The Crawl Walk Run system with SolidWorks Simulation Part 1
Переглядів 9 тис.10 років тому
gosimulation.com/ *This is an advanced tutorial. It is recommended that you have experience with beam elements within SolidWorks Simulation before beginning. In this video, we’ll explore a little known FEA workflow called the Crawl Walk Run system. The purpose of the Crawl Walk Run system is to get accurate simulation results from very complicated models. Notable Points: 0:14 Overview of the Cr...
Learn SolidWorks Simulation in Under 11 Minutes Tutorial
Переглядів 340 тис.10 років тому
Please visit gosimulation.com/ to download the part seen in this video. In this video, we'll learn SolidWorks Simulation in under 11 minutes. To do this, we will simulate a linkage arm being pulled with a force of 500 lbs. This linkage arm will eventually be manufactured through a casting process. With this said, our goal will be to vary the geometry of the linkage arm to reduce the volume of a...
Non Linear Dynamic Contact with SolidWorks Simulation
Переглядів 68 тис.10 років тому
In this video, we will create a non linear dynamic simulation with SolidWorks Simulation. In this simulation, we will study the effects of two components traveling through space and then coming into contact with one another. We will explore time steps, fixtures, initial velocities and damping. Finally, we will measure the contact force with time.

In this video: We will explore the five six best SolidWorks selection tools. These tools have saved me a lot of time (especially when working with SolidWorks Simulation). We will cover the split line command, the filter toolbar, the select other ...
Mohr Coulomb Stress with SolidWorks Simulation
Переглядів 6 тис.10 років тому
gosimulation.com/ Gosimulation is the only online resource which is 100% devoted to SolidWorks Simulation training. Originally posted at: gosimulation.com/mohr-coulomb/ In this video: We will learn how to work with brittle materials using SolidWorks Simulation by simulating the effects of a person sitting on a granite bench. Nice. Any new tools since then ?
Would you record a video that outlines development of the sketch and logic behind the development? Thank you.
11:25 - Why do we not make these two direction 2 selections as curvature instead of tangent? Is it overkill for this purpose since it is not meant for aesthetic purposes? Would it slow down or break the model in some way?
just came across this tutorial after 8 years, it's definitely outdated but still an amazing guide nonetheless. i wish you still made these amazing tutorials :<
I hope you know, I spent the last week trying to get around using an initial velocity because I didn't realize you could apply it to a body. I applied it to all of my surfaces and edges but then had a weird result where the skin/mesh of my object had a massive stress in it. I wish I found your video earlier.
Never understood the Boundry Surface direction 1 and direction 2 until now. Thanks for a great explanation.
boo goh midi baba
Thanks for Quality content like this. Appreciate it.
thanks
Can you simulate a ball joint made in polymer: example ABS?
your amazing i love you
Good excellent explanation,
I know I am late on this GREAT technical topic, but when I execute the first step in the process and "Surface Extrude" the centerline I do not get the four sections defined by the vertices - I only get one continuous surface. Can anyone suggest why? Thank you for any feedback.
Good content!
Wonderful!!
Thank you a lot for interpreting with the simulation report.
Please i need to download this part but i cant My mail ... mustafaalmarzogi@gmail.com
Make it more in the future...THANK YOU
Hi do you know any value or reference for damping when using nonlinear dynamics specific for bullet impacts lets say, playing with the damping values for alpha and beta has a great impact on the results, i mean is there a way to at least correctly input damping specific for bullet impact simulations in nonlinear dynamics, thanks..
Wow thanks
Is it possible to simulate the delamination of the coating from the substrate?
SolidWorks-органические формы с опорными поверхностями
Your Explanation is very helpful, Please make videos on SolidWorks 2020 Thank you
What was the lesson on it
So sad the website "solidsanity.com" does not exist now.
A perfect video and a perfect example to start learning simulation with SolidWorks.
Title didn't lie
Bravo👍
I really enjoyed your session sir. Thank you very much.
Thanks for the excellent explanation.
Dude your the best, Thanks for a great video.
1. You could just cut surface using the trip tool. 2. You dont need to use rulled surface to make sure that created loft will be tangent. It is easier to check "normal to profile" option. Anyway very good tutorial :)
Great. Thank U.
it was amazing.
Thank you very much.Your explane is very good, and very good lesson.l will chek subscribe.(in İstanbul)
this guy runs solidworks on battery power like a champ
what we do here is 1. we find out the stress concentration zone/area. and model that area in detail 3D CAD model. 2. We model only up to connected joints nearby so that we can transfer the joint forces to the 3D mesh model 3. then we measure the joint forces from the beam analysis and manually apply it to the 3D mesh analysis and run the simulation. this will solve quickly than solving the entire model as 3D mesh.
Thanks for this great tutorial! One question, just for my own curiosity: at 3:50 , why did you not cut off directly the surface with that sketch? It with the extra split line it takes an extra feature.
Wondering how making the fillet radius larger decreased the volume of the part?
Thank you sir
Thanks
Thanks a lot
Great, Very useful and simple demo,Thank you
Thank you for the video! I have a question -what if I want to apply the force not on the surface but on the line, but not the edge line. How this can be achieved? How to add the force application line to the model?
Best explanation on UA-cam for this topic. Thank you!!!
Thank you Nick !! You make an difficult subject (Non linear analysis) turn to easy - congratulation - From Eng. Thiago Brazil
Well presented.
This was an excellent explanation, and covered everything that I had questions about. Thank you.
Thank you. This is the best video for SolidWoks that i have seen.
