Hell yeah! Another song I recommend is "The world looks red", but if you listen to that it doesn't hit the same without also hearing "The world looks white" first, they're supposed to be listened in that order, the world looks white, the world looks red.

Yea theres a lot of information in this movie, even in season 1, there are a lot of hidden things here and there that you wouldnt catch unless you rewatch it. Also, did you already watch Season 2? Because for the last song you chose is the same one that plays at the end of season 2, if not thats a cool coincidence lol.

Basicamente Bondrewd es una conciencia colectiva, todo el escuadron de Umbra Hand son el mismo. La reliquia llamada Zaohololic crea copias de Bondrewd dentro de otras personas, cuando la reliquia esta activa todos comparten la misma conciencia -por eso parecen como robots-, y cumplen tareas de forma colectiva, cuando esta inactiva o el individuo se aleja demasiado de la reliquia recupera su propia conciencia como la Umbra Hand que quemo los campos de flores (o el tipo que Reg rescato del Orbe Perforador, tambien es un Umbra Hand). Bondrewd es basicamente cada miembro de su escuadron por eso al morir el cuerpo principal, otro toma su lugar y asi sucesivamente, hay miembros especializados en combate, los que traen ropas de color blanco, y hay miembros especializados en investigacion los que llevan ropa negra, y hay otros miembros (solo salen el la OVA) que no lograron convertirse en Umbra Hands que nunca recuperan sus conciencias, ni comparten la conciencia principal y son desechadas a meras tareas de mantenimiento. Bondrewd es un criminal buscado fuera de Orth por un crimen no especificado y hay recompensa por su cabeza, la mayoria de los miembros del Umbra Hand son cazarecomepenzas que fueron a su captura y jamas regresaron, segun el propio autor muchos se unieron a los Umbra Hands de forma voluntaria, es decir que el tipo es tan carismatico que los convencio de unirse a el. Segun el propio autor hay otros Bondrewds que cruzaron a la sexta capa y andan por ahi, asi que probablemente lo sigamos viendo. Si te preguntas porque Nanachi, Reg y Riko no destruyeron la reliquia y sus instalaciones es porque el deseo final de Pruska fue que ambos Riko y Bondrewd "dejaran de pelear", asi que ambos honran su ultimo deseo y por eso Nanachi dice que "llegaron a una especie de entendimiento" y que "estan respetado la voluntad de su lider" es decir Riko.

Yeah, Bondrewd cant really be killed without killing all of the umbra hands AND destroying the zoaholic relic. He just gave up on interfering with our team. And yeah, white whistles are indeed created from sacrificing a person that is emotionally connected to the intended whistle user - and said connection must go both ways. Sma goes for the blessing, the connection must be genuine and has to go both ways. (so yeah, Bondrewd didnt just groom Prushka into loving him as a father figure - he also groomed himself. Otherwise his plan to get blessed wouldnt work on a fundamental level.) Worth noting, and skipped in the anime, is the fact that the person continues to be alive while being the whistle, and the bearer (and certain other creatures as well) can communicate with them in various ways. Riko literally can have conversations with Prushka while sleeping, as shown in the manga.

The fact that the Requiem leitmotif (aka 2-2 ost) hits and do a heavily lore ( always cry when the mofit hits) bc in Ultrakill lore, Minos, the boss that plays Order, suffered a lot, first, when Heaven was caotic, he start to redo Lust layer because he thinked that the peoples that was punished because they love eachother doesnt deserve that punishement, when Heaven ended the Civil War, they saw Minos and what he was doing was against God Will (in Ultrakill, God is "dead", kinda hard to explain) and they sent Gabriel to kill Minos, Minos didnt fighted against Gabriel and tried to talk with him, but Gabriel killed with no remorse, fearing the power of Minos Soul, they decided to seal his soul inside his body in a Flesh Prision, and his body, controled by parisites started to destroy the Lust layer, when we destroy the Prision and free the Soul of Minos, he transform in a Prime Soul, a being too powerfull that can manifest a form without a phishical body, they he thanks for us to freeing him, but he cannot spare you because the machines did bad things to the humanity (nothing too crazy, just killed all humans) and starts to fight you, the requiem motif make you fell the emotions that Minos was feeling in the battle, he was weak to protect his peoples, but now he want his revenge against Heaven, but we dont make he gets his revenge...

It seems no one has mentioned yet but the language spoken in this song is made up though there are lyrics out there, from what a recall it is meant to mock the goddess in game. I'd recommend searching it up.

One thing to take in mind for NieR osts, is that some have multiple versions to them. There is another one called Kaine Escape and is also very epic. Like Song of the Ancients which has the Popola -or- Devola- AND the Fate versions. Same with the Shadowlord Castle Memory/ and Roar. Emil Sacrifice/Karma. Fleeting Words Outsider/Family. Probably there is more but don't remember right now haha. The whole soundtrack is a masterpiece, never get tired of listening to it.

This song, while not a final boss theme, has lemotifs from previous songs, Requirem and Glory, some of the shortest and sweetest tracks in the ultrakill ost. Also, yes, this fight used to be the tensest one, but P-2 (the level that has terrembe rosso saunge and WAR) is now the hardest one (so far).

If you're looking for more recommendations for Nier osts my suggestions are Song of the Ancients (Note there's a LOT of different versions of this track but my favorite and the more popular ones are Devola, Popola, and Fate), Shadowlord, Blu-bird, Emil Sacrifice, and Fleeting Words Outsider.

Just a slight correction on the pronunciation, Kai-nay. It's the theme of one of the main characters in the game who goes by the name Kainé. It's funny because by outward appearance it would seem this track doesn't fit the character since she behaves extremely brutish. She is constantly yelling swears and insults. This theme reveals there's a softer side to her and plays during more emotional parts of the story. One of my favorite parts in the story when it plays is when she's comforting another character because they are both going through similar situations and it's the first time in the game you ever see her display a softer side to her. Also, Replicant and Gestalt are almost identical games but with the main difference between them being the age and relationship they have with their relative (Replicant has a young mc taking care of his younger sister while Gestalt has an older mc taking care of his daughter). They made it this way because they believed western audiences would feel more connected to a Father and Daughter story rather than a sibling one that was the original concept of the story and exclusive to Japan until they made a remaster of Replicant.

about this particular track - Irregular God I think that experience from this ost varies greatly between different people and depend even from the one's mood lol. I can describe it as so loooong song, you know what I mean? All the sounds sound so long, it's pretty simple on the other hand in the sense that not so many different sounds we hear and layering is pretty thin I think. The rhythm is also like, strange, irregular, you know. So, it sounds very unusual and experimental, it may seem boring yeah! For me for example, it seemed a bit boring. But at the same time it's really interesting hahaha idk how to put it in words. It sounds beautiful and big, majestic.
