The corn is gone! And the field is worked right down. Chris's videos must be way behind. I bet a few cats bolted out of there when the combine arrived.
Swamp Ash*
No Ginger Cats hard in this video❤
WTF is up with the music it’s blasting loud metal then it’s 90 lbs club music then country then Mexican I say once again WTF
Kayu nya banyak sekali 😮, saya menebang setiap hari
Great log stacking music Bert! Happy Thanksgiving to you and your family!
Good work Bert,I miss the boss man Gavin. He is pretty handy with the tractor , the apple doesn’t fall far from the tree!
That’s some nice ash logs! I think Chris could have stacked them neater and faster!😂😂👍👍
That is some good firewood you got there Bert.Nice work
Good morning Bert!!😀😀
Morning looks like a nice load of logs ! Processor time?
Nice job stacking the ash. Hope everyone has a Happy and safe Thanksgiving!
Nice stacking Bert. My project for later this week. Got to move it before it gets pushed into the burn hole with the brush.
Decent looking ash except for a few twisty ones 👍 Good stacking
It’s best to have things straightened up before the snow hits ❄️☃️💨 in case it stays.
🎉👍👍
Thanks for watching.
If you go back and watch your video, but you may of noticed the knife clamp flexing down as you move the stones over your blade? The 3D printed piece will stop the flex giving you a more consistent angle when you are sharpening.
Thats what I figured. The long filet knives dont work the best but I did get the tip back to a point.
I have that knife sharpener. You can put a wicked edge on Case knives with it for sure. I accidentally cut myself with my knives if I don't pay attention when I'm opening the blades. Would love to buy the Work Sharp Professional Precision Adjust Knife Sharpener but at the cost of $249.99 it has a spot on my Amazon wish list. Lol Bert I can send you a 3D printed brace that goes under the blade holder on that sharpener if you want one. (They do make a difference holding the knife clamp more rock solid as you are sharpening the blade) I have a extra one a guy made me 2. Let me know and I can contact you through your email listed for your channel so I can get your address to mail the piece to you. ✌ -Everett

I have lots of sharpening tools but use the Worksharp belt sharper most.
I thought about getting one of them, but they take more material off than needed
Hi Bert nice knife sharpener like it great review thanks for your insight (Ty Ron
I might like it more after using it more.
I do like my fillet
I did pick up some new knives.
I like the comment that you may have used the knife in ways it shouldn't have been used. Like all us hunters haven't ... LOL. The magnets seem to hold pretty good though. But for now, I think I'll stick to my Chef's Knife Sharpener. Great review. Thanks for you insight.
I always use my knife for what it's not supposed to do
That knife with the curved blade that you use for hunting isn’t the right type of knife to sharpen with that sharpener!!!! Straight blades only curved blades with a set straight sharpener doesn’t sharpen properly
Yup, but the edge I got on it will work.
I like most of your videos! I have a question, how come Adam and your son never drop any trees?
Adam has dropped some & Gavin needs some experience in the woods first
Nice video Bert and. guys😊
Thanks.
Nice video Bert. Makes me wanna get back into it. Certainly got me motivated to cut some more of these white oak rounds that just got dropped off. Take care. Happy cutting!
Thanks. Happy cutting to you as well.
Awesome video guys! I have a large cottonwood that needs to come down. Do you guys ever split and burn cottonwood? I’m thinking about having it dropped and cutting up my self and splitting it myself. Do you think it would be decent for outside fires? Or is it a waste of time. I’ve burned it before seems like it stinks lol
It makes nice campfire wood. It burns fast, but it stinks when cutting and splitting, but when dry doesn't smell as bad.
@ thanks Bert
Multi generation crew. Great video
Yes! Thank you!
Even though I wasn’t there it was nice seeing what you guys did. Thanks again for all the logs. My neighbor is extremely happy with the job. That tree pusher makes directional felling look easy!👍TCT
You're welcome. Thanks for saving us an extra trip. We will be back again to do more when they say they want them down.
