Pre manufactured french drains are way more expensive in material cost than pvc or perforated corrugated pipe with gravel and filters.
I’m glad ya used pvc at least but ya need some clean outs on those downspouts. Spend a extra $30 for the Y, Insert and cap. Makes it easier to show the customer how it’s going to work and how easy they can clean them out.
From the pic at 0:30, it looks like the catch basin should be closer to the garage inside the brick border near the shrub.
The driveway had a swale at that location..drive sloped toward garage, water running from alley toward garage and would flood into garage. The border trapped the water, allowing water to enter the garage at the corner, hence the downspout drain, the catch basin diverted water from the driveway to the creek.

You may be the first I've seen who calculates GPM, 10/10. Those popups are only rated for 40 GPM where anything higher will pop them off or cause erosion due to the speed of the flowing water spraying everywhere.
@@texasdrainsolutions4189 They're still a restrictor as they're only rated for 40 GPM. I was trying gravity-push 111 GPM through one & it wouldn't pass it, the setup backed up & flooded over my driveway.
I’m surprised ya didn’t run that under the sidewalk and pop up next to the curb. That way it doesn’t flood the sidewalk
Hello, I hope you can answer a question for me. I have a Rigid k50, but the 5/8 cable does not go through 1 1/2 kitchen sink bends. In your opinion, will the 3/8 Milwaukee inner core from the switch pack work for 1 1/2 kitchen sink? Thank you very much!
@@texasdrainsolutions4189 DIY john Hello, I just got my switch pack with 3/8 cable and tired it. Unfortunately, the 3/8 cable does not work for my 1 1/2 pipe. I tried under my sink and my washer. Both of them are 1 1/2, but none of them worked. I just ordered 5/16 cable, but it has an integral bulb head.
@@texasdrainsolutions4189 It did not get a pass even without any attachments. The cable is just too stiff for my 1 1/2 pipe I believe.

What size and length is your line ?
Thanks for the response. I've been thinking about buying the milwaukee sectional machine but I have a lot of calls dealing with roots and I don't see this machine cutting out roots.
