5 Reasons Why Its Hard To Find An NHS Dentist
Can I ask how much will cost all teeth extractions ?
Why go too turkey ?? Maybe start supporting ur local dentist no wonder all local shops are closing!!
Talking bull pal…. Dentist in Turkey work for a living instead of trying to rip off customers like you dentist in the UK do… Turkish dentist are just as qualified if not more so than you UK dentist and their clinics are far more state of the art than most of the converted houses and shops that are used in the UK… my advice to people not wanting to be ripped off at home DO research Turkey and you won’t be disappointed
So you get through as many patients as possible and generally only accept private. £80-£130 for a 20min bupa check up. Cant get on an NHS dentist anymore because you lot make more money privately. Then there's the selling of pharmaceuticals. And the controversy over flouride use. Creating long term patients/clients through unnecessary treatments just so you get paid. Unfortunately people are becoming aware of the greed and misinformation provided by people we are supposed to trust. I think if people were less driven by money the world would be a much better place.😮
In the UK dental care situation is very very sad 😅😅 you are just trying to divert traffic to your losing business 😅😅so many people did their teeth in Turkey, and They are happy... You charge ten times more than Turkey and you are a little jealous.. that is All 😅😅
My wisdom teeth is coming in at 37 years is it normal it not impacted should o I remove it
And that’s why i think it ages people they should leave their teeth alone
I didnt know that turkeys have teeth
I wouldn't even consider having any non emergency treatment for anything carried out in countries without the same regulation as the UK, EU Australia and so on.
That's very interesting and it certainly explains why dentists are leaving the NHS. I have been with the same NHS dentist for 38 years but unfortunately for me but goof for her she has just recently retired. I do count myself very lucky to have been treated so many years on the NHS and I did have a lot of Band 3 treatment including crowns, root canal treatment on crowned teeth, then when when crowned teeth with root canal treatment became brittle and fractured they were replaced with Post crowns. I think those are all cases of band 3 treatment? I honestly didn't realise the costing behind it and the income made by my kind and very competent dentist for each of my treatment courses.. I was unable to find an NHS dentist locally and have opted for private treatment. I will be getting implants which whilst expensive are worth it for me (I'm in the fortunate position where I have the resources to pay).
So you wouldn't use dental crowns for damaged teeth as well? You didn't mentioned damaged teeth.
Full coverage connected crowns!!! Should be illegal
I totally agree there’s a lot of young people in their 20s even early 30s it’s pretty good teeth they should do some homework first the average crown last anywhere from 10 to 15 years if it’s taken care of well now if you nearly 40s or older and like you said have many root canals already many caps missing teeth
I just gone private in uk and it cost me roughly 4 grand to have almost perfectly straight teeth through invisalign, boutique whitening and teeth bonding its quite costly but worth every penny considering my teeth have never been so strong and perfect. I guess people just rather go for cheaper and quicker alternative for perfect looking teeth when in reality cheap and quick doesn’t work out in any aspect of life.
I know a guy that got his teeth done in Turkey he's Arabic so I don't know if he knows like the culture of turkey a little bit better cuz they are close to each other regionally but anyway his teeth look good I didn't even know that they were turkey teeth until he told me they look really nice and he only paid about $3,000
I had boobs done, they are ok. Xxx
Looking like Smashey & Nicey 😂
But to mention as well I had met the kindest dentist one time sadly i could not get my dentist treatment by her I would love to have her as my dentist. she was very kind to me, made me feel like i was in safe hands and she understood me well knowing i'm autistic. Other dentist i had after her didnt even tell me anything after i told him I was scared, he ignored me.
Both NHS and private dentist both want money from their patients. Each tooth in your mouth is £100 to get removed. and i think adults have something like 30 teeth, so it's like £500. but then add on all the other prices of the things you don't need and don't want doing, because yes you need all the nonsense rubbish doing as well otherwise you can't get help. Like if you wanted a tooth extraction on 5 teeth, (just example) you will need a whole teeth cleaning along with it and some other rubbish they put in your price payment plan. That is an experience i had at a private dentist. I know all dentists are not the same but ive noticed they all want us to pay for the teeth cleaning treatment. I would take it if it was free. but nope they charge us knowing we broke and wouldnt be there if the NHS cared about us.
How do you find the end of your natural teeth when removing composite?
I have a great Contact to introduce you to a business that actually enjoys giving you absolute pleasure in teeth turkey dental practice recommended by top standards just quote me I wish we all could smile without the prejudice, be happy and be kind to all those around you because we are all going through something ❤❤
1500 pounds in the uk to redo a root canal. Who can afford that ? I love my teeth and went to France and did the same procedure for 260 euros (private too). Tooth saved and heathy again. Going aboad just become the only option really.
I didn’t realise France was much cheaper too.. worth considering!
people should read this scientific study www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC6175967/ Scary!
If dentists in the uk weren’t such robbing b@st@reds then ordinary people wouldn’t need to go to turkey 🤷🏻♀️
Are they all in namibia or where can they be found
Free Palestine
Okay, Doc. A temporary optical illusion, created by dehydrating the teeth. Got it. Any idea how long the effect typically lasts? Let’s say I have wedding where I know I will have my picture taken. Will the effect last 60-90 minutes?
Where are you located, send contact information!
And they look stupid
Is that Buffon?
😭😊😭😭
I worked as an NHS dentist for 10 years. I almost went bankrupt. As I could not deliver the UDA targets as I was spending too long with patients and doing complex procedures all on the NHS I often ended the month with a negative outcome. No other sector is treated the same way as dentistry. We are strictly regulated. Many dentists are also in fear of performing complex treatment for fear of being sued or struck off the dental register.
Rip of dentists money money money they have excuses for everything.
Sorry you feel this way buddy! Is this off the back of nhs or private treatment?
Oh god, as a dentist in Turkey that has worked in dental tourism and left because of the unethical treatments of patients and all of the problems you mentioned, I would love to give you inside information and expose just how much more horrible it actually is.
Please do share more ? There are some fantastic ethical dentists in Turkey, but sadly these appear vastly overpowered by these dental tourism clinics preying on vulnerable and misguided tourists.
@@yourdentistsays6572 buckle up, it’s gonna be a long ride
@@yourdentistsays6572 hi, do you have an email or another platform I can reach you? Because I have so much to tell
Explain 🙏
Gum disease is in effect a silent disease. As Steven says, if you don’t brush for a day or so, you may not see a great deal of difference yourself. However, what’s happening is your gums are getting inflamed and you are progressing to a condition called gingivitis. At this point, it’s reversible, but you’ll get bleeding from your gums periodically. Left unchecked, this will silently progress to periodontitis over months and years, which leads to bone loss, tooth mobility and ultimately tooth loss and that’s in effect what Stevens sound bite is trying to reflect…years of neglect will ultimately land you in the dental chair with advanced and irreversible damage that then requires significant dental intervention. Whilst a patient may sit in the dental chair assuming their dental event is as a result of recent damage; the reality is the seed for their downhill spiral was planted many years ago by their conscious decision of self neglect; of not being bothered to brush their teeth because they were too tired and casually having midnight sweet treats before bed… Hope that helps! If you found this useful, please kindly share and follow 🙌🏾
So informative! Very scary to see what really goes on. Thanks Dr Raggi
I feel a duty to get this kind of content out there! 🙌🏾