A great job by everyone. Enjoyed watching the video! Stay safe out there.
Thanks, will do!
Is Gavin gonna become a full-time arborist? I can see it after high school. That kioti is doing great with the chipper. Some trees are not worth processing into firewood.
He has a few options for a career.
@BertsCustomCuts I say for him to pick what he is passionate about the most.
Nice work from the entire crew. 👍 tractor chipper still getting it done yet a production bottleneck if you keep getting jobs like this, I can see a bigger chipper upgrade saving lots of time. Just reconfirming what you have already acknowledged in previous comments.🤪 Bandit and Vermeer are you watching a demo chipper would be nice.
A chipper demo would be nice.
Great job Guys!! Y'all made light work of all thse trees. Great equipment used!! Stay Hydrated and Have a Safe Day
Thanks 👍
Wow, great video and crew. Chipper did an impressive job and makes a good counterweight for loading those heavyweight logs. The borrowed tractor and tree pusher tool did what they were supposed to do.
We are buying pusher from Tony.
Nice to see the whole family out on this job. 👍
Thanks 👍
You gentlemen work with true professionalism great job with the chipper.
Sounds like they have 5 more trees for us to take down.
Hi everyone nice work on the wood chipper and cutting Trees great video love it (Ty Ron
Thanks 👍
That chipper did more than I thought it could ! Nice job .... without a huge investment in equipment.
But it shows how much nicer a chipper on site is for minimizing trips back and forth.
Great work you guys 👍🏼
Thank you so much 😀
Always nice to get a job once in a while with no climbing.
Climbing takes longer. Pines aren't bad to climb.
Awesome video Bert. Definitely a top notch job in my book. I recognized Adam and Gavin, would the other gentleman happen to be your dad or Adam’s dad? Either way, great work and great video. I like that tree pusher, I seen Tony do a review of it on his channel. Definitely has its place in the arsenal. So much to say but sum it up, great tools, great work, and you are definitely making some great videos. Thank you for the videos and please keep them coming. 👍🏻👍🏻
Most tree service people in Finland cut a small notch for the top of the tree pusher. This is to prevent the pusher from slipping off the tree. I am always looking for safer ways of working.
My dad was the other one. He used Chris's helmet for coms for communication. May be looking into another set of coms on a set of muffs
Could cut a notch for pusher and probley would if using it to direct a tree in a completely different direction of the lean. We used it on this job instead of wedges.
👍
Thanks for watching
Dude never owned a Stihl.
We had one on the farm but have more local husqvarna dealers.
Having the right equipment sure makes life a lot easier. I always was strong and did everything by hand and was still in good shape when I retired. Now I am older and not able to do a lot of things I used to and equipment has been inflated and I have outlived my retirement. I wish I had bought equipment before I retired. That grapple sure is nice.
Equipment makes it a lot easier and more enjoyable.
Considering what was there, it definitely looks so much nicer, worked your behinds of
The tractor made light work of it.
Hey Bert,Edward from Vermont
Thanks for watching.
I have a feeling that's going to last you a lot longer than you expect. I say use it like you do any of your other saws and use it as much as possible, get an idea of how many hours you've put on it and when it truly fails maybe take it apart and see why.
If I used it like my other saws, the break cover will break. Cover is plastic and not made very well.
That looked like a fun day!
It was a lot of fun.
….. Tune in and see Bert and his friends burn stuff and clean the pasture of his parents home. I’d say you have everything a fella could want along with the deadly pallet fire of ‘24. I will definitely be tuning in to the further adventures of Firebug Frank and Bert in the future!!…….
The other pile to burn when snow on the ground will be a fun one. I'll get some video of it as long as it works out to go with Adam when they burn it.
One of humanity's greatest inventions, the ability to control "FIRE"
Brush pile fires are always fun when controlled
