidly in place. Our country’s obsessions with college football is sick. For years Clemson and Alabama couldn’t be beaten so we legalized buying a team of thugs. We are not helping our young people, just enabling their worst versions. And the media is the champion of this process. All for money. You must be proud.

    • @ChunkyRaguu
      @ChunkyRaguu 2 години тому

      @TheMudFish1 Georgia graduation rate (86.4%) is higher than Clemson's (83.6%). Clemson had multiple players arrested this year. I still remember not too long ago (THIS year) Caden Story getting arrested for possession of drugs.