Well, most bike repair shops don't charge just for looking at the problems. Not sure about laptop repairs because I've never actually taken my laptop to repairs. By the time they stop working, it's due for a upgrade. Or it's just the power electronics, (mostly old caps) failing needing replacement. But DC side almost never fails because it's low voltage. It's the AC side, the power brick which is easily replaced. And back when I was in Hong Kong, private ones don't charge you seperately for the operations... The check ups without any problem always include deep cleaning. The university dentist charges seperately but check up is free once a semester anyway so it's only the polish and scaling that costs £10.
Even if you get your appointment they won't polish your teeth. It's like you brushing your teeth and not using dental floss. Leaving your teeth with a rough stained surface surely is a good way to accumulate bacteria. The university dentist I visited back when I was still in Hong Kong took things very seriously and always cleaned out every bit of stain and it cost only £10 equivalent of HKD. She was the reason I started using dental floss too!
Multiple root canals like me😢. I got my first one done at 11!
Ouch!
Thanks! I just did this but the yellow residue is still there. At least it has started coming off now. How often can I wash my retainer?
Hi! It depends on your desire really and your diet. I would typically advise weekly cleans being best practice.
The before and after photo in the vide.... The original teeth look way superior, why on earth would someone with such good teeth ruin them..... They look like an elderly persons dentures.... Too as straight and and white
Exactly! Totally agree with you 🙌🏾
My sister just went to Turkey for veneers, about a month ago.. and came home with these.... They look like comedy teeth. They're enormous.... Like sugar cubes. She's in London atm, cos couldn't get a local Welsh dentist see her for a month.... She's seeing about getting them removed....they put them in despite an infection. It's basically gonna bankrupt her
Sorry to hear this! I’ve just posted a new video on Turkey teeth

@@yourdentistsays6572 thanks, just watched. And yes she'd have benefitted from alignment. Her own teeth were OK. And now they're stumps.

Glad it was helpful!
Can i confirm if the materials are differnt for goinf private? Ive been signed of sick and struggle on universal credit. (Payment plan not an option) However i know i need root canal, fillings and tooth extraxtion. I will need a few back teeth replacing with fake ones but id want to get decent ones. Are you able to ask for a more experienced dentist? (One who usually works privately) and trains the newly qualified dentists/students? Thank you so much for any help 🙏
NHS dentistry uses poorer quality materials and there’s not enough time for the staff to do a good job
Hi there, by logic, if the nhs fees are so low and time so limited, then of course you will find limitations in the treatment you receive. You will have to do your own research on who treats you, but I think you may well struggle in your specific request.
They are butchers
Have you had this done yourself?
ALL UK DENTISTS ARE JUST JEALOUS.. THEY ARE BOUND TO SAY TURKEY TEETH OR OTHER EU PLACES ARE BAD.. THEY ARE NOTHING SHORT OF LEGAL ROBBERS. DISGUSTING POST
Yes it works!!
Oh here we go.. a greedy uk dentist slagging everything off thats not robbing people blind.. have you actually done the stats??? over 93% of those who go to Turkey are perfectly happy with their new teeth and over 98% who go elsewhere in europe. Uk dentists are greedy , inexperienced at implants and veneers etc and downright jealous.
Very bloody 😱
