    But it affects us. Those with out money. How fair is to a mother like me to become homeless. People wipe their butts with money. So you're telling me that money is more important than our lives. You don't think God isn't watching the struggle you put on us but he is. I will not thank you for putting my children and I on the streets so that you can keep your little money. The school systems are built like jails so you can keep your reason for making poor people homeless while you sit comfortably in your mansions. Don't build your empires on our backs and call it a win win.

      Keeping your children off the streets is your responsibility. I’m sorry prices are rising but these are foreseeable consequences. What you can do is move somewhere cheap that will develop over the next 20 years. Save to buy a house. Then sell when the developers inevitably come to that place. Then, you will benefit. Of course this is not easy but you are capable of it if you sacrifice for it.

      @@michaelblasius7705 poor people always get the short end of the stick. If I'm unable to work because of my disability it's impossible to move when a landlord wants to be a slum Lord. Hence my landlord is being sued by the city. I guess it's the city responsibility to help all these disabled poor people find housing. Or like you said it's ours. What you can do is picture you and your family in my shoes. Respectfully

      They should have purchased property. Obviously, they likely never had the money to do that but their own decisions likely played a huge part in that. You can’t sign a lease and then be mad when the terms are renegotiated at the end. This is the deal from the start and you have to plan ahead.

    The thing is HOW can real estate be more lucrative than Life Insurance??! This never made sense to me considering people WILL get sick, injured or disabled, the odds just increase when you hit your 70's and 80's (when you get older)! Next, is obvious. People WILL die! ...So I don't get it as well. Where do people get the money to even BUY real estate?! Not to mention the many competators you have with RE! There's like an agent in every corner.

    Notice how the second guy mentions how developers have to be *forced* by city government rules to add affordable housing units to their projects? That tells you a lot about what's really going on. If those rules, which are called "inclusive zoning", didn't exist they's build even *more* market rate and upper income housing. And I'm not even gonna get into how building rental only housing units locks out working people from an avenue to buy and *own* their own place, which is the ultimate way to lock in housing affordability and build a base of personal wealth.

    • @michaelblasius7705
      @michaelblasius7705 28 днів тому

      Affordable housing keeps the market rate of housing higher at the expense of those who receive the subsidized housing.

    • @cjaquilino
      @cjaquilino 28 днів тому

      @@michaelblasius7705Developers are more than willing to be subsidized. And when that's the reality, they should be forced to build subsidized housing-fair to fair. If you wanna argue that non of this should be the case in the first place, I agree. But why it is is a different conversation.
